Landing on the deck of the airship Zetsuei knelt back down to let Maki hop off his back.
"Maki, you havent lost me. I have been with you the whole time even if you didnt know it."

"First I need to get some bandages for my wound. Remember?" Chase replied simply walking on to the main streets as she stuck her hands into her pockets. "You stick to the shadows like that you don't blend in. You don't blend in you stand out. You stand out... well get the idea," She said, intended on finding a shop that had medical supplies she could purchase.

risa followed the ragged knight shown by candle light through the castle halls and to the docks keeping close to yarsea. this man seemed honest enough and working for the queen but there were plenty of people good at deceiving those around them. following him risa spoke quietly to yarshea giving her reassurance then look ed about the place.
"i hope the others will be ok without us for a while. but this is a thing i must do"
the docks were close now and risa spoke out to the man.
"knight do you believe president kali is responsible for the conflict?"

soon the wall had melted a circler hole and squirm stepped through finding himself in long winding stairways. it led down to darkness and up to light, right now squirm just wanted out of the castle away from these guards who wanted to show him nothing but harm and figure out what that old croan had done to him and why he felt so stronger. he could see and feel his appearance had changed but it was much more than that and he felt it deep inside of him.
looking to the light squirm grabbed his spear under one arm just in case of trouble and sprinted up into the fresh air out of the long deep tunnels running with out a stop till he reached freedom and climbing all the stone stairs and pillars of the castle till he could reach the very peak of the towers and look down from the castle wall.
"strange.."

Yarshe nodded.
"I'm sure they're fine"
she replied optimistically while trying to keep a brave face. This was a very big thing they were getting into and she earnestly decided that she was going to help Risa all the way in her mission.

Maki climbed down from Zetsuei's back and blushed.
"Thank you," she said before looking around for Shinja. "Can we wait for Shinja for a little bit?"

He said as his wings vanished and he made his way over to the control room door
"We cant wait too long though"
Zetsuei said as he opened the door and walked inside the airship and waited for Maki to enter.

"Okay," Maki replied watching Zetsuei walk towards the control room door and then turned around to look down at the kingdom of Avardia below them and sighed. "Where are you Shinja?"
She looked down in hopes of seeing Shinja down there somewhere.

Sitting there listening to the Kyana and the kingdoms travels they nodded. It was only when Kali's name was spoken that their body went ridged.
Confusion and worry clouded their eyes. Tilting their head down they looked at their hands as the fidgeted with th last button on Chey's shirt.
"Kali, The last I saw of her was in the dragon's kingdowm. Two others travel and I used to travel with her, with the occassional fifth person after the power of a summon to control. Or something.
Said it she was a pawn of Anima or her powers were also anima's. I can't quite recall."
As Chey's voice filtered through the room retelling that of which came to her memory they fell quite again before another voice began to talk.
"Kyana, We beleive that Chey's body would only be abloe to host mine for a month or two if we're lucky. As to why exactly it was you we requested to see is more or less something Chey wanted to find out for herself."
Nightmare prodded chey's mind for her to speak about it, even if He did not wish her to find out how deep it went.
With a sigh Chey spoke, thi time with eagerness and hope in her voice.
"When I travelled with you, I noticed how you used Kanji as a form to invoke and cast your magic.
So you being a Kanji Mage I was wondering whether or not you could help me deciphere the spell cast on me since before I could remember."
By saying this they turned around and ripped open the back of Chey's shirt to show the the tattoo like kanji script running down the back of their spine.

Letting Maki have her time alone and making his way over to the control chair, Zetsuei pulled up a holographic image of new gaia and began to plot their course.
"She really is worried about Shinja, but how knows when he will show up again."
Zeteusi said to himself as he slipped his coat off and lay it on the back of the control chair.

As Maki leaned forward looking over the rail down at Avardia a strange memory surfaced and a song echoed in her memory. She had a small child in her arms ... a younger version of Shinja smiling at her ... then it faded.
The song had a nice calming sound to it and she began mimicking the song by humming it to herself.

katrea looked over to risa as they got on the boat and people started to untie it from the dock.
"call me katrea, and I didn’t ask for it the president started this war. well i was there and her ship did fire down on us. From that, she declared war, so from my point of view she did.
katrea looked down at the water, the boat's engine started up and moved out.
"sorry if you didn't want to hear it but in short, yes, her and her people started this."

taras nodded and walked around the streets keeping to shadows waiting for chase to find a shop. he walked around and found a ladder to the roof of one of the buildings. he climbed it and looked over the roof tops. there where planks connecting some of them to each other. it would make his life easier if he kept to the high roof tops unseen by the people of the town.
he looked down at chase holding on the chimneys and keeping in there shadows.

risa sat down on deck resting on her knees, she didn't want to believe what this katrea was saying but she knew it to be true. the look in kalis eyes that day made that clear. risa turned her head up to look at the man smiling half heartedly.
"i am risa and the young girl with me is yarshea. we will train with you as hard as possible just as long as you know my reasons behind it. i want to put a stop to what kali is doing, that is all"
risa looked over the stranger as the boat drifted.
"tell me, if you dont mind me asking. what do all those bandages cover up, the scars from battle?"

Yarshe sat down as well, following Risa's example and stayed quiet as she and Katrea talked.
She looked at the surrounding dim area as they sailed by until Risa brought up the subject of Katrea's bandages. She was curious about them as well and watched the knight with interest as she waited for him to answer.
