Still stunned from earlier, Fakir had decided to settle on a bench and just stare at his hands, despair washing over him. Never in his life had he gotten such a response from someone while doing something as simple as trick-or-treating! Was he not as famous as he thought? No... no, he was! But maybe... maybe that man just couldn't appreciate his sparkling talent? Yeah. YEAH! That was it! Everyone else loved him, obv-
"OH, IT'S YOU. I'm so tired of hearing your damn voice on the radio!"
Wait, what?! Fakir looked up, just in time for a gross gummy to slap him in the face. Horrified, the Fallen didn't get a chance to see his attacker, instead furiously rubbing at his face. How DARE they?!

Litla hadn't expected much. No, wrong. She wanted to see a ghost, but that wasn't exactly happening. Instead, people in costumes were causing her to jump constantly, often bumping into others or slamming into booths. At one point, someone in a ghoul costume sent her flying backwards into a massive Imp, eyes rolling up and mouth catching as a squeak almost left due to the glower she was given. The larger Imp threw something at her, landing in her pail with a disgusting 'slap'.
"Watch where you're going, idiot!" She flinched as the other Imp stormed past, her legs giving in as she fell onto her knees and just stared at the ground. Oh. She should just go back to her dorm.....
She didn't hear the sympathetic whisper as someone placed a plushie in her pail.

She spun around for him showing off just a bit. "Thanks! All my reading got me really inspired so I thought I'd do something about it. I had to harass one of the more sewing inclined students in Arkham to help me although I did try to help." she said with a nod. "Well you look good anyway." she smiled up at him and then blushed realizing what she'd said. "I mean, you always look good! No, wait, I mean!" she went lilac. "It's nice to see you." she muttered feeling the blush extend all the way to her ear tips to her toes. Maybe this outfit hadn't been a good idea considering her full body blush.
"Get anything good?" she asked trying to change the subject.

Oho~ she looked mad. Kirket met her glare with a bright smile and a pat on the shoulder. "Oh come now, Ava." He paused to wave at a little freshling as they passed, then looked back to her. "Of course I did! Children love teddybears. If you'd stop looking so sour they'd be all over you, I'm sure. Plus you appear much more approachable." He nodded, clapping his hands together.
He quirked a brow as she snatched the plushie, then leveled her an even stare that said 'really Ava, snatching things?' He didn't even notice the chocolate bat that someone stuffed into his pail. "And yes, there are a lot of people out of costume, but you are the headmistress! You should uphold the season~ show some cheer, get into the spirit of it all. Relax and enjoy the fun. All of which requires a costume. Now come on, let's find a game to play, hm?"
Today was Chi's lucky day! She kept receiving plushies, and everyone knew how much she loved those! In fact, just as she went to approach a haunted house she was handed a small plushie before being complimented on her costume. Flushing brightly, Chi held the plushie tight before wandering up to the haunted house, steeling herself.

Puppy dog eyes were exactly what she was getting. Frost was all big pleading eyes and quivery eared as he walked up to Lerin, tail wagging slowly. "I'm sorry mama. I wont run off again." Which was probably a lie, but he really did mean it at this particular moment in time. "Can I keep the big puppy? Pleeeeaaase? I'm sure mama and papa wouldn't mind if you said yes."
"And. And. I'll give you this treat!" He said, fishing in his basket for the chocolate he'd put in there earlier. He held out a slightly melted chocolate bat, the best bribe he could think of on Halloween. He'd have to collect a few more to bribe his other parents.
Falsetto walked ahead of her green companion, hands shoved into her hoodie pocket and head hidden under the hood as she swiftly walked through the fairgrounds. She sucked on her teeth as she carried her pail around her arm, hands fussing with string within her pockets. At times she'd pause, leaning to the side to watch Charlotte run about and play booth games before she'd jerk back into motion, her pace remaining lackadaisical until she heard familiar pitter pattering behind her.
She wasn't glad to be here, no. The only thing making this tolerable was the music blasting through her earphones, hidden under her hoodie. Charlotte had practically harassed her into joining the celebrations, and now that she was here she could only wonder why everyone thought this was fun. She could buy candy at the store. Costumes were for kids. And, worst of all, this was cutting into her gaming time.
Someone approached her, causing her to snap her head to view them, a brief eyebrow raise questioning their presence. The Baphomet before her turned red before dropping something within her pail. He scurried off, leaving Falsetto behind. The hybrid glanced within her pail, shrugging before continuing her walk.
Unlike Falsetto, Charlotte was having a blast! She wore a witches costume, topped off with her familiar gloves. She trailed behind Falsetto, occasionally squeaking before rushing off to play a game here and there. She'd always return, prize in her pail and humming merrily behind her sulky companion. When a boy approached Falsetto she squealed, rushing right up to her friend once he had left, gloved hands reaching out to wrap around False's shoulders.
"Oh! He looked like he thought you were cute~! Oooh! Oooh! He's right there! Go get his number! Quick!" She squealed practically into False' ear, receiving a sharp in-take of breath as the blue hybrid wiggled free, a hand dismissively waving Charlotte off.
"You always say that." The blue hybrid muttered as she returned to her spot in-front of Charlotte. The green hybrid pouted, folding her arms as her pail dangled from her finger tips.
"You're boring. Oh! Thank you~!" Charlotte flashed a bright smile as something dropped within her pail before turning back to view Falsetto, rolling her eyes before she launched herself forward, seizing Falsetto's hand and dragging her with.
"Come on! They have spooky karaoke! It's like a video game, right?!"

