What was this? Run over Mya day or something?! After slipping away a few paces to avoid said head-on collision, the cadet careful straightened herself out before eyeing him. Poor fellow, seemed a bit reaked out...probably by all the on-goings and whatnot.
"It's alright. There's only so many people you can shove into one area without at least one person getting run over." A chuckle and a smile brought an edge of humor to her words as she looked him over with critical eyes.
"Are you okay? You seem a bit frazzled." Was he a cadet like herself?
At her heels, neon eyes watched the newcomer while his tail flicked idly back and forth. Unknown to both humans, and on a hunch, the wolf carefully stored a visual photo and voice print of this male into his memory banks.
He didn't why such a hunch popped up....but with things going on, it was better to be safe then sorry.

Nicodemus' jawline tightened at the subtle 'correcting' of rank from the subordinate. The event had just started and already two of his soldiers, and an organoid, had rebuked and/or corrected him. It made one wonder what their superior officers were doing. Regardless, there would and will be a time to correct such behavior but now there was an entirely different matter on hand.
"The health of my soldiers are among one of my top priorities regardless of rank, as is to be honest with them." Nicodemus addressed his soldier sternly. His own form of a subtle rebuke.
The third guard returned promptly with two of the medics, one of which had dealt with first two cases of the poisoning AND had unfortunately watched the whole 'play' between Blitz and Revel. To include the aggressive shoving they all partook in toward the end. The information was quickly whispered into the ear of Nicodemus' bodyguard.
----
Kreig looked from pilot to general and back again with feathers lowered flat against his head and neck. How could Blitz say that this was nothing? His body was literally rejecting his prosthetic eye! Not to mention attacking it so violently it resulted in a mass amount of pain to the owner.
"Sir..." He cocked an eye at Blitz as he addressed the general. "Medication is required. Prescription located within his ZOID; Black Wing Blade. Parked in row 5 column 8."
Normally his mouth would have remained shut. However, the pain obviously written upon Blitz's features gave no room for shyness or protection over the 'secret'. Consequences would come later he was sure of that, but after his body stopped trying to reject his eye. The thought did cause Kreig's large toe claws to tap the ground in a continuous and soft rhythm as eyes continued to shift from general to pilot.
----
"Y-yeah. Kind of hard not to run into anyone. Especially when they won't let anyone leave." He answered as he moved a hand to the back of his neck. Blue eyes shifted nervously from her organoid to her. "To be frank, I don't much like being crammed into a room while something strange is goin' on. One minute they say the general will be handing out tickets to the raffle, next general shows up and is tighter than all get out. I saw those dead soldiers miss..."
He shook his head. "I hear someone is goin' around killing off potential suitors for the organoids. Well... the last one anyways. I don't know about you, but it makes me wonder. Also makes me wonder why they haven't filed us all in rank yet. So they could see us all on one place... somethin' ain't right. "
The man's gaze briefly looked up to that of his three younger siblings across the way. They seemed to be in deep conversation....

If Blitz's concentration would have been on 'key' and not forced on the pain that gripped his mind, he might have had noticed the tightening of his General's jaw. Though at the moment all he could do was concentrate on looking ahead. His eye though squared on Nicodemus seemed to look past the leader.
'Tyger...Tyger...burning bright, In the forest of the night.' Blitz slowly whispered in his mind, as he too tried to listen to the General, and not the dagger that spit his skull.
'What immortal hand or eye. Could frame thy fearful symmetry?' Echoed though his mind as he made a slow swallow, he mentally smiled as most had not gotten the meaning of the poem right, and only knew it for that much.
His face remained stoic.
'In what distant deeps or skies, Burnt the fire of thine eyes?'
Masters took in a slow deep breath, and released it before letting his eye slip over to Kreig.
'On what wings dare he aspire?'
The Faithful Organoid, willing to defy the wish of his partner for his own safety.
'What the hand dare seize the fire?'
"Sir." Blitz answered as his teal eye slipped back to the general. His tone was simple and spoke the confirmation of Kreig's words. Though he had 'corrected' His leader, he gave him a 'respectful' answer. For a leader that said he cared about even the littlest of 'soldiers', and to be honest with them...
He would see how true it was for himself....
And Yes. what the Raptor said was true. What his partner said, was true and in well meaning.
The meaning of the poem that echoed and calmed his mind...it was ironic, and a famed one that the old settlers had enjoyed themselves back home. It was in a sense, depicting that one could not have light with out darkness.
Good with out the bad....It was all that it was. As darkness could not be such with out the light. Some would say more meaning about God and how one could create both the lamb and the tiger in reference to Jesus and the Devil. It was one thing that Blitz had always enjoyed about poetry and it's symbolism. Convulsively it was up to the reader.

