Also, that dude in the forums that was calling the majority of RPers lazy. Lol what even. I've heard some stories about ISPs in the States! Crazy s**t they get away with over there. That video of the guy talking with Comcast for 20 minutes trying to cancel is hilariously painful. Ah yeah, that dude. I had a conversation with him in his first recruitment thread that was also kind of ... what. That guild looks like it came straight out of the 90s! Nostalgia overload!

They were going to charge us to come out to even look at our router at one point, so we took it to them and asked for a replacement instead, haha.... I completely missed that dude, what was going on? WUUT. Lol, they weren't even going to bring a new router with them? And oh, it's just some dude in the guild network forum that AlthIndor and I saw. I'll link you to his thread, he was advertising the guild as lit+ but it wasn't even close to being Literate. Click clickLast thing, my internet is up and running. ;u; So I'm hard at work moving the species and making locations.

Yeah it was really dumb and we didn't want to pay for more than what we had to. The first time we called they did some weird thing on the computer and checked out connection and told us it was fine and there was no reason to come out, so then we finally convinced them it wasn't working but they were still skeptical so they were going to charge us to just come out and look at it. They said if there was anything wrong with it they would come back on another day so we just took it to them and *gasp!* they discovered it didn't work (surprise, surprise). WOWIE that guy seems super rude. I mean I know I can be a pretty lazy person and that was still insulting :c Def not how you go about recruiting people. Also it's a little...sparkly...and ...big. Awesome! Is there anything specific I should do? I have no idea what to do for locations but if I'm given some basic ideas I can whip some stuff up. I can help with the species too if you need it. I started the other thread but didn't have any of the closed species but my own.

Yeah, that's probably why his guild only has 4 people. You can't just aggressively get people to join your guild, you have to be somewhat nice. I (personally) like to get to know each and every member and I like to have friendships with those in the guild. It just makes the guild more inviting in my opinion.

I'll see what I can do c: Maybe I'll start with a city. Not sure what planet, I'll do some peeping in the species list to see what I can come up with. I love joining guilds where we're all like one big happy family (or friends at least) it makes me feel comfortable in the guild instead of awkward or whatever. Especially when it comes to roleplaying, I'm a better roleplayer when I'm comfortable with other people I'm roleplaying with. Also, I feel like he should at least know the terms and stuff himself before he tries to teach other people.... You have no idea how relevant that is, the whole ordeal was incredibly painful.

Like, I understood what he meant by literate in the sense of proper grammar and spelling and shiz. However, in RP terms literate is like-- novel sized posts. XD I want to start hosting some giveaways in the guild too and some games, I just need to get some gold ready. I literally blew through 200b the other day.

In an old guild I had, instead of telling my roleplayers to be literate I always told them not to type like apes on steroids because then they wouldn't freak out and think they had to type a novel in every post, haha.... I don't really remember how I came up with it but it worked. Giveaways and stuff are always fun! I don't know how much gold I have (millions and billions and stuff always confuse me, I'm no good with numbers) but I can always help out a little. I think I have like a million right now but I have a bunch of stuff I'm just sitting on that I haven't sold. I blew through a bunch of gold the last few days as well and my current avi isn't even wearing any of it :I

AlthIndor House Chor I had a router problem awhile ago and it turns out that we were given a faulty router because that specific type of router (I'm a verizon subscriber) was mass made and there are bound to be some mistakes.
Yeah, that happens too. At least if you get it from your ISP, they give you a replacement for free if it breaks, right?

So, I feel like asking about space travel. What kind of mechanics does this RP use for space travel?
FTL? Warp drive, hyper drive, jump drive, jump gates? Star maps? Sublight speeds?
