Masa stands there in front of Lazarus, trembling slightly. Too afraid to fight, she simply acts as a shield. As blood is spilt, she looks down. She flattens her ears to block out the cries of pain from the attackers. Masa fights hard to resist the urge to help anyone but Lazarus.

Mathias and Marrice come dashing around the corner and look around at the situation in the workshop. "What's going on?" he asks Nick and Lazarus urgently, glancing furtively at the giant, scared-seeming wolf.
Nick cautiously approaches the last soldier by circling around to his other side behind cover while twirling his revolver in his right hand. "Three guys attacked us, presumably AICo., apparently to collect information, since one of them was playing the part of a customer in order to find out what armaments we had," he explains. "What should we do with this last one?"
Lazarus looks around, keeping watch for any reinforcements that might show up. He also pats Masa's side soothingly. "You did a good job, Masa," he tells her softly. "Thank you..."

Masa relaxes a little as Lazarus pats her side. She also feels embarrassed because someone, a guy, is touching her. She sits down and nods in response to the thanks she knows she doesn't deserve.

The troop stopped attempting to get out, and as fast as he could bare, he pulled out one of his grenades, and pulled the pin and placed it under his neck as he leaned his head back, his head holding the spoon in place.
Seeing Nick approach from around the corner, the troop smirked, and let out a deep British accented voice, deeper than the 'customer' or the other troops accents, both British also. "ha... how bout' killing me? "

Marrice's eyes widen at the sight, and she stays frozen in place where she stopped. "Of course....as to be expected...." She whispered to herself, with a small accent, not noticeable at all when she speaks to others. Marrice has always wanted to be away from these people who put their lives on the line like a joke...which is why she left the troops to be here. She walked up to the man with the grenade, and shook her head. "You, are an idiot." She said to him, accent noticed, and walked away, back next to Mathias.

Nick notices the man make some kind of quick movement, but he isn't able to tell what he did. As he observes the soldier, he mumbles quietly to himself, "What are you up to..."
Mathias walks up next to his brother, grabs a sword from a nearby rack, and holds the tip of the blade against the soldiers neck with enough pressure to draw a drop of blood. "As fun as that sounds, I think I'd rather take you up to the castle and have them do with you what they will. Hawkeye, would you get us some rope?"
Lazarus nods and grabs a long, coiled piece of rope from the ground and hastily brings it to Nick, whilst also handing him his second pistol. "Not like those AICo. sleazeballs care about their soldiers, eh?" he comments with a grim expression.

The troop grins as the blade pokes his throat, and only lightly chuckles as they talk.
But the last statement is what makes the troop really act. Leaning slightly forward with his neck, so the blade enters his neck a little more, "haha... ah ha... rope... gonna bloody tie me up and take me to the gallows are ya? hahaha.... ... ..eh?... A I Company?... bloody hell those bloaks are here too....haha... please... I would have to be daft to be with those bloody bunch .. ... ... here, I'll let you in on some things... ... Her Majesty has her eyes on this place as well, ... ... haha... and two, ... FU** YOU!!" The man yells as he raises his neck into the blade while the grenade rolls out from behind his head, the spool now off, and this grenade is made with a three second fuse.

Masa, not knowing what a grenade is or what it does, senses the thingy the bad guy was laying on isn't good at all. Acting on nothing but pure instinct, Masa (still in wolf form) jumps on the grenade and shape-shifts. She turns into a thick dome of tough earth and keeps everyone safe as it goes off.

Nick's first reaction upon seeing the grenade is to take cover, so he pulls a u-turn, runs a short distance, and leaps over the counter to hide behind it. When he hears the dull thud of the grenade Masa had shielded then from, he slowly stands up and looks around. "Everyone all right?" He calls out.
Laz's reaction is similar to Nick's, but he ducks behind a workbench instead. "Seems like it," he answers Nick and walks back towards Masa. "Looks like our new friend blocked all the damage."
Mathias, on the other hand, tries to swat the grenade out of the way with the tip of his sword. Masa is slightly faster, however, and his sword accidentally glances off her new form. A little confused, he scratches his head with the other hand and looks down at Masa. "Did I miss something? Who's this?"

Sai walks around the corner and gasps at the scene she sees.
Surprized by the looks of things, and her ears flatten as she stands there unsure what to do or say.
Her tail coiling one of her legs as she nervously looks at the others around.
Aza, sleeping in the shadows, her hood up covering her face as so she seems like a harmless child sleeping.
One eye open, she observes the others discreatly.

Masa shifts back to her human form and looks around, tired. "Masa tried to help. Masa helped?" She manages to get out before she yawns and curls into a ball. Her eyes dart around to see if anyone is hurt as she covers her stomach. "Masa stupid... Masa forgot...." Masa mumbles before she passes out.

Sai felt Ranko's presence drift nearer and nearer, not alone either.
So she stepped backwards to leave silently so she could go meet her sister, but stepped on Aza, the much young looking being behind Sai.
"Ow!
Watch where you are going child."
She hissed, glaring her deep, magical, blue eyes at the neko, making her flinch.
"S-sorry!"
Sai backed up away from Aza, bumping into Masa, causing them both to fall over.
Ranko reached the area where she sensed her sister, and saw the event unfold.
Being a small neko didn't stop Ranko from being mad at Aza for scaring her sister, but she stayed silent and went to her aid.
Hand out to help Sai up.
"Careful next time sis."
She muttered, and Sai nodded shyly as Blue and Finis came up.
Blue, not really sure what happened, looked to Finis to see if he understood.
Aza was not pleased to be stepped on, so she stood up and looked around.
Her hood was down after the accident, so others could see her appearence and sense her now visible aura as she had hidden it earlier.
"Stupid children..."
She muttered, her voice sounding mature, yet she often was mistaken for an eleven year old boy which angered her.

Mathias drops his sword and manages to catch Masa just before she hits the ground. "Laz? She's your friend?" he asks with a concerned tone and carries her over to him.
Lazarus nods and takes Masa from Mathias's arms. "I'll take her inside to rest," he says and takes her back inside.
Nick blinks at the five new people, who were apparently drawn by the commotion, and walks towards them to talk to them. "Hello, folks," he greets as he grabs the holster belt for his pistols and puts them back in it, where they belong. "If you heard all that racket, everything's fine now. We got attacked by some moderns but we took care of it. Anything I can do for you?"
