the gothic beauty 2  Vlad smiled. "He won't mind. Horses naturally like social interaction and Artix loves attention. You can pet his muzzle or neck if you would prefer. He won't bite you, so that should make things a bit easier for you to touch him." Artix stood perfectly still for Alvin to touch him the only movements were his sides expanding as he breathed or the twitch of his tail or ears. He had been a horse used to war and the sounds of battle not to the gentleness of a modern world. Still, he understood that he was to behave and let this boy touch him because his master wished it.

 Alfred "Alvin" MathisAlvin hesitated before he put a hand on Artix's broad neck. His fur was cold, like Vlad's skin. So, vampire animals were cold to the touch, too. Interesting. "He really is amazing....I've always wanted to pet a horse. Never thought the first one I touched would be a vampire one. So....Does he drink blood, too? Where does he get it?"

the gothic beauty 2 the gothic beauty 2 Artix turned and nuzzled Alvin's shoulder to show he liked the teen. "He likes you. And yes he does drink blood. It's usually animals that I bring to him but if it's difficult he will get mine. It's only fair since I am the one that made him. Perhaps someday you can join me for a ride. He can easily carry both of us. That is if your up for it of course."

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAh. So, at least no one was hurt to feed him. Alvin didn't think Vlad would feed him people, though. He was too nice. "I'd love to! But, um....I think that should wait. Until after you meet Dad? I mean, he wouldn't like the thought of me taking a ride on a horse with a man he doesn't know, so...." Was it wrong to want to cater to his dad? He just didn't want to worry the man more than he did. But, he also wanted to make himself and Vlad happy. This was difficult. Did Vlad think he was weird?

idea the gothic beauty 2 Right. The father. Vlad let out a small sigh but hid it with a smile. "It's easier to feed him from animals they tend to be bigger and have more to provide for him. As for waiting, I understand you don't want to create issues or make your father think I'm kidnapping you." Giving the horse one last pat on the neck he started out of the stable. "I'm sure your class will be looking for you soon. It is almost noon." Vlad would make some calls and arrangements to stay in Arabor and meet with Derrick. Of course he would probably need to bring something rare for the man as a gift. Perhaps some lost artwork from Atlantis before it disappeared? He had done some trading with the merfolk back when the city was still accessible.

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAlvin could tell Vlad wasn't too happy to have his dad brought up again. The teen looked down. He really hoped he didn't give up on his advances because of his dad's stubbornness. So many people didn't even bother because of it. Alvin walked out with Vlad, suddenly feeling the urge to just...hug him and hope he was more stubborn than his dad was. But, he didn't. He couldn't hug him, not when the thought alone made him a tomato. He did take his arm, though. "Yeah....A museum seems kind of boring now, though. I mean, I got a personal tour of your old playground and met the world's oldest horse."

"I know that look. Don't worry I am not gong to give up just because of your father. After all, Ive had a lot of difficult situations in my very long life. If I gave up then I wouldn't be here now." He gave a smile to Alvin before hearing about the museum. "Right, I didn't mean to ruin the rest of your trip. I do hope you can forgive me Alvin." Vlad said with a bow holding his hand out for a moment. "I don't think Artix is the oldest horse. I could be wrong though, but he is the only vampire horse. I thought about making a mare for him, but having little vampire foals running around would be a danger. Half vampire might not be bad though...." He thought about it for a moment and wondered if Artix would just as soon kill the mare as breed with her.

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAlvin blushed. He was that obvious? Jeez....When Vlad apologized, Alvin's heart skipped a beat. "No, I...! I didn't mean it like that! I....I would rather have the personal tours. I like....I like spending time with you.
" A mare? Would she still be able to reproduce if she became a vampire horse? That was...kind of odd. He was told basic human functions ceased when a person became a vampire. Was it the same for turned animals?

"I really don't know. I know there are a few vampire human mixes around, and male vampires seem to be able to reproduce just fine without an issue. Just because someone says that it can be done doesn't mean its true. You were told vampires didn't exist at one point right?" He couldn't help but smile at Alvin. "Well, perhaps to make up for it, I can give you more of those private tours~" He said with a smirk wanting to see the other's reaction. Of course he was being relatively innocent about what he meant, but he said it in a way that might imply something else.

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAlvin thought. Well, that made sense. He had a lot to learn. Rumors weren't great sources of information. When the vampire teased him again, Alvin blinked. "Make up for it? Maybe he could be spirited away instead of going to the museum. Then again, they'd call his dad and things would turn into WWIII.

That's the thing about history it's always told by those that were the victors in wars never telling the full story about why wars were really fought. I united the warring lands here to bring peace and to steen thing our land. It was a strategic move since we had neighboring empires trying to claim our homes, it also provided stability. Less war meant more time for crops and farms, we prospered once we were united. Not all wars are faught solely to conquer more."

"As far as I'm concerned, Arabor is great at preserving its history. Even its defeats. I know almost everything about Arabor, so...."

Your different from other teens your age and while you have an interest in history I wasn't sure what all you know." He looked away then trying to think of how he could fix this situation. "Would you like to see the treasury? A lot of relics in there. Not just from my kingdom other." ((Wow Kai was playing and smacked her head on a wooden pole. -.-))