Ratchet watched the pair walk away, remaining incredibly still for a long period of time- though not as impressive being a machine as it tended to be for the canines he resembled. Those gold eyes remained intent on them until they were quite a distance away. A safe distance. A reliable distance.
A distance he could match with his speed to intercept them should they turn around and try to stray again from the herd.
He lifted his head as soon as they were far enough away, emitting a high pitched excited bark- ears tilted up. He surveyed the crowd once, then took off to vanish beneath the towering legs of the multitude of parked zoids and continue his obsessive compulsive circling.
----
Confirmed.
It was unexpected to both of them to get the reply they received first. Defender being absent was rather surprising. Granted, he had been sent with them once on a special mission so perhaps not as surprising as they took it as.
The information in full was echoed over into Kai's mind, adjusted slightly to add words to the data streams that only he would have understood coming directly from the white stallion zoid.
/Appreciated./ Sakashi added, taking advantage (much to Edge's annoyance) of their open link to give some form of thanks to the stallion's reply. He wouldn't say anything, of course. He'd known she'd have tried something of the sort for such unfiltered clearance to Republic database.
Sakashi opened her eyes, and shifted forwards to no longer be leaning on her partner. It was never her method to use a middleman for anything. She was direct, and impulsive, and she turned to follow the three without saying anything else. Edge didn't follow- she'd told him not to in her own silent way. It was just this average sized, 5 foot 6 inch soldier now without her 'big bad bodyguard' tailing the three men.
"Treblet." She'd wait until they were a bit farther away from everyone before she spoke, her commanding voice calling them all for a halt by a singular word.

The bodyguard all to quickly relayed the information given to him from the medic. Nicodemus, having to lean a little to hear the message, only released a sigh as he righted his posture again. Attention turned to the organoid first.
"Retrieve the medication for your pilot." His command came as emotionless as a statue's words could one talk. Clarence was given to ratchet, however he was to execute a forceful core purge of the organoid should it try anything funny. Ixion himself would be on guard in case the raptor did anything aside his appointed task.
Kreig all to happily removed himself from the company as he darted back to the wing blade ZOID to retrieve the needed pills. It was amazing to say the least how skillfully the black organoid could weave through so many people and keep his surprisingly fast pace. He had a goal, a rather important goal, and was going to be sure his partner would get what he needed in a very short amount of time.
Once the raptor was off Nicodemus turned attention to the pilot. It would be pointless to interrogate him currently. Not until the pain was not so obvious upon his features. "Hang in there..."He offered as a stoic comfort to the soldier. At the speed Kreig was going he would return in no time at all...
The two medic's stood by, but claimed they could not give anything to ease the pain as they were not sure how it would react to the medication he had. The type of prosthetic likely used was a strange type and had a very specific medication that they unfortunately did not have on hand.
---
All three of the Treblet brothers turned their heads toward Kai. Oh crap... that one. Not only did she have the foreboding presence of an organoid, but the soldier herself was just plain eeire. The air about her was just something different. As if she could strangle a man with her mind.
But what to do? If they pretended not to notice, which would be hard to pretend as she clearly spoke their name, she would have the shadow of a dragon tear them apart. The general wouldn't mind. No doubt....
So the three brothers, Markus, Lucas, and Johndas, stood in file and gave her a very respectful salute. "Yes ma'am?" The tried their best to hide the wavering in their voice.

