Dysmas was almost out the door of the casino area when he heard the sound of the roulette table. It was an enticing sound. Dysmas sighed, he wanted so badly to go back to his room, yet... the whole reason he had gone on this trip... well the reason wasn't so he could sit in a casino and play games and he probably wasn't going to find himself in the casino. However, he really couldn't keep hiding in his room either.
Dysmas walked up to the roulette wheel and bet on black, it seemed like a fair shot. The ball stopped in a black spot and the boy grinned. "Really?" he almost gapped, he knew he had a fair shot... but he hadn't really expected to win it. Dysmas let out a yippee, but quickly shrunk back, looking around with shifty eyes, but his outcry probably hadn't gone noticed in a casino bustling with noises.
He happily accepted his wine bottle prize, although he wasn't sure what he would do with it and then went off to the last game. He might as well try them all since he was already here.

Dysmas very timidly approached the card table. "Uhm... hello," he said meekly to the fairy card dealer. He was intimidated by the idea of playing against someone else, none of the other games had been like that. He took a deep breath, sat down, and picked up his cards. Dysmas picked up the final card and looked at it, it appeared that he had lost. The male set down his cards as the fairy dealer mocked him for his loss. The water angel frowned, not appreciating it at all. It was a bum end to his night, for sure. He picked up his wine bottle prize and walked out of the casino, slightly heartbroken. Dysmas was unfortunately sensitive to such things.

Strawberri Stardust Kobalt blinked as he and the dealer ended up with the same number. The Avalon fairy's challenging glare was met with a similar one from the blue angel pae. A thingamajig? It looked odd, but was also fairly pretty. Rio leaned closer for a better look at it until Kobalt shooed him back again. At the end of the count, Kobalt flipped his card over to see if he'd won or lost.
The fairy grumbled, fishing around in his pocket before slamming his hand down one more time. "This is it! All or nothing! You're getting a chance at something really rare here! Almost never happens. Twin thingamajigs!" Another costume jewelry earring; if particularly sparkly. "Draw!"
((Last chance at the bonus prize! Roll two more 10-sided dice, first is yours, second's the dealer's. 1-3 is safe now, as they're at 18 each, and 4 or more is a bust. Beat the dealer. If you tie the dealer again, player wins.))

Edana stretched out on the bed, allowing herself to air dry after her shower. She could hear the festivities going on outside, and in spite of that, Meep was sleeping, his head poking out of the honeydew he'd apparently punched his way into. Good, if he had eaten his fill, he'd likely leave the mellons alone and let her have a good time. "Cmon Meep, it's time to go look for something to do." The mantis shrimp looked irritated but offered little resistance as she placed him on his shoulder, knowing him he was just planning on eating an avalon fairy at the first opportunity. Little troublemaker. Hmmm, it looked like there was quite a lot to do here. Meep nipped her ear as she passed the casino. "Mantis shrimp can't play blackjack, Meep, and besides, they can't understand you anyway." He nipped her ear again, "Okay okay, we'll go play. And no I'm not letting you count cards, I don't even think you can. You can prove it to me later, not someplace where your attempts will get us thrown out." She sat down at the blackjack table beside a deep blue pae, a mellon flittering nearby. Meep made a feeble attempt to swipe at the fairy, but seemed to lose interest pretty quickly. Melon trumped mellon it seemed. Well, she might as well go for it. "See, I told you you couldn't count cards, Meep. Now I've got this ridiculous fairy making fun of me." The mantis shrimp waved his clubs at the fairy, seemingly indicating an intense desire to eat it. At least that seemed to put a bit of a damper on its laughter.

Melek had already been staring at the blinking, noisy machines when one of the fairies waved a hand in his face. "HellooooOOooooo? Hey! Everyone get a free play!" He giggled, pressing the token into Melek's hand before flitting away.

Kobalt blinked. How often does that happen!? He grinned. "You're on," he said and drew another card, hitting the table with it.
Just then a pretty orange colored pae sat next to him. He turned to smile at her before looking back to see if he'd won or not.

Okay, so he hadn't won the prize. He'd had fun, and besides...lights and sounds! He'd even talked some fairies out of a few tokens to play some more. Then he'd just stood around watching other Pae'il play for a while. Until one lady accused him of being creepy. He wasn't being creepy. He just liked watching the pictures spin around and around and the lights...
Maybe he had been a little too close to her and peering over her shoulder.
Flushing with embarrassment, Melek made a quick exit from the slots area and soon found himself among the blackjack tables. He wasn't entirely sure how this game was played, so he watched for a while, then shrugged and sat down. Surely they'd help him know if he won or not, right?

