"Not as stubborn as you are..." He chuckled lightly at the camparison...yes she was indeed more stubborn than he. Though a raised eyebrow as that mocking teasing tone came back into her voice and he anticipated the words that were to come, intending to let them roll off and come back with a nice retort. Though a blink to her and he actually looked a little taken by surprise as he turned his eyes to hers. She...missed him? For some reason he wanted to give her a lopsided grin...though he supressed it. "You know...I actually missed you too."

Arthur nodded lightly and slowly stood up to walk out of the kitchen. "Alright I'll see you in the arena then..." He let his voice trail off as he headed towards the door but noticed that Zahara went over and picked up Nym and Sevilin's map. Looks like her business is with Sevilin, though I'm not all that surprised those two have a lot going on between them than I actually know... It's not like Arthur wanted to know what goes on between the two, he just feels over shadowed sometimes by Sevilin every time he's around him and a bit jealous of how strong the man really is. With that it made Arthur feel a little bit like he could never be as good as he could be in anyone else eyes, and everytime he was around Zahara he could notice something in her eyes when she looked at the male drow which made him wonder of what was going on between them sometimes. With a light groan the young elf slowly made his way to his room to pick up his sword, he didn't feel like it was a big deal to carry it around all the time so he kept it in a special case he had made. When he got it he strapped the katana to his belt and slowly made his way to the arena to wait for Zahara so they can have their little battle. When he reached the doors Arthur didn’t go inside, instead he just waited outside leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest; his head bowed lightly as his eyes were closed and his ears twitching every so often to the movements around him.

"That's true. I don't think anyone on this plane, Andal or any other is as stubborn as I am." He gave in, usually to avoid a fight and she refused to. Never give up, never surrender. She shifted a bit on the rock then shook her head sliding off of it onto the dirt. "Good. Now I'm here and you dont' have to miss me anymore. Come sit." She patted the ground near her, wondering if he'd say anything about her sitting on the rock. If he didn't want her in the dirt she could go in and find a cloak or sit on his lap but that rock wasn't comfortable. Lifting one knee, she rubbed at the spot on the back of her leg where the rock had irritated the skin.

He watched her slide off the rock and back to the dirt...not quite sure why but she did. "I suppose you're right, being back and all. Though certinally not the woman that left here but a few scant months ago." A blink at her as she beckoned him to come sit next to her, but after a moment od decision, he moved to do just that, sitting crosslegged at her side. Thus they entered into a quiet moment it seemed...after all, he didn't want to say anything to upset her...and that wasn't just because of the baby.
Malik's silence to her question told her nothing but at least he stopped his little magical poking at her. At this rate, he would probably know before hand and be the one that was surprising her, not the other way around. She supposed she didn' t mind in the long run...she could be pregnant for weeks before she knew it herself. Then again she really didn't know if she would know easily or if she would just figure it out...she'd never done this before obviously. With a sigh she sat up in bed and brushed her hair over her shoulders before rifling through the bedside table drawer. New potion avoided the nosebleeds and other things, but she had to take it more often in smaller doses. Three times a day currently. Thus she took out one of those vials and downed the contents of it.

"I don't mind it being a surprise. and I do it for other reasons. trying to find other ways that might be of help in this particular area. been doing some minor necromantic experimenting on myself. you're not the only one that gets to be subject to ginea pigness."
A slight grin.
"Think we've given Sevilin and Zahara enough alone time? thier probably knee deep in runic arts or ignoring eachother, seeing as there's been only the one screaming outburst."

((Take Two))
The drow simply walked up to the main entrance and waited quietly for a drow or person to great him. He has been very short of paitence lately, as some employees have a knack for taking their dear, sweet time to do anything, so he was willing to count to ten before splattering the ogre guards alll over this side of the castle.
The gentle wind from the lake fluttered his white fur-like cloak about his figure, his arms remained concealled at his sides, two scimitar hilts poked out the opening in the front of the cloak. The right hilt was black, with a small topaz fitted into the pommel, surronded with what looked to be a leaf motiff. The left hilt had a golden pommel, that seemed rather un-impressive for a drow weapon.
His face was left exposed to the surroundings, his purple eyes marred by a rather hollow look, like a man who has killed to many people. The length of his hair could not be determinecd, but it was long enough to be tied into a braid and allowed to fall underneath the cloak. In the middle of his forehead sat a circlet with a rather deep green jewel.
Magical auras and runic waves floated around him, as tough he were a pole in a river. For magic sensing creatures, the ripple he created was either an absence of magic, or the centerfold of great energy.