-'And what shoulder, and what art. Could twist the sinews of thy heart?'-
Masters took in a slow breath, sweat continued to meekly bead his brow as he look at his General. His inner sight read the achieves in his mind, as the single physical gaze started to blur out what was on the outer surroundings of his eye.
-'And when thy heart began to beat, what dread hand? And what dread feet?'-
A single bead of perspiration, slipped from from his jaw line and soundless flattened on the stone under his feet.
-What the hammer?...What the chain? In what furnace was thy brain?-
That teal single cold sharp gaze that singled out Nicodemus, fell just all the more closer to a close as a quick silent breath caused his chest to rise and fall. His thoughts no longer lead him, as they moved on their own out of memory.
-What the anvil? What dread grasp. Dare its deadly terrors clasp?-
His lips parted as if to say something, as the sound of a dry mouth left his unwanted mouth. Quickly he swallowed his body trying to help it in it's own strife.
"Then It's a good thing; I didn't loose my arm instead, General." Blitz answered finding it a lot harder to talk then he first thought. His arm quickly left his brow and found his other behind his back as he stood at still and vary -tight- attention.
As long as he could-he wasn't going to let the pain stop his conduct.
As disgruntled as he was, he was still a soldier.
Now, where was he in his thoughts...
'I -was- sick -- sick unto death with that long agony; and when they at length unbound me, and I was permitted to sit, I felt that my senses were leaving me....'
A smile slowly slipped across his lips at the appreciation of irony, as he quite honestly could only think of a 'story', by a more macabre poet...
It actually took a certain amount of effort not to laugh. Appreciation from his own thoughts-the brilliancy of it, he was as such as a prisoner that had been unwanted strapped to frame work as a pendulum swung mockingly above him moving-lowering, tantalizingly-mockingly and painfully, closer...and closer. For only his bounds loose enough to grant the hope of futile freedom and sweet release-only for it to come crashing-as he averted his eyes and the inquisition came to a sudden-
complex white. Gaze fell dark-yet, stubbornly a teal eye was still faintly open as Gravity took over just as it did with the pendulum and his sinked to a free fall where he stood.

At the glance, Aibou stared at the male while he continued conversing with his chosen. Something seemed off....He just couldn't put his paw on it.
At the mans' words, a sharp chill went down her spine; not even her companion gently pressing his warm body against her leg brought a measure of comfort.
They were hunting the suitors? Almost as if hearing her thoughts (Maybe he could?), Aibou let out a vicious growl at no one in particular. If anyone tried to get at the blonde, they would have to go through several pounds of claws and steels.
"I don't blame you. Im not much for crowded areas either." She paused and brushed wayward bangs out of her eyes. "I just pray that they find whoever is doing this. None of those poor soldiers deserved the fate handed to them."

Ratchet's ears perked, his bright gold eyes swiftly sweeping upwards as he saw Kreig dart towards the wing blade ZOID. The Clearance given made him uneasy. He didn't like change much. His metal-white forepaws shifted beneath him as he watched and waited for the raptor to do what he needed and leave.
"Clearance given. Clearance given." He mecha-bark-chattered out loud, though to himself more than anyone else. He didn't like the sheep leaving the herd, even if for a moment. Didn't like it at all. Ratchet whined quietly, the sound echoing through the metallic chamber of his maw to give it a far more ear-piercing resonance than necessary. It's a good thing he wasn't chosen as anyone's partner in particular. It would take a saint to tolerate him for long.
- - - -
Kai stopped as they stopped, her typical hands clasped behind her back stance adopted as she glared down.. er.. up at them. Her presence was always much larger than her physical self. But they obviously knew, and expected, that as soon as they heard her call them.
"What do you know about this situation? And where, exactly, are you three going?" There was an unspoken bite to her words. The lack of emotion aside from a natural harshness made any question seem more accusing and daunting than it may have been intended.

