xd Oh yes, he tells me many of my posts should have chapters. He freaks out especially when he sees the ones that you can scroll to the middle of and see neither the avitar nor the bottom. Of course, he stops bugging me about how long it takes me to post when he sees those too. I just feel bad putting up less than three to four lines in a post. I'm not sure why...

I know. For some reason I'm having trouble making longer posts recently, maybe a bit of a writer's block. Which is simply perfect, as I've finally got time for Gaia while other people are online, and the novels I am attempting to write. They're not going to get much done today. Sorry if my posts are too big, I guess what I need to do is just put detail in on what he's doing, and stop saying what he's thinking unless it's actuall thought in the italics. That should cut things down to just what needs to be done. You say they scared you, but weren't you the one who said how much you'd enjoyed reading the Rivven/Charles match, in which I had... almost entirely huge posts?
And here I am getting carried away and typing too much again. It's easy to do sometimes.

They scared me, but didn't scare me away. I'm mainly a semi literate person, but sometimes if it's a particularily emotional scene or one that's going to have a plot twist then I make it longer. I think Kia and Wed did the same thing with Stitches and Needles. And you're not rambling, I'm reading it all!

Well, I've been in plenty of roleplays where details became extremely important, so I'm used to writing everything out. Once I had a character in a military rp leave a hospital wing and go to the cafeteria, and then there was an attack, and I realized that he wouldn't even have his personal weapons with him if he'd just come from there or even his clothes, as I had him pulling a handgun out of his cloak. I posted an oops about that post right after, but not before some experienced roleplayer who typed faster got in a big post chewing me out about it. Things like that happened once or twice more, and I saw they were pretty much right, so I like to put in details to remind myself what I'm doing, as well as make sure no one mistakes my actions (which also used to happen alot) for something else.

Understandable, but depending upon what kind of character you where you could have reasonably pulled off having a pistol on you, lets look at some basic facts which some of them may be wrong. Your at war and while you may be in what is considered "safe" ground your character may still be paranoid to carry around a side arm. This would make more sense depending upon what type of soldier you are, if you where basic infantry then no you wouldn't, an officer, yes, a crew member on a multi person weapon such as a mortar or MG, most likely. Although pulling a gun from a coat pocket when your a military personal. *whaps* that's just idiotic you would have had it holster like any sane person. Didn't they teach you anything in grunt school.

I'm glad things are going well around here. That, and the tourney is flowing pretty smoothly (cannot wait for round two). And, out of curiousity, who are the people pictured in the new portrait on the main page?
Hope to be around more often.... when it's not two in the morning..... ^_^

There are a lot of people, but none of them are supposed to be either of our characters. Oh, and Charles still owes Rivven his chain back, and Rivven he a free drink at the bar he now runs.
And I don't know what's going on with the tournament... did everyone lose interest? I'm not even competing and I want to see it keep going. I know Quils has been on from time to time, and I've seen Dice waiting around for him every now and then, so why don't they just pm Dice and Quils, and have them both start the match? I mean, if we can't get people to fight the remaining matches they're supposed to be part of, we should figure something out... not that Rivven's personal storyline won't soon be providing plenty of fighting for anyone whom wants to join in.

They've been pmed, several times. I think it wold be best to cancel them, or at least disqualify Dice. Welcome back Chauffeur, I know Rivven Quils Kiasys and Cloud are coming in the the next picture. It's mainly for very active members, but now that you're back you might get added.

I'm going to be in the next picture? Well, that'll be something to look forward to, especially comparing how I picture/draw Rivven to how someone else does. I get this sinking feeling though that they'll just totally forget the coat, because my avi resembles Rivven but doesn't have one. It's been done in everypicture I've seen done of him up until now, including that little tiny pic in that new BA signature Kitsy got. Has that one been put up in the advertisements thread? I haven't seen it there, and probably wouldn't use it if it was, but I was wondering about that.
