What it boils down to is, imo, basic needs.
Do you have shelter (which includes a sense of safety from harm), do you have food, are you surviving?
If you have that, then you move onto higher things... like friends, family, support, acceptance, meaningful activities, self-confidence.
If you establish it, and you have to work at it to establish it, then you have 'love' and you are 'home'.
But most people feel and are disconnected from everyone around them, and so they feel isolated at times, and definitely lonely.

I know I'm suffereing from post tramatic stress dissorder, have been since my mother died 11 years ago sweatdrop ... the robbery just kicked in a few of the symptoms I had managed to overcome >< that kinda pisses me off but I have too many messed up reletives to subscribe to meds, so I will continue to avoid the annoying therapist who thinks all can be fixed with a few expensive chats and a pill twice daily and the poem is not a quote, every once in a while I actualy managed to write something interesting, I wrote a beautiful piece for my mom... she never got to hear it