The general's expression remained as it was even after Blitz's comment. On a better day perhaps he would have found the slight snarkyness amusing, however, today was far from one of those days. Nicodemus cleared his throat and held eyes on the soldier in case his condition should get worse. Thankfully for Blitz as his gaze begun to look past reality the general acted, seeing as the medics remained cemented in the background as if to watch some sort of theatrical play.
With speed amazing for one of his size Nicodemus lurched forward to catch the gravity struck soldier so he could be eased to the ground without damage. The medics? Unhelpful... What had gotten over his soldiers? When he was sure he had Blitz in his grasp he turned his attention briefly to the rooted individuals behind. His face had begun to hue red as his temper begun to surface.
"Get a damned stretcher for this soldier!" He growled through clenched teeth. Regardless of a rumor, it was no reason to simply stand and watch one suffer. Where did they ever get the idea to be a medic in this military? Damned fools. Thankfully they got the message and couldn't have turned tail faster as they departed to retrieve what was 'asked' for. Even the bodyguards took a few steps back from the general as he snapped at the incompetent onlookers.
Kreig lept onto the ZOID's nose in one smooth motion. He had already signaled for the canopy to open as he approached and merely had to shuffle his delicate claws around the glove compartment for the desired medication. Once he had those he was out of the cockpit as smoothly as he had entered it. His head bobbled as he speed back to the general.
-Hang on Blitzy! Hang on...- He thought as he could will his legs to move faster no more. The medication had been placed safely in his maw just before he had evacuated the ZOID's cockpit.
His mind had been too distracted to really notice the canine organoid's whine. However, others attending the event shuttered at it.
---
"yeah, I hope they catch the b-" he held his tongue as he thought better to curse in front of a lady. A family taught value. "I hope they catch them and show no mercy in his trial..."
He looked across the way at his poor fated siblings whom had managed to catch the eye of the dreaded Black Dragon's pet. A soft breath passed his lips as he shook his head.
"Just hope people can keep their wits about them, Miss. I'd like to just get this day over with."
Eyes moved from his poor siblings to the wolf organoid as it released a growl. "Ah... it's not gonna bite is it?"
----
"Only t-that three o-of our friends are d-deceased, Ma'am." Markus answered as best as he could. "I-I wanted fresh air.. we all d-did."
Lucas, who was very close standing next to his brother, gave Markus a swift and subtle elbow to the side. As if that information was needed! The moron. only answer what was needed.
"T-to check on our ZOIDs, Ma'am." Johndus answered in place of Lucas. Oh this was a fine mess indeed....

She couldn't help it; letting out a nervous laugh as the man infront of her caught himself on the whim of a word, the cadet tilted her head to the side and offered a grin.
"You shouldn't be afraid to curse infront of someone. Heck, I would be shocked to find someone in the military who DIDN'T curse at least once a day." As gentlemen as they were, even her male relatives swore like sailors after a bar fight sometimes. Needless to say, it was something she simply shrugged at with indifference. But lips pressed thin with worry as she straightened and followed his gaze to where Kai had cornered three other young men in the hanger. It looked like they were up to no good to catch her eye but who was she to say?
Mya knew little about Kai herself. The cadet had no right to judge.
"Panic and fear does make humankind do strange and irrational things, doesn't it?" She sighed and looked back at him. "But I agree to both points. I would rather see this sicko caught and thrown into jail for the rest of his life for what he did. Plus...." A sigh. "I think everyone can do with a day off after what happens today."
A mumbled jumble of angry words at her feet.
A glance down and a raised eyebrow. "What's wrong, my friend?"
Aibou simply grunted and slouched over, head low and "hackles" raised in protective agression.
"It'll be fine." She soothed, to both man and machine. "If you don't give him a reason, he's not going to bite." But worry shot up as the General's hollar rang out across the Hanger. Looking back, Mya felt her eyes widen as he helped...was that Blitz? down to the floor. A side glance at a black/silver blur towards one of the ZOIDS only stayed for a moment. "Oh.....oh no....."
Had someone else been attacked?

