Ugh, wow. Of all the inane, pointless things to do, this personality test was it. And as tempted as Astra was to just mash random buttons and hand it in, the geist hybrid had a feeling that that would land her a bad mark for a gimme project.
More than a few questions had them muttering under their breath about how stupid they were, but eventually, they came to the end.
And frankly– the one about dreams? Hah. Astra's dreams were trippy.
In the end, they were labelled a random string of irrelevant letters– an "assertive entrepreneur". Feh, whatever. People who put too much credit into other people's boxes would find themselves limited by them far more often than they ever helped in life.

Xenophon wasn't sure what this had to do with life skills until he paid attention to the way he answered the questions. Was he really that confident when it came to social interactions? Was he really an extrovert? That didn't seem right. Just because he was friendly didn't mean that he didn't prefer a good book to a good party. He'd have to do some serious thinking about what this quiz said about him--maybe that's why they were taking it in a life skills class.
No, seriously, what did this have to do with life skills?
Peri could maybe buy it if he'd learned something new about himself, but he hadn't. He was a touchy-feely, turbulent guy. About the only thing that had surprised him was that he'd just realized that over time, he'd gone from being slightly extroverted to being completely introverted.
Cal didn't learn a heck of a lot about herself by taking the personality quiz. It was just...stuff she already knew about herself. It was nice to get feedback of a sort on her attempts to be more patient with people, but the interesting thing came when Eidil leaned over from her station and asked to compare notes with her. The two of them looked over each other's quizzes. Cal noticed that Eidil seemed a lot more extroverted than she did, and much more...kind. I can live with that, she thought, as she looked over at her girlfriend's orchid locks. I just have to adjust myself a little bit if we ever...y'know, imbue together. The idea made her blush, but it also made her smile.
Eidil looked over her results and nodded. She disagreed with the quiz characterizing her as an extrovert--just because she was friendly didn't mean she was an extrovert!
She leaned over and asked to compare results with Cal. After all, there had been some questions there that could be important for two people in a relationship with each other. Eidil was a little shocked to see how much Cal valued fact over feelings--but then again, she'd found herself surprised how much she herself valued fact over feeling! I guess I learned something about myself today! She smiled. This class had been an excellent one!

Jaden was curious. He answered all the questions as best he could, then waited to see what his results were. Honestly it wasn't all that surprising, which was in and of itself a little surprising. It was interesting to see all the things Jaden suspected laid out in words. Some of it felt frighteningly accurate. Not all. He really didn't think he found it easy to make connections. Maybe he was just confusing that with his unease at being the one to approach others.
Still, it painted his type out to be a very giving kind of person, which he at least hoped he was, and the caution for his types need for alone time also sounded pretty accurate. Jaden found himself wondering what type Leto might get. It might be fun to discuss the results with friends.
Freddy blazed through the quiz, hardly having to even look at all the questions before picking an answer. He scanned through his results, chuckling. Well it certainly sounded a lot like him! Especially his energy levels. He was known for being all over the place and sometimes spontaneous in his actions. Sometimes people found it hard to keep up with him, which was one of the reasons he loved hanging out with Nef so much!
It was particularly interesting to see on the quiz words that he himself had vocalized not so long ago. That he intuited too much sometimes, and occasionally got things wrong and stepped on toes. Yup, this quiz definitely sounded like him!
As Popple began to take the personality test, she wondered how it would differ from when she took it before....
Wow.. what a big difference the time and experiences made in her result. She couldn't help feeling a bit ... well, the word was lost to her, but she did have to at least have to agree with the results

Well this was an interesting assignment. Luno quickly filled out the blanks, thinking only for a moment on a few questions. Still, the results were not.. All that surprising. Executive, hmm? Seemed like him. Someone who would stand up and take charge of situations. Yes. Luno wanted to be the controller, not the controlled. Still, he wanted to be more subtle than that. Not someone you saw, but only heard of. Only knew of to lurk in the shadows and pull strings on the hapless victims he was controlling. Shame there was no 'shadow master' response too. Ha. He'd offer that to the maker of the test, but then... That would be somewhat against his nature of being a 'shadow'.

Desdemona was hesitant to take the personality test. She never really thought about her own personality and was far more interesting in observing the personality of others. Still, a class was a class, and she tried to answer as honestly as possible.
Desdemona stared at her results, head tilted to the side. Logistician? Was that even a word? It didn't surprise her that it was a common personality type - what was special about her? But she had to agree that she didn't enjoy work and doing it well. The statement that stood out to her most was "For It Is Better to Be Alone Than in Bad Company". She couldn't agree more, which is why she spent practically all her time alone.

Archimedes looked over his personality test, for the most part it looked like him, he wasn't so sure about the assertive part since he didn't feel really assertive. His life still felt so on the rocks and lost, but he needed to find something else to hold onto so he could move on with his life. Do his woodwork and make art that was beautiful. Maybe he could try to be a little less introvert.. Or at least find an extrovert that would help get him to do more stuff. Arch's mind score was really glaring of how much he had been hiding from the world.

Helios had no problem with his personality test and he thought it was perfect for him, not that he really had any doubt of that after all Helios knew who he was and that was the end of the story. He wrote down that he agreed he was all the things the test said and turned it in. He wanted to get back to the pool he had training to do so he could become the strongest swimmer. Helios had to wonder since the naiads had arrived in the below would one show up to keep him from his goal of being the best??

Rowan frowned a bit on hearing the assignment (they thought personality tests were usually generalized and altogether a load of hokum) but gave the test the same level of seriousness they would with any other assignment. Just because they didn't see the point didn't mean they wouldn't give it their all.
When they got their results back they had to say that they weren't exactly wrong. Rowan was well-known for their serious, get-it-done-on-time-at-all-costs attitude, and their willingness to go above and beyond. They certainly did value honesty and tried to be honest at all times in kind, and definitely came off as cold or robotic to several people. Not that it changed their mind one bit about the validity of personality tests, but at least the traits this one had described felt a bit more pointed than generalized.

Alyssum felt a stirring of curiosity about the assignment in class today. It wasn't something she usually did, but it sounded like it could be interesting. She tried to answer the questions quickly, but still found herself pausing over a few and trying to figure out how much exactly did she agree or disagree with something. Hopefully that wouldn't affect the results too badly. She read through the answer she got, comparing words to her personality as she knew it.
She thought it sounded accurate. Some of the praise in the results did make her blush a bit. Perhaps all the results had some very positive phrasing to them, but it still felt like a lovely compliment. She agreed with several of the points, such as being a social introvert (though with her silence she was usually observing more than interacting) and being uncomfortable with taking the spotlight. There was also the detail of excellent memories for people and their lives rather than trivia, though Alyssum liked to hope her memory was good for some of that as well. All-in-all she would rather give her test to a friend to read to determine whether or not it was an accurate depiction of herself, but she had rather enjoyed taking it.
