After reading chapter 1... I don't get it. It seems exceptionally standard. Even moreso than I'd expect something bland and unimaginative to be, it's like it's going out of its way to fall into every common niche I can think of in that genre. Also, I never owe posts to anyone, ever. Except JB and Maxi. Just not now.

I know how you feel, Jello, but I ended up giving it a chance just to see what other weird "banchou" they came up with, and now I'm actually quite interested. I'm just able to have fun with typical shounen things.
I've been reading it since last night, and now I'm on chapter 38.

Oh yeah. I guess that means you're waiting on JB.
In fact, I think JB mentioned a shadelord is watching Tenkai. ._.

He's in ur base, killin' ur shades.
I just don't really want to devote myself to reading 8 volumes of mediocre crap on the off-chance that there will be a few pages that are interesting amidst a few hundred pages of "I've seen this before... it was done better in seventeen other series".

Damnatus Now THAT is a spectacular series. How long does it take to get spectacular? I watched 10 episodes. It was incredibly boring. Well themed, I suppose... but nothing happened. And the "oh my god... you're a MONSTER" moments were unimpressive. It's like I'm supposed to be shocked and appalled that this guy, which I called in the first episode, was a serial killer.

Jello is easily bored. x.x
I haven't read Monster, but I have seen bits of it on Chiller's Ani-Monday. I haven't been able to follow it properly but it does look interesting, and is voiced by my favorite voice actors.
I was reading another manga made by the same author, called Billy Bat, that also happens to be very interesting.

Tenkai Matsumoto Jello is easily bored. x.x I think that's the biggest thing. I like to see things that are good, but at this point what I really want to see is just something different. I've willingly watched shitty shows for entire seasons just because they were different enough that I couldn't tell you how they would end from seeing the first 2 episodes.

I get bored reading manga.
The only ones I've ever bothered to TRY and follow were Baki, the karate one Silver had, and some other one that I don't remember the name of.
Other than that.. eh, too lazy usually.