Sakashi was unmoving, and even as their words became less and less believable, her expression was unchanged.
"Unfortunately, nobody has been given clearance to leave the premises." Her head tilted ever so slightly to the left to indicate the tirelessly roaming border collie organoid whose vibrantly glowing gold eyes peered briefly at the three men and Kai before moving on. He would glance at them every time he completed one of his elliptical circles around the hanger floor.
"So fresh air is not an option. Nor is checking on your Zoids." She looked from each of them in turn. "Both of which you knew. So I ask you again, and I expect a believable answer."
The attention, if brief, that she was getting from Mya and the man she was talking to was echoed to her over her mental link with the crouched black dragon that remained stone still where she'd left his side. Though she didn't ignore it, she didn't pay it any heed- yet.

As Blitz was caught by Nicodemus, his stubborn brow forwarded and clinched as his body struggled to not do what it was doing...passing out. Like quickly trying to reach the surface of the deeps of the ocean, seeing the surface only to be out of grasp. Struggling. Out of breath, telling one's self there almost there till renewed breath........
A grasped breath left Blitz as he grabbed and rested on the ground. The left side of his face twitched slightly, as his breathing remained at it's slightly heightened pace. Sweat remained worked on his brow...
His stubborn mind fought his body to wake, it was only as the searing pain of his eye. That caused him to jerk awake. It was like heated iron to vulnerable eye, as a vice clinched and fogged his mind.
Then suddenly, his face relaxed and his still seeing eye fell partly close as he figured where he was and his mind caught up to the fact-that he had only just passed out.
"Well, this is embarrassing..." Surprisingly, the Soldier spoke dully, this would not be anything he would want to repeat to anyone-yet, -everyone- had just witnessed it. Oh cruel fate....
Letting out a annoyed breath, Blitz let his eye close and his jaw clinched as he tried to focus and control his breathing. It was vary difficult as his mind wanted to point out the continuous of the pain gripping and clinching the side of his head.
One did reap what they so foolishly sowed.

Nicodemus held concentration on the lad as the 'helpful' group dispersed to complete their appointed tasks. Everything looked alright, aside the being passed out part and the obvious pain inscribed upon the man's features. Duh. It was a bit of a relief when the man woke up again.
"Understatement..." Nicodemus sighed in response to not Blitz, but the actions of his soldiers at this event. Eyes widened a bit as he realized the word was spoken a little louder than it should have. Not to mention he was still knelt by the soldier's side. "Your organoid should be back soon..."
He added feeling very much that asking him if he was 'okay' was a terrible run around the bush. The man looked like he was in an imminence amount of pain. What better way to aid that, but with a distraction.
Nicodemus drew a deep breath. "And when this 'event' is sorted out we will deal with your superior officer and his lack of communication. You will have an official promotion..."
No sooner did Nicodemus finish his last word did Kreig come blazing up to them followed by an impressive stop. Evidence of how long it took him to stop fully was found upon the concrete floor.
The black raptor lowered his nose, craning his neck a bit, so he could drop the pills in Blitz's hands.
"There ya go. See, hopeless without me huh Blitzy? You got the poems, but I got the sense." The organoid croaked nervously in a sort of strange mechanical noise as he poked at Blitz's hand.
Judas sighed and nodded his head slowly. "It was how I was raised, miss. Soldier or none."
Reluctantly his eyes peeled away from his doomed brothers. The morons. They really needed to learn to act as a proper soldier to one of such a high rank.
"People do, and I am ashamed it seems my own siblings have become a prime example... if you please, excuse me." The man tipped his brow before turning toward his siblings.
"N-no, we..." Markus begun to speak but his voice was lost to a sea of mumbles. Lucas tried to pick up only to have the same issue. Her eyes, this soldier was so calculating so different. If the three didn't know any better they would have believed her to have been a completely different entity.
"That is what we were doing, ma'am." Johndas finally spoke up with as much bravery as he could muster. "We-" His words were cut short as Lucas upholstered his gun and pointed it at Kai. His eyes seemed... distant. Not fearful of -her- as they had been a moment ago, but rather lost to a nightmare.
Edge, as well as Kreig (but not as strong as edge) would feel a familiar dark presence about the room.
"STOP JUDGING US! STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT STOP IT! GET AWAY! GET AWAY!"
Gunfire sounded from the other side of the hanger. Needless to say, the two medics would not be returning with that stretcher.

