I'd teach people to sword, but then I remember you all hate katanas. :/

Spear construction comes first. After that is done. I'm buying axes. Maybe one for Fen too since he asked.

Flutter - Yeah, I plan to get over there eventually. There's several places I want to see - England and Italy only two of which, and popular places to start off with then branch out. 3nodding
Still can't argue with those prices I found and the cheap shipping. Only wish that express was available for International. D:

Tenkai Matsumoto I'd teach people to sword, but then I remember you all hate katanas. :/ Listen, all this negativity is bad for your health! *Nudges towards happier thoughts* =D And the only reason there is so much bias against Katanas around here is cause of how badly they're abused in roleplay and how most Japan-obsessed folks fawn over them and go on and on about how badass they are supposedly when they're just another type of sword - one that serves a very different style of combat. (By japan obsessed I mean the teeny boppers who think Japan is all manga and pocky and that J-pop and Inuyasha will teach them the language XD) Any weapon or what have you can be bad in the wrong hands. It just so happens that Katanas are popular for those who don't know what they're doing.

No, Kat. He IS Japan-obsessed.
He's always typing in japanese,
and the guy gets mad over a guy mispronouncing "Retsu".

It's not just katanas. I dislike scimitars and the like, too. Not a big fan of falchions either, but they get a pass for having a pretty cool name.
Sabers, any sort of "thrusting" sword, not a huge proponent of them either.
GIMME SOMETHING I CAN PUT TWO HANDS ON AND IS CAPABLE OF CRUSHING WHATEVER I CAN'T CUT.

I like weapons that don't have ammunition to them.
I hate the idea of running out of bullets before I run out of things to shoot.

That logic should only apply to video games and why you choose the warrior over the mage.
You put me in a real life situation and I'm taking the damn gun.

No, there's a difference between someone like Tenkai and the weirdos you find everywhere else on Gaia who are saving up for a trip to Japan, take Japanese language classes, think Anime can teach them the language and think the culture is nothing more than reading manga, eating pocky and saying "desu" all the time. A pretty big difference if you ask me.
