Saeki lay passed out for a few hours before he started to stir and wake up slowly. He was uncertain of what happened to him but when he moved he could feel a sting of pain shoot through his head and he still felt weakened and hot. The young man shivered, feeling cold but despite all that he forced himself to get up. Aki still hadn’t stopped barking and Saeki became aware of that now. He picked up the staff, used it to push himself off the ground and to support him a little as he walked to the fence and unlocked the gate. The dog didn’t jump at Saeki as usual, instead he whined a little and licked their hand. A faint smile played over the swordsman’s lips. "It’s alright Aki, I’m ok." he said, though he knew he wasn’t. It had been a long time since he felt like this with his impeccable health, but he recognized it nonetheless. It seemed he somehow picked up a heavy cold or a flu somewhere. It couldn’t have been Patrick because they had been healthy. As he thought about his boyfriend he vaguely picked up a knock through his state and he looked up from Aki. He didn’t expect anyone today yet. Carefully Saeki stood up straight again and walked to the door with staff in hand. Aki didn’t stray from his owner’s side and walked next to them, constantly looking back and forth from in front and back up to Saeki. The young man took a deep breath before he stopped leaning on the staff as much and opened the door. Surprise showed on his face when he saw his boyfriend at the door, but it soon was replaced with a small smile. "Patrick, what a surprise. Come in." he asked as he opened the door more so he could walk in. His voice was tired but also happy. He didn’t expect them at his door but they were always very welcome.

Saeki smiled a bit to his boyfriend when they walked in and closed the door behind them. Before he could say or do much else though he was suddenly lifted up into Patrick arms with a light yelp of surprise. The staff fell to the ground after this unexpected movement as he wasn’t holding it as tightly as he normally would. Aki quickly dived at it and picked it up. He had seen his master with it a lot, it must be important to him! Saeki had not expected Patrick to carry him once inside, he walked to the door too did he not? That said he did feel weaker than usual and though he would normally object since he wasn’t in the habit of showing weakness, he felt at ease with Patrick and he didn’t try to get out of their arms. In fact he sighed a bit and wrapped his arms around them, resting his head on their shoulder. At least there was no need to be on constant guard with his beloved, that too gave Saeki that feeling of security and ease that allowed him to drop his guard. Besides, he felt tired. "I’m not sure what happened." he said softly to Patrick, though he was mainly thinking of the afternoon. The dizziness had completely surprised him and he didn’t remember ending on the floor yet that was where he woke up. Aki meanwhile walked next to Patrick, still carrying the staff, now they were carrying his owner and made no attempt or sign that he planned to do otherwise anytime soon.

Saeki didn’t object and he kept resting his head on Patrick as they carried him to his bedroom. He wasn’t used to feeling like this at all. Usually it passed him by quite easily. But that had been at hot springs of course. That was all far from his mind right now though. He was just tired and felt like he could sleep for months. He did notice that he changed from Patrick’s arms to the bed though he actually felt like he could have stayed in their arms longer. Though he knew they probably made the right call. And though he wasn’t the type to just give in to things, he didn’t resist Patrick. He nodded a bit when the other man spoke of the park and the coldness. It was well possible. Even at his home where snow did occur, the hot springs generally kept him in a warm environment. So this was about the first time he was in a colder one. Saeki automatically turned on his side towards his boyfriend and curled up a bit. He felt really bad but nodded. "Thank you love. You can join me too." Saeki said softly with which he meant that Patrick could lay down with him if they wanted to. Aki had stayed outside of the bedroom. That was the one room where Saeki didn’t allow him so the canine sat down at the doorstep as he watched the two males. Whether or not Patrick joined him though, it didn’t take long for the male to fall asleep and he slept for a few hours before he woke up again. If Patrick had joined him, he would relax with them though.