Apparently, the fairies didn't respond well to the angel excitedly yelling "KING ME!" each time Melek wanted a new card. Disapproving stares and sadly shaken heads in his wake, Melek went to find a new game, soon attracted by the sounds of the roulette table.
The angel was so fascinated by the spinning wheel and bouncing ball, he hadn't even realized he'd won when one of the fairies presented him with an ornately labeled bottle. "Oh! Thank you!" he responded automatically, taking it with a smile and a nod. Then, after the fairy flitted away, he looked down at it, puzzled once more. Okay, what was it and what was he supposed to do with it now?

The dealer fairy glared down at the cards, arms crossed over his chest. Twin blackjacks...really? He aimed his glare back upwards at the blue Pae, shifting his visor out of the way. "Well played," he grumbled, sounding reluctant in the compliment.
He gathered Kobalt's prizes, the cheese knife and twin thingamajigs (earrings) and tossed them over the table at the Pae. "Fine, you won. Now, get off my table." He didn't seem very happy to have to give up his shiny prizes now that the fire of competition had died down. Instead, he began to behave as if Kobalt were no longer there, pointedly only dealing to the other Pae'il at the table.
(Congrats on your prizes, Kobalt! XD)

Edana snorted in irritation at the obnoxious little avalon fairy, no wonder no one else had come by the table. At least the stupid thing had lost to someone. She returned the blue Pae's smile, casting a dismissive glance back at the rude fairy, "Y'know, I'm almost willing to let Meep eat that one. Not quite, but almost." A grin crossed her face, hopefully that'd be enough to clue the other in on the fact that she wasn't interested in feeding fairies to her wild soul, remarkably irritating or not. "Congratulations on your win by the way, good to see that that little bugger didn't get to rub it in everyone's faces."

Cadassi was stopped at the door by a small, irate fairie. Appearently, in his haste to leave the tables he had forgotten his knife. Imagine that...
Thanking the little fairie with a small bow of his head, he generously offered it to his little psychotic partner in crime. "I believe I won this for you?" he half-arse mumbled, still surprised that he had actually won. He was entirely embarrassed of his own actions, except giving the knife to his little homocidal love.
That, he was sure, was going to win him brownie points. ((Cadassi gives the cheese/fruit knife to Leitha)) Dementia Requiem Asumi Those sweet nothings/gifts XDD

Vash finished dinner in the company of Zana and then excused himself. He wanted to do more exploring of the ship there was so much he'd yet not seen. Eventually he found a loud room with many noisy machines and pae.
A fairy flew up to him and he stared at it a moment "what?" he asked it. Everyone gets one free play on the slots..." it told him and pressed a coin in his hand.
After getting the fairy to point out these free play machines he went and dropped the coin into the hole and pulled the lever, he watched the images spin in front of him in amusement until they came to a stopTartara Seabreeze Zana can go her merry way or tag along it's your choice smile

Elizabeth decides to go to the slot machines next. Knowing how addictive they can be, she resolves to only use her free play. She sits down at the machine and puts her token in the slot, then pulls the lever as the credit appears.
Nothing. Just as well, she might've let the luck go to her head. And to her coin purse. Shrugging, she gets up and moves on to the roulette table.

Elizabeth watches the Pae before her bet at the roulette table before she steps up to make her own play. She gives the token to the dealer, then bets on black. She watches the ball go round and round...
And drops into a black slot! Grinning, Elizabeth turns to the dealer for her prize.

His belly filled and appetite sated, Kane was as close as he got to what others would call a pleasant mood. The striped demon was wandering the halls, pondering whether it was too early to go to bed, when some strange noises caught his attention. The heck...?
Peering into the casino, he noted the multiple Pae'il, as well as all the fairies and noise. Eh, not necessarily something he'd be looking for normally, but he was well-fed and reasonably amiable at the moment, so might as well sate his curiosity as well.
As he entered, he blinked as one of the fairies buzzed over to him specifically. "One free play for the slot machines!" he was told, a small token being shoved in his direction. Alright, he'd humor the bug. Taking the token, he shrugged and started off in the indicated direction.