Zillah shrugged and looked around. There were a couple booths that looked like good exercises in physics. Trying to get a super light, super bouncy ball to stay in a bucket tilted at just the right angle to make most tosses bounce out wildly. "We could try that one." Zillah pointed. It had a trick to it.
Sure enough, after one practice toss that netted her some nasty looking gummy poo as a consolation prize, she tossed all three balls into the bucket and got herself a cute little bat plush. There was one hanging that kind of reminded her of someone, so she snagged that one.
Speaking of familiar nightmares, Zillah noticed a tall geist looking out over the crowd and waved, smiling brightly. "Iah, look! It's Vaden. I told you about him, right?" Zillah kept waving, hoping that Vaden would notice her in the crowd. She hoped he did, though she was rather short....

Odessa took a deep breath and went into the large crowds. She was a bit awestruck by all there was to do! She had no idea where to start. It was at that point that she felt herself began to descend backwards to the ground! She fell flat on her butt and let out an aggravated "Owww.." After the initial shock finally stopped, she looked to see what she had tripped over, and there in front of her was a rock! It was a rather large rock and she wasn't sure how she hadn't seen it before. She shuffled toward it and examined it, it was.. actually kind of pretty and in the right light it almost shimmered a little. Smiling a little, Odessa took the little paper ghost out of her pail and clipped it to her dress before putting the rock inside.

Ooh! A spin-the-wheel booth! Andy ran on over to it, and waited his turn, bouncing in place. Once it was his turn, he spun the wheel and... Oh no!!! A ]poo gummy??? Reluctantly he held his pail out for the "treat" to be deposited into it... groooossss.... He turned to walk away, and nearly tripped over a pumpkin!
Wait. That wasn't a pumpkin.... He stared at the Pumpka for a moment, bewildered, then attempted to sneak away.... but it just levitated after him! Oh boy... Slightly unnerved, he continued along with the flow of traffic to find something else to do... He sure wished Mikhail was here...
Anastara flew to her mother, hiding behind her skirt and peeping out at the fox that had followed them. It seemed to tower over her, or maybe that was a trick of the light. "Mom, it's after me. What is it?" She'd never seen anything so big before. And, although her mother had a fox, it was a tiny, fluffy thing...not this tall, graceful critter.
Honestly, even Ana could tell it was pretty, but she didn't like it. It was too big for her to be anything but nervous. "What are we going to do with it?" she asked, peeking out from behind the dress cautiously. The fox licked her cheek and she disappeared again with a short squeak.
"We're going to keep it and take care of it. Here, watch. Good boy." She cooed at it, taking what was in it's mouth away and plopping it in Ana's basket. She saw her daughter looking fairly unnerved by the large animal and smiled. "How about we make a trade. I'll give you this nezubat plush that I found, for the spectrefox. I can take care of him, and you get a new friend to snuggle with.
Lerin folded her arms and started at her son. She and Nasai had been a master of the same look that Frost was trying to give her. Just because he literally was a puppy was not swaying her judgment what so ever. He didn’t have to know that she had already decided to let him take home the fox before he even asked.
“It’s not a puppy it’s a spectre fox Frost, and it’s awfully big. Plus you are trying to bribe the wrong twin there with the bat. Plus that’s your candy I wouldn’t be a good mommy if I stole your candy Frost. Still it might be a good lesson for you. If Seth and Allie okay it then I want me to show that you can take care of it for a week. If you go a good job we’ll keep it”
of course who ever seemed to be raining things dropped a cute bat plushie and box of raisins at her. this was really going to convince Frost that bat themed things wouldn't work again her.

Vaden was about to see if he could slip behind all the stalls and make his escape when he noticed someone waving out of the corner of his eye. He frowned, his brow furrowing until he managed to spot the person in question, and blinked as he recognized the individual. He raised a hand and gestured that he'd seen her and managed to cut through the crowd until he found his way to her. "Good evening, Zillah." he said nodding his head to her. "I see you're out enjoying all this." he used one hand to gesture around them and then retreated into his position of having his hands behind his back, one wrist loosely clasped in his other hand, the bag with Charo's food dangling from his fingers. "Very lively." he said and then paused. "Having a good time?" he asked trying to keep the conversation going. "Winning lots of games? I admit the last time I attended one of these parties, I didn't do very well with the games. Streak of terrible luck." he said shaking his head a bit with a chuckle.
As she scampered back and forth between trick or treating and her small family, Coralie paused long enough to beam at Gilby before darting back into the fun.
Only to have her next stop pass her a pack of gross looking gum. Glancing mournfully into her bucket, she rather thought that she had terrible luck so far this year.
