Flightless Butterfly Clash of the Titans looks like it's going to be good. It better be, I'm going to see it Saturday.

No class today. Time to play Rome: Total War for like ten hours straight.

Guhhhh...I hate ambient noises. I keep thinking my computer or some other machine is making them, and I start shitting bricks thinking something's breaking.
Anyhow, I beat Dante's Inferno. The ending was interesting, albeit confusing.

Heh, after having my pc on overnight for like 6 years, I can't sleep without it on now. I hear every little noise and it keeps me up half the night. I need the soothing sound of the fan to sleep. =P

I'm like that with my standing fan. If I can't hear it, sometimes I cannot sleep.
A running shower has the same affect on me. I could turn on the shower and sleep in the bathroom.
Constant ambient sounds are nice. Random/in and out ones suck. Like birds. Or construction.

I sleep with headphones on to drown out everything else.
I'd kill for some genuine peace and quiet.

*Case of whiskey mysteriously disappears*
Yeah, random ones are annoying. Now that I think about it I could probably sleep with a shower on.

From ages 6 to 22 I slept next to a freeway. Cars, trucks downshifting, sirens, "get out of the vehicle" over loudspeakers, helicopters, and the occasional crash couldn't wake me up.
But the sound of a ticking clock would keep me awake all night. But I think it just feeds into the constant ambient sounds that Darth mentioned, because any loud sound that I wasn't used to, like construction, would wake me up.
Of course the same goes for my apartment when they start cutting down trees or something across the street at 6 AM.
