Once again, I find my way, to a place I've been before. With no clue to just how long I'll stay, or if it'll excite or bore. And once again, I'll issue forth, a challenge for the elite, to step forward and prove their worth, or by a novice perhaps be beat.

I see I've gained an infamy, then in that case I'll strive to not disappoint. And as for the state of being for me, overall ordinary, somewhat boring if I may cut to the point. I've been busying myself honing my trade, finding new combos and decks. All in the hopes that it will give me aid, when I find my opponent the next. 'Twould seem not many within these hallowed halls, are prepared to face my unique challenge. Whether that means they know they would fall, or perhaps simply find it all too strange, I cannot say. But I'll try anyway. And in return, I mirror the question back to you, dear doctor. How fare ye this day? Are you feeling joyous, or perhaps grim and blue? Are you full of the spirit of November or May?

Very well, Mythic, then let us fight! We'll set forth our cards and duel into that blackest night! We'll let the strength of our decks prove just who is right! And who is the weaker, who has the might! The location is tantamount in any battle, true. But in some, the choice is ephemeral, so I leave it to you. First, we must decide the nature of our duel. Shall it be via monsters, magic or school? Shall it be the creatures who we must catch them all? Or shall it be the dreams we see when we fall?
(Yes, my unique challenge is with card games. Pick your poison- MtG, YGO, PokeMon, Magi Nation, anything else?)

Fill my heart with song Magic the Gathering if you will, and I prefer to play with no set restrictions if that's fine by you, how do we prove that we truly own the cards we use? Let me sing for ever more.

Then so it shall be, Planeswalkers are we! As for how we prove we have the cards we say, simple trust, who would lie anyway? It's just a game, cheating's no fun, if you have to do so, can you really say you've won? And yes, I was hoping you would not care for set restrictions. My own decks are outdated due to wallet constrictions. You can probably guess the build I most favor, it may not win often, but each win I savor.
(I forgot the url for the site that has an encyclopedia of all MtG cards, that will likely come in handy for one or both of us.)

Fill my heart with song Ah, agreed though trusting me may be hard, I happen to be quite aged, and so are my cards, alpha and beta, a poison close to unbeat but you wouldn't step up, unless you could handle the heat Let me sing for ever more.

Alpha and Beta, indeed that's quite dated! If that's when you started then you surely are jaded. My own eyes have not glossed over from the eons gone past, since the Moxes were hot, like a Fireball's blast!
(Ah, thanks. I was thinking of Gatherer, but that should work even better. So where should we duel?)

Well the location doesn't really matter, really just wherever you want to gain words. As for the how, how I've done it is simply typing everything out. It might be a little unwieldy, but links could make it faster. Whether you type "I tap 1G, play Birds of Paradise" or something more drawn out, it really doesn't make a difference, as long as it makes sense.
(Personally, I would probably do something like:
I draw Play Mountain Tap M, G and G for -creature-
And then you could post with an interrupt if you wished. As well, instant chats can make it even easier, but then we wouldn't earn words. Yet. (I may try to take care of that with Sliver's next made-up.))
