Thank you to all those who contributed to the list. This is absolutely not all my own genius. If you come up with any more, please feel free to message me and I'll add it! This post will be linked in the Fun Brink Stuff thread. Now, without further adue...!

-You wake up from sound sleep screaming "POSTED!!"

-you make a pie chart of who makes the most posts... and it turns out you make up 25% of them.

-you write music and create art based soley on the brink

-you spend hours psychoanalyzing the characters when you get together in person with other players

-you've met the players in person

-you call the players interchangably by their own and their characters names

-you suddenly resent clocks...

-you respond to your character's name

-you've put hours imagining obscure little details about your characters backstory that you will probably never actually get into in chat

-you're thinking of converting to a religion based on views expressed in the brink

-half the songs you hear on the radio remind you of the brink somehow . .

-you're thinking of naming your children after your favorite characters

-...you have children just so you can raise them to be just like the characters...

-sleep has become a thing of the past

-you dress up like your character on a normal basis

-you've eaten apples WHOLE

-Radishes seem to appear out of no where...and this does not seem at all out of place to you.

-You're blood/alchohol level has gone up a whole lot.

-you've built a bar in your home.

-you have trouble sleeping through the night when you're character is going through a stressful part in their development

-you know all the lyrics to "The Tic Toc Stops Tonite" by Serenity Kent

-your daily routine involves checking to make sure you haven't missed anything in the brink

-sad RPs make you cry

-you make lists like this one ninja

-during long meetings and boring classes, you find yourself wishing you could 'brink out'

-thinking about a character you hate causes you serious distress.

-you have more than one character

-you have more than two characters...

-I bet you don't know what time it is...

-You shy away from big groups IRL because you know no one is going to keep post order.

-you spend significant amounts of time staring off into space imagining scenes that might never even happen

-you already know how you're going to retire your character.

-you feel like a bad person for putting your character through tough times.

-you have people fighting over who will father your character's children.

-you play pranks in game.

-you've been turned on during the game.

-you convince people who don't play to read along.

-people you've never met call out your character's name and give you giant hugs.

-your signifigant other is jealous of the characters.

-your signifigant other is one of the characters.

-you can't seem to get through a conversation without bringing it up.

-you try talking to people who don't play and feel bitter that they don't understand any of your references.

-you know your favorite characters beverage and brand.

-your character is not the same gender as you.

-your character doesn't speak the same language as you.

-you know how to write in your characters native alphabet, even though its entirely made up.

-I bet you know your character's birthday.

-you have erotic dreams about Lucas Blaize and/or Kara.

-your finger hurts from hitting the refresh button.

-copy and paste is your best friend.

- you start worrying about your big problems in life only to realize they're your characters problems.

-You fully expect, at any moment, for a bleeding angel to land in your living room.

-You think about how, if you ever showed up in the brink, you wouldn't skip a beat.

-You open your fridge and are disappointed when you can't find exactly what you wanted...and you get mad when the local library doesn't have the book you're looking for.

-you wake up in the middle of the night and think you've appeared in the brink...but then realize that it's just really dark.

-you start greeting people as "Hello, Citizen. I am Diana from the house of Lampe. State your name and status"

-Other people chart their worth in The Brink by playing "Six Degrees to You"

-You enter and exit rooms IRL by stating that you are doing so.

-You rabidly keep track of what everyone says, hoping to get the precious 1000th interval.

-People have called you at your home to try and coerce you to play your character with them.

-You get thrown out of bars because you never pay the tab.

-You and your friends spend hours pouring over books at Borders, looking for new material for your characters.

-You can swear and speech in the same languages as your characters, a talent only acquired after you started playing those characters.

-You can recognize a new face in the Brink as an old poster simply by the way they write.

-You do know what time it is, and what that means in terms of how much longer you can be up posting without screwing up your schedule the next day or incurring the wrath of other people.

-When in a big group IRL, you imagine how they would RP in the Brink.

-You spend large amounts of time thinking about how to injure characters you hate that are causing you serious IRL distress.

-You feel bad when real life prevents you from posting.
