Mini that sounds awful. But there's hope, a couple of my roommates last year had to go through student teaching and they wanted to rip out their hair for first month of it, but I promise it gets better. Good Luck!
I also got a new egg before I maxed out my hatchlings Got it! biggrin

Willa-Wisp General question to all ...
Has anyone been able to breed a sunRISE dragon lately? I've been trying in vain to breed one and keep getting sunsets regardless of the time of day the egg was bred. And I've tried various combinations of pairings. I'd like to get one sunrise to complete my group of 3 pairs.
I swear it seems to be getting more difficult to breed some of these dragons. *sigh* Suggestions? confused Haven't tried, but it took me a LONG time to get that Shallow Water. Do you know what the Splash does? The Splash doesn't actually do anything. It's a cute little thing TJ made up. So, it just splashes. Nice. sunrise/sunset dragon are different from night and day glory drakes in that they time the egg is laid doesn't determine which dragon they will be, rather the time of day that they hatch. if it's between 6 am and 12pm eastern time, then it will be a sunrise. so if your egg is close to hatching but not in the time frame you need, it's best to fog it. had to do that in order to get my sunrise. ^^ Thanks for the info, Bret! I thought the time it was laid was the determining factor, just like the glories. Will give that a try. biggrin I think I'm gonna make a note about this in the Dragon Dictionary. 3nodding This is helpful stuff indeed!

Just saw a CB Silver egg!!!! I stared at the description: "This egg gives off a beautiful glow" for just too many seconds, and someone else scooped it up!
eek Wow. I haven't seen one in the Cave in a very long time.

I haven't seen any metallics in the Cave in many, many months. Breeding them is getting nearly impossible but I get lucky at times.
And the silvers are one of my favorites, too. They are gracefully drawn. biggrin

Thanks for the support, guys! I had to wake up real early to go up for Practicum today, brave the horrible snowy roads with my dad (who drove me~) and my supervisor doesn't even show up, so they sent all of the kids who have her as a supervisor home after an hour of going over what a lesson plan is (I THINK I KNOW THAT ALL READY, BY THE WAY. JUST SAYING. JUST LIKE I ALL READY KNOW HOW TO DRESS PROFESSIONALLY, TOO. scream ) I'll keep y'all up to date with how it goes. I start on Tuesday, so wish me luck! x_x
Now then, I'm gonna go tidy up the Dragon Dictionary, cuz I was looking at it a few days ago and saw some random sprites I'm missing here and there... and maybe one day I'll get the egg description thing done, too. Maybe that day will be today! cool
Edit: Photobucket isn't letting me upload pictures of the gifs for the female streak dragons. Oh wait... well, I got white and red to work, but blue and green won't. That doesn't make any sense at all... can someone pretty please perhaps try to upload pics of a female green and/or blue streak dragon, then maybe post them in the Dragon Dictionary if they work so I can use them? Thank you so much! Other than that, I got a LOT done (didn't know I needed that much work done on it, but wow, I was slacking. I didn't even have the 2010 Valentine's dragons up! o_o;; )
Sounds like some of your profs like to jerk around the students like some of the ones my younger son deals with in grad school. I ran into the similar situations in nursing school too. Doesn't make things right but it gives you a good example of what not to do. As for the student teaching, you're going to be great, Mini! Keep working hard and hang in there! biggrin

If you execute the Splash action enough times, you will earn the Magikarp badge. I hadn't kept tally of how many times I had done so to earn it, though.

From the Dragon Cave Wiki:
"Shallow Waters have a breed specific action called Splash (Type: Normal / PP: 1/40) that does absolutely nothing (if the ACTIONS page is refreshed, it'll use STRUGGLE as a result of running out of PP). This is a joke in reference to the Pokèmon Magikarp. After using Splash 100 times, the users will gain a Magikarp badge on their scroll. Only a few users knew about this but thanks to Fenixus, who mentioned it during the last new release, a lot of people began using this BSA in the hope of gaining this badge. "I couldn't find the wait time for each splash action to be available again. Anyone?