Ice cold eyes stared down the barrel of a gun.
Stare shifted ever so slightly to look beyond the barrel and into the eyes of the weapon's wielder.
"You do not want to do this, soldier." Her voice was as cold as her eyes. Though her stance didn't change- for this certainly wasn't the first time she's looked directly at that which would kill her- her tone did, but just one more dangerous degree.
Edge remained unworried, despite his partner being at gunpoint. That was, until his sensors flicked 'on,' triggered immediately to the faintest touch of the dark presence.
It is here. The black dragon stood, hissing savagely, bladed tail swaying in long strokes from side to side. If the gunshots didn't upset the now likely panicking crowd enough, the sudden eruption of growling and hissing would certainly make it worse. But he stood his ground, waiting for the moment of need should it arise. It has him. He will shoot.
Sakashi's head dipped slightly, eyes narrowing with the knowledge of facing a different enemy. An unpredictable enemy. Humans were easy. The control of the darkness was not. "Put your gun down. Now. You can still make a choice."

Blitz let his eyes close, as he took a swallow his torso moved with the whole motion as his throat was dry and it was difficult to do so. His face was shiny with sweat-one might mistake him for a vampire, it glistened so.
A smile slipped on his pale complexion at the Leader's agreeing words.
"I am sorry, General." Master's spoke, his apology was wholesome in it's entirety, how it slipped his lips quietly-but how it slipped his mouth seemed as if it grasped more then just this moment, but rather grab on to -his- whole being. He knew he was a disappointment as a 'Masters' compared to his father. Not whole by skill-as his eye was taken, but his spirit had been broken and his show of honor had pitfall to disrespect. His father had been a noble and honoring man. A great soldier and a even better man. And the name that was carried by the sole remaining Masters, was for lack of a better word-or perhaps, it was the perfect one- was 'Blitzed' into nothing....
A man that had so taken by the irony and committing others to mockery.
He was the biggest court fool that was masked in his own irony.
' why does a cage bird sing? Some would say for the hope of better things or even for the sound of a freedom's ring.
Yet, one could only pity the captive. as the gateway is open, the path unobstructed.
The frightening unknown, pinions it's wings. Perhaps, this is why the cage bird truly sings. a encouraging cry to flap it's wings to be free.'
Irony....
Which couldn't be heard louder as Nicodemus spoke of a official promotion, and a ripping to be had for his lead in charge.
Still the fool couldn't help but crack a little smile, Fearful symmetry, indeed....
His brow creased in a stab of pain as his head turned to try to look all the man, more then just great in stature. Thin lips parted as he was about to speak his underinvestment of such a thing. To only be saved by his partner.
"Yes,....." Blitz smiled all the more with a frowned brow. "All the sense, my friend." His hand slowly shifted to the nose of his raptor hero. His finger's feeling the metal, they rose one by one only to fall in the same order. Before he rotated his wrist to grab the pills.
Laying on his back, his body flinched as he heard the gun shots. His eyes closed
"Sir, I think your assistance is needed with the Miss G.I. Jane..." Blitz spoke, his overcompensating hearing had picked up some kind of scuffle that hummed with her own voice...
"With, all the respect due...." Blitz cracked a smirk....
