Durithill the Black Blade Captain

Durithill laughed. "That blow hard can yell all he wants. I ain't leaving you unless I'm forced too. Durimiros isn't getting close again." he said, and he seemed to melt into Raine's shadow. His presence could be felt, but Raine's amulet gave off the same essence so Durithill knew there was a good chance Rathios would not know he was there.

A gentle giggle passed her lips as Durithill had merged with her own shadow. "I can handle myself." She spoke aloud, though she wished him not to leave. Raine pulled her arms behind her back as her lightening wings had folded against her back and disapearred when she approached the library.
Stepping into the report-filled room, Raine's eyes shot directly to Veronica. What the hell was she doign here!? "Rathios, I demand an explanation!" She bellowed as her brows furrowed. What right did she have looking at the reports? They were for council eyes only.
Veronica lifted her eyes from the current report on Durithill and locked on the woman that had walked in. Raine. She had returned so quickly, why? "Ohh, Raine. Good, you've returned." She said to her, dropping the thick file onto the table.

"I've hired her to work directly under the council for a time. We need more information on Durithill, and who better than a demonic demon hunter?" Rathios said smoothly, as if this had really been what happened. "Great, more people after me." said Durithill's sarcastic voice in Raine's head.

"Hir--" Veronica screeched, though being cut off b y Raine's comment.
"Without consulting me?" Sherio asked hasrshly, feeling quite left out on this little scheme of capturing Durithill. "I'd like an agreement next time, it's nice to know what's happening around here.. We don't need her." Raine's eyes shifted over to Veronica, she saw here before... but where. My apologies.. She thought, answered Durithill's statment.
"Hmph.. I think you do. I figured you would have had that reched demon captured by now, he's not all that difficult. You need some assistance--"
"I told you, we do not need your help." Ah! That's where she was from, the bar. Durithill had been talking to her-- What did she want with him?

"It's not as if I'm not used to it." said Durithill's laughing voice in her head. "My apologies, Lady Raine, but as you can tell we haven't managed to kill or even trap Durithill. If we are to stop him from killing, we need to take action. As for me not consulting you, if I consulted you on ever matter that presented itself before us we'd still be working on the demon rebellion of well over fivr thousand years ago." Rathios said as he finished correcting another report and picked up yet another.

Still... This guy's a jerk. "Hmph-- Like you would have done better. Do not bring up past issues with the present. I'd like to be consulted before any firther issues have been made." Raine growelled. "As for the reports, did anything new come in?"
((Be right back.))

"Nothing since the excitement of a little while ago, but that is far from unusual." Rathios said with a shrug. "His previous actions often hold a pattern of attacks, then a short respite in which he disappears." "That may be true, but you hired him." Durithill pointed out.

Thanks for the positive boost.. "I see.." She spoke, breaking from her thoughts. Raine wasn't sure wheather she should tell Rathios about her encounter not too long ago... Durimiros must have been playing as Durithill the whole time.
Durithill? She questioned him in thought. "Should I tell Rathios what had happened? He may stop chasing you, I am only seeking your permission.

"Somehow I don't think he'd believe you even if you did tell him, but go ahead if you feel like it." Durithill replied.

"Rathios," Raine started as Veronica took up another file, but was listening intently. "What if I told you about an incedent that had occured today?" Raine asked the blind man beside her. "I'm debating on whether or not you'd believe me though.." Shiero rose her hand to her chin and began to walk a bit. Her heels tapped against the marble floor beneath her as she walked to a comfortable looking chair nestled between two thick-spined book shelved.

"Whether or not I believe you depends entirely on if you tell me or not, doesn't it?" Rathios said, almost as a joke. "But I'll reserve my judgement untill after you decide to tell me whatever it is."

((My apologiess!! I was unexpectedly dragged to paint my brother's son's room. >< Well, soon to be born son.D':))
Raine crossed her arms over her chest, swinging her feet a little bit. "What if I told you those reports were all false?" She asked him, closing both of her eyes-- not that he would be able to see anyway. He was blind after all. "What if these reports were survallencing the wrong individual?"
Veronic's eyes seemed to have widened. Lifting her head, she shot her eyes back down to the 'false' reports she was reading. That can't be right... She thought to herself. These were proved to have been Duirthill..-- The description fits perfectly... Unless..

"And you know who this "individual" is?" Rathios said, still not looking up as he 'fixed' the reports.

Raine nodded. "Yes." She replied in a tone slightly higher than a whisper. ".." She allowed a small bit of silence before she spoke up again. "..If you believe me, it was his father.." Raine shifted her eyes to make sure a certain someone wasn't paying attention, though, it was quite obvious she was. "...Durimiros..." She leaned in and whispered in his ear. Many-- no, possibly all people knew who Durithill's father was. But Raine spoke the word like it was poisionous... forbidden.

Rathios seemed to ponder this interesting fact for a moment before he spoke. "You're right, I don't believe you." he said simply.
