Yes, the dragon is lovely! biggrin I didn't like the mic at first but after seeing all the positions the bag & bracelet ones look ok.

I wasn't sure about this month's items, but I'm coming round to them... the dragon is actually quite cute, and the mic is good in some of the poses. xd

So, after the latest storyline update, do you think it looks like we may be getting an alien invasion, just in time for Halloween? OMG – I don’t know if I can cope… >.O I didn’t like the sound of the grunny battles and zombification last year, and was glad I missed it. xd

Peachy turned into a stage one zombie last year  i don't think they'll repeat an event that runs the same way as last years, there was a lot of 'elitist' behavior in the forums and the Admins were less than happy about it. You had to 'collect' grunnies last year, you did this by posting after someone in the forum who had a higher grunnie count than you, this caused a LOT of nastiness from the teen element on the site. initially people opened up threads stating the grunny count of the people posting within, so you knew which ones to post in to get to the next level, but when people with much lower counts started posting in them people got really nasty! banning them from the threads, and giving the threads really nasty titles to keep people with lower counts away. when the Christmas event was launched, Santa have some cutting comments to make about elitism, which amused me no end 3nodding so it will be interesting to see how this year's Hallowe'en event pans out. but one thing is certain, Gaia will be glitching out all over the place and running at snail's pace when most of the US is online rolleyes

I think there's been two of those big, forum based events since I joined - the Masquerade Ball at New Year, and the Anniversary Ball. They're quite fun, but I learned from the first one and didn't really bother trying to talk to people on the forums the second time around, because the threads move so fast, it's impossible to keep up a proper conversation, which takes the shine off it a bit. It took about five hours to get all the items at the New Year event, which was a bit like hard work... xp Then Easter came as a nice surprise, where you could just do what you normally do in Gaia, and eggs kept flying across the screen all the time! lol

i went egg chasing in towns at Easter, you've never seen anything so funny!!
They bounced across the grass, and when you tried to catch them they hid!
i went after one and it went behind a house so i couldn't see it to catch it, so i went around the house the other way, and while i was doing that it snuck off and hid behind a tree!! scream i was nearly crying with laughter by the time i'd caught the full 10.
They'd waggle their ears at you as they bounced past too, in what looked to be a rather rude gesture rofl

blaugh Yes, I caught one set of eggs in Towns, just to see what it was like, but it took such a long time, I went back to browsing and posting and having the eggs fly at me like there was no tomorrow... lol I loved the Robo Easter Bunny - he's a great NPC! xd
