A small pained smile came to Cole's lips when Saki mentioned sorrow. If Saki only knew the hardships he had endured through out his life...
"Saki, I have know enough sorrow to last generations. A lesser being would've given up and ended it all to escape the pain, but I do not have that option."

Saki looked at him, unsure of what to make of him. "My mother always said those who have honey in their mouths often have stings in their tails," she said. She took a breath. "My uncle trusted you with all his heart. I'm not making a mistake when i do the same?" she smiled, and held out her arms. "I... understand if you don't want to, but I'm not a handshake person." she smiled, beckoning him to hug her.

A softer smile came to Cole's lips as he looked at Saki. She had a kind spirit for one so young. Cole stepped close to Saki and hugged her to him gently. An random thought crossed Cole's mind as he hugged Saki, Wonder if she would be so willing to hug me if she knew what I really was? Wonder if she knows what she is?

Saki closed her eyes and took in the warmness of his hug. She smiled. Her eyes opened her eyes when a weird feeling came over her. She looked up at him. "Are you... okay? It seems like... i don't know. FOr a second i thought... you had your mind on other matters."

Cole raised and eye brow as he looked at Saki. Had she actually felt his thoughts? This was certainly a new development, perhaps her powers had not yet manifested themselves.
"I'm fine Saki. May I ask you a question? Have you ever had the feeling as if you could feel what people were thinking before?"

Travis looked toward the gate as he felt a disturbance in space itself. He saw the wall compress and he spotted the figure with green hair. He pulled Ceox free and teleported over.

*Hikari sits down among the flowers and breathes in their scent. She began naming the flowers she was identifying by their smell. The Pagoda was very quiet. She could hear the insects busying themselves with their work. It was bad of her, but she had been so lazy lately...there just wasn't much going on around her, it instilled her with a desire to also do nothing. She hadn't even spoken to anyone in ages. She decided to at least go fix something proper to eat*

Saki took a breath, surprised and startled by the question. "Uh.. once in a while, yes," she said, eying him a bit warily. "Does this have anything to do with my Uncle's sword, or is there something he hasn't told me?" she asked.

Another smirk crossed Cole's lips as Saki answered his question and asked her own... Strongwright... you never told her did you? Cole thought to himself as he looked at Saki. With a sigh, Cole decided to tell Saki directly of her heritage...
"Saki, your family bloodline is different then most. And no, it's not do to your sword, I should know, I made it."

Taking a deep breath, Cole looked Saki directly in her eyes and held her gaze. His usually soft, gentle face took on a tone of seriousness before he spoke...
"Saki Akatsu, you are she who is of the Strongwright clan, the one with the blood of demons flowing through her. The one who shares the same fate of the Demon Clan Iquphillianne and now Ethren. You are a demoness Saki, just like I am in fact a demon."
When Cole finished, he took a step back from Saki to allow her some air and space to take in what he had just told her.

Saki's smile vanished and her eyes widened. SHe blinked three times in succession. "I'm.... a what?"

Cole let out a sigh and shook his head slightly. Cole had hoped Saki would've believed him without having to demonstrate it to her. He gentle reached out his hand and held it in front of her. Within his hand, a black ball of flame ignited and hovered over his palm. Cole held it out to Saki...
"Look within the flame Saki... all shall be revealed..."
When Saki looked into the flame, a realm of darkness was show to her. The landscape was blood red, cracked and torn and it seemed to be alive and yet it wasn't... Demons roamed the land that Saki saw. Images of her uncle and mother appeared within the flame. They were both walking through this hellish realm and seemed to fit in with the scenery as if they belonged there...

Saki closed her eyes as a wave of nausea swept over her. She put her hand to her forehead, falling into Cole's arms. "M..My mom....."

Cole held Saki close and help her to sit on the near by bench as he held onto her. He knew this was a lot to take in all at once but there was no other way. She needed to know the truth so that she could learn to control what's inside of her instead of it controling her...