"Is that a bad thing...?" she couldn't resist saying it softly before she sighed softly and let the quiet loom. Silence didn't bother her really. She was searching for something to either say or do and then she realized that there was no need for it. They could sit there in the silence together and not have to fill it up with idle chatter. They could just...be. At least until all of her senses went into high alert. There was a very big disturbance bothering her and she glanced at Sevilin first to see if he had noticed it and then over towards the gates. Oh look, Kimmuriel had come back to play. Joy.

And she stared at him...before slowly raising an eyebrow at him. Why did he have to tell her things like that...it was like telling your mother you were jumping off cliffs for the sheer thrill value. "Nice to know you've joined me in the realm of things unexpected and possibilities." Though a giggle on her part from induced chemical levels as well as the general humor value from him. "Ginuea pigness...that's cute..." But a sigh, tucking her hair behind her ears. "And they're still your favorite project aren't they?" Of course she was going to pick about it.
"No...it's not bad..." Thus silence ensued...but it wasn't the horrible silence that he hated it...felt full and comforting even. A silence that wasn't secretly a mute scream between his ears. Hm, that was a different thing noe wasn't it? But that silence was broken in a sense as his own magical senses spiked up at the feeling and he was on his feet in two seconds flat, standing slightly in front of Zahara. Could be a threat after all and he wasn't having that.

The drow shrugged, and posed his body in a bow like posture. The guards watched him bow, and then they watched their own heads fly over the walls, landing in the courtyard and stable. Obviously, if someone wont answer the door, you send a messanger into the keep to find someone. Since non-drow were not drow, their severed heads would be more able to send the request for an audiance.
The drow appeared to not have moved, yet the ogre guards would have to disagree.

He let his attention move over, only to see the little cause of flare...and it's immature actions...honesly. But Sevilin wasn't in the mood for him today...well, he was never in the mood for the drow who was always having to kill something for attention. He could just imagine all the attention his mother gave him.
A shift in the air and runic circles flicked to life, one under Sevilin, another under the drow who liked to spill blood so much. "Princeling...I warn you once." A look to Zahara a moment, "Stay here..." then walking more towards the drow he was keeping check on.

Malik smirked lightly..before an annoyance showed itself. necormancy detected two things that should have been alive, as now not.
"I bet that damned pest is back again."
Who else would assault his guards but Tarathiel. But he got up, and giving piper a small kiss.
"I'll see what grand scheme he's trying to put in motion this time."
However, Malik never went around that lunatic unarmed or undefended. so armor was on, Mavlolence on his hip, Ebony across his back.
"and they aren't. your my favorite project."
Before going down to the front doors and having them opened.
"I've been home three hours or so and already you're here to draw me into some plot. miss me or something?"

Sure, she got told to stay put. It had surprised her when she had to lean to the side to see him still at the gates. Sevilin was protecting her? Then it hit her, of course he was. He wasn't about to let her get hit, it might hurt his precious baby that she was currently caring. She decided to let him win for now, though she tensed up and kept her hand right near the dagger still on her thigh. She had magics and weapons of her own she could strike with if it got out of hand. A shake of her head, severed heads. Malik was goign to love that, wasn't he? She bit back a warning to Sevilin to be careful and merely leaned back, eyes peeled at everything going on.

The drow seemed to not care that the runes formed beneath him, "You smell like a panzy." The drow replied. "Of course I missed you, Malik. I could use a good laugh."

She frowned lightly. Well wasn't that a wonderful welcome home present from Labyrinth herself. Made her want to just...bash her head against the wall with joy. But she merely sighed and then slipped out of bed, pulling some clothes on as well as her surcoat and merely moving out of the room to the top of the stairs to listen.
Yes, that was very very intimidating wasn't it? He personally didn't care of the reaction he got, he was merely doing what he was supposed to do and his job was to assist in this place...whether he wished it burned to the ground or something like that wasn't really the point. But he merely came to stand on the opposide side of him from where Malik was standing, crossing his arms lightly. No, he wasn't going to dignify his little comment with an answer or a come back, what honor was in that?

"Do tell. What grand scheme can I oblige you with this time for humor value? going to ask me to slay a dragon, or invade Deepwater? Maybe you want me to go kill off Jaraxle or attempt to storm the city of your birth."
Sarcasm, gotta love it.
"and asking them to do something does work. you don't need to behead them. thier fairly expensive to replace. Or is this another 'I've brought an army for the single purpose of trying to get you to duel me' thing?"
