KEIKO HIMURA The rain poured as I walk through what seemed like another abandoned city. Right, Left, Right, Left... My boots sounded heavy as they came in contact with the muddy earth. Left, Right, Left, Right... It's been only two days since Kato-- no, I won't think about that, not now. Not when there's still so much at stake. Breathe in, then out. In. Out. Left. Right. Keep. Moving. I tried to listen for the sounds of Them, but the storm made it near impossible to see, let alone hear. Thunder struck, giving a quick glimpse of my surroundings. Figures everywhere, but that was to be expected. As long as they didn't see me, I was fine. Just keep moving...

jaq rested easy against a wall his assault rifle hung from his chest his finger on the trigger guard as he was trained to do, he shook his head trying to shrug off the tiredness he was feeling, it had been days since he had last slept but it was his night to perform guard duty and he would not let himself sleep and be the cause of his death and that of his companions.

KEIKO HIMURA I stopped walking, just long enough to catch my breath. Wiping my soaked hair out of my face, I tried to make out the shapes of mangled bodies trudging along the streets. Something grabbed my arm, yanking me towards the ground. Gasping, I tried to escape my captor's grasp. I pulled out my knife, stabbing wildly in its direction. Its hold loosened long enough to grab my gun and shoot. It fell to the ground, blood disappearing with the falling rain. Damn, now I've done it. I turned to see silhouettes moving slowly in my direction. Grabbing my bat, I began to run.

jaq stirred slightly in a half sleep state when his sense were fully alerted by a gun shot that run out in the distance. jaq raised his rifle some and looked back at the door he took a large bar and blocked the door with it and started to run down the street to look for the gunshot.

KEIKO HIMURA I raced up the street, my feet barely touching the ground. My pursuers were chasing at a slower, yet constant pace. My throat burned, my lungs gasping for air as my heart pounded against my ribcage. But I knew I mustn't stop, for even as the distance between us lengthened, I knew they wouldn't tire. They would never feel the energy slowly fading, muscles losing strength, knees buckling from the unending chase, the sudden blackness as they lose consciousness... No, don't think like that. Not now, not ever. Just... have to find... higher ground... The rain continued to pour, the lightning lit up my path; perhaps even my final path. It was only a matter of time... After all, I was only human.

jaq ran through the rain his eyes sweeping the streets looking for the individual who had fired the gunshot, he ran hard and fast his body tiring at a slow pace as he was used to the running, he ran for several minutes when he started to hear the racing feet of another person he raised his rifle into the air and fired a single shot to alert the other person to his location. he could now only hope the individual would hear it and come to him.

KEIKO HIMURA My body ached and my pace slowed as my energy slowly wore out. I stopped running to catch what was looking like my last breath. Then a shot rung out, loud as thunder, somewhere in front of me. I tried to focus my eyes, looking around the direction of the shot. I could barely make out the shape of someone, definitely not an infected, no more than ten yards from where I was standing. "I'm here! They're close behind me!" Waving my arms and running, I closed the distance between me and my rescuer. "They'll be here in a minute. I hope you brought ammo."

jaq spotted the girl that had been running in the rain he signaled for her to get behind him as he took up a firing position.
"dont worry about them just get behind me and ill take care of it."
he breathed in and out slowly readying himself for the coming group of infected

KEIKO HIMURA I shook my head, a little annoyed at his male confidence. "There's too many. And besides, I won't let you have all the fun." To prove my point, I reloaded my pistol and aimed toward the hoard of Them who were slowly closing in.

jaq looked over to her and nodded his approval liking her attitude and confidence, he took aim and fired of a shot hitting a running infected in the head.

KEIKO HIMURA ...Miss? We're in danger of our lives, and he's still formal about it...? That's new. Shaking my head, I take aim and shoot down three more of Them. Firing round after round, we mercilessly level many of the infected. And yet they kept coming; It seemed for every one we shot, another took it's place. "There's too many!"

jaq ket his attention focused on the closing in infected taking shot after shot hitting all targets dead center in the head, he emptied a magazine killing about 15 infected with is, he pulled another mag from his vest and slammed it into the rifle and cocked his rifle, the horde seemed to be less and less with each one killed now he thought now might be the time to make a run for it
"listen to me when i say so i want you to turn and run look for a medical building i will meet you there."

Vincent's escape pod landed in front of some survivors squishing and ramming a large number of infected it then rolled taking more zombies before hitting a group of tree's that stopped the pod. Vincent trying to regain consciousness looked at the monitor of out side and saw the battle taking place