Saeki smiled a little when Patrick joined him just before the sleep took him down dreamworld lane. His forehead was quite warm but not really hot. While he slept he didn’t notice anything except subconsciously the close proximity of his boyfriend. It made Saeki feel safe, comfortable. Aki stayed in front of the door for a while before he abandoned the staff after shoving it into the room with his nose and walked off to eat and drink something before settling in the kitchen, chewing his chewbone. When Saeki woke up after a few hours he actually felt a bit better than he had and he sat up, rubbing his eyes. He wasn’t used to sleeping during the daytime. He didn’t feel much better, but at least he didn’t feel like he could keel over any minute.

"I’m sorry hun, you must have been so bored." he apologized softly when he noticed Patrick was still laying next to him. Had they been there the entire time? The young man felt kind of bad to have kept them in the bed for so long when they weren’t the ones that were feeling under the weather. Patrick didn’t seem to mind though. "Thanks sweetheart, I do need to go to the bathroom." he admitted, but as he was about to get up carefully to do so, Aki had picked up the sound of his owner's voice and he showed back up at the door holding his leash in his maw, whining a bit. Saeki realized the time and he was startled a bit. "Oh Aki, I’m sorry. I’m late walking you aren’t I?" he said to the canine. Saeki wanted to get up quickly to take care of his canine companion though when he stood up so fast he suddenly felt dizzy and he reached out to anything nearby to steady himself.

Saeki blushed lightly when Patrick called his sleeping face lovely. But he was glad they hadn’t been bored. He felt really bad when he had to lay down because he wasn’t well. Thankfully it didn’t happen often to him. When he got up to go to the bathroom before walking Aki though, he couldn’t deny he was still not better enough as he nearly fell down again. When Patrick grabbed his arm to help him steady, he automatically grabbed theirs too, though he didn’t put strength behind it. He just accepted their help. "Thanks hun, we don’t want to. Poor Aki. Of course you can come with me." he agreed and smiled a bit at Patrick. Once he was up he managed to at least walk without problems so he got himself to the bathroom and when he was done he washed his hands and looked into the mirror. He looked paler than usual, but that was probably to be expected. Saeki sighed a bit and softly rubbed his face dry and joined Patrick again. "Let’s go. Aki probably has to go real bad." he said and gently caressed his boyfriend’s cheek. He appreciated it that they allowed him to walk himself at least and he never minded having them along of course! Saeki wasn’t one to lay in bed for too long no matter what. Though he would probably need to rest more than usual during this break for Aki.

Saeki smiled back when his boyfriend smiled. They were really sweet. Still, Aki needed his walk and he already missed one because his owner was out on the floor. As he passed Patrick he couldn’t resist giving them that caress. It was clear that Saeki loved Patrick dearly. After that they walked outside and Saeki closed the door behind them before heading for the park. He was wearing warm clothes and a winter jacket, since he wasn’t exactly used to the cold and because Patrick had insisted. The young man didn’t mind. When his lover asked about Aki’s walk, Saeki looked at them as they walked and thought about the route. "We usually walk to the park, make the longest route through it and walk back. Roughly an hour." the young man then told Patrick after he had put it to words. It was such a habit for him already that he didn’t think much about it and just walked. "I should be alright for the entire walk, since it’s a leisurely pace." he added, hoping to avoid Patrick getting worried about him. And fresh air might actually be good for him.

Saeki had mostly slept and done little exercise yesterday. He had just felt too sick to do so. Today he still wasn’t healthy enough to even consider jogging or his martial arts training. But he was feeling less unbalanced than yesterday. No doubt from Patrick’s great care the day before. He would still not be doing heavy exercise, but he was able to get around the house without nearly fainting. Not as fast as usual either, the young man walked through the house to see what he could do because if he stayed in bed too long he would go stir crazy! Aki had been following him closely all day, but the young man didn’t mind. He was just pouring himself some water when his mobile went off, so Saeki placed down the glass and walked back to his bedroom to pick up the phone. "Hey love, how are you today? Thanks for staying with me yesterday." he said, his voice still a bit tired but stronger than the day before.
