*shifts a bit in her seat, looking a bit embarrassed* More than anything else I recall thinking I had te save Will. I can remember concentrating, trying to picture the room I'd been in . . . *sighs, frustrated* I dinna know that I've the slightest knack for this magic, or whate'er it may be.

You've got a natural talent for this, Maggie... You just don't realize it yet. The way that your mind works, the way that you percieve the world around you... You were MADE for this ability... Or perhaps the ability was made for you. In either case, you can do it, and much more. All you need is the voracity to want to achieve a mastery over it.

I do want to be able te do this, te help . . . but I dinna e'en understand what it is that I can do. *makes a helpless gesture* All I know is I was here, and concentrating . . . then it felt as though everything was twisted about, and I had the glass in my hand.

But certainly you know where the glass was, didn't you. And more importantly, you knew WHEN the glass was. See? THAT is the basis of the entire thing. The understanding of when and where an object is. By realizing that you can control an aspect of those two things, the power you thereby wield is phenominal.

That's right. With training you'll be able to search through your memories, in a way, catalog everywhere you've been, and be able to pick things out that you never even realized where there. With more practice, you'll be able to pick out things in a broader area. Even things that you never even saw.

No. I don't think that you are. I KNOW that you are. Maggie, I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to train you unless I was certain without a shadow of a doubt that you were able to learn and use this power. I can see your potential. It glows from you, like a brilliant light. You just have to see it in yourself, that's all... But I can't do that for you. I can show you the door, its up to you to step through it.

That's all anyone could ever ask for, my dear. That's all anyone could ask. Now, tell me. Do you need some time to prepare yourself to resume the training, because it can get a bit intense. Just say so, no harm done, and we can delay the training until a later time.

[Maggie could probably handle sticking around to practice, but I, on the other hand, have to meet with a teacher tomorrow morning before class sweatdrop So I'd better not get into it right now. Rain check?]
