"'Kay. Middle of the street works too." Vanessa mumbled to herself quietly, wishing she was as calm as Aaron was. She wasn't big on the magic thing, especially because she wasn't a magic user herself. She stood back up and brushed off the debris that had gotten on to her quietly. The red haired girl lifted her gaze at Aaron and rose an eyebrow. "Explain. I'm waiting." Vanessa wasn't big on killing things just because they were different from her, she just loved killing in general. But she supposed she would wait for an explanation first. She couldn't just kill two magical people herself, after all.

Clone kept walking, making sure not to trip this time. Her shoulder gently brushed against Clayton's arm "Oh, ah, sorry." she said softly, taking a small step to the side.

Benevolent Rose Jeremy, Clayton and Lizz made it to the streets of midland Curtesia. Ash and Gina doted on Clayton the whole way, telling stories about how cute he was as a child and how Tilly and Danny used to hate each other (Danny used to swear Tilly was an idiot while Tilly was sure Danny was a stuffy know-it-all) and before they knew it, they were on the ground and in the streets. Gina and Ashley gave Lizz and Clayton their address so that they could stay at Peggy's (Ash's sister) house, where many of the freaks from this traveling false freak show had retired away from Torusa and now living in Curtesia. To this moment, Clayton still doesn't know WHY Lizz was here. "Hey, why don't you and Dr. Hughes chat, and I'll meet you at the house, Lizz. I gotta go shopping an' get me some stuff ta wear and whatnot." "Ah, do you have currency?" Jeremy asked, and Clayton paused, remembering his wallet was back in Torusa. "Ah, you won't do well without currency, here." Jeremy gave him a card, and Clayton raised an eyebrow. "Yer givin' me... Money? But you don't know me that well, what if I overspend or steal this?" Jeremy just smiled, "I trust you." Lizz smiled with relief as Clayton was being taken away, and her real reason for being here could be talked about openly. She knew if Clayton knew why they were here he would be more than pissed. "Don't worry Clayton I'll be fine" she said smiling brightly.

"Well then, Lizz..." Jeremy said with a brilliant smile. "I suppose we should begin... If you would please follow me." Jeremy started the opposite way Clayton went, and walked calmly, as if they really had no hurry.
"Ah..." Aaron started, and then Hannah intervened.
"You see," she said, "We are what you would call a 'zodiac.'" She said, using actual air quotes. "I'm the year of the horse... I can regenerate so any would, no matter how deep or fatal, will heal right up. Aaron here's the goat." She pointed at a pissed looking Aaron. "He can kick a**, literally. And he's telepathic. It's pretty cool."
"Hannah, shut UP." Aaron said through clenched teeth, "If you please... No offense, but you are a pirate. We don't need to explain ourselves." He started to shove Hannah away. "Come on, Hannah, let's go home."
Clayton felt her brush against him, and he turned a little pink automatically. "Naw, just be careful, alright? Another spill an' you'll bruise the fruit," He joked. "You sure you don't need any help?"

Clone nodded, adjusting her grip on the bag. "I'll be fine." she said with a small laugh. "We're almost there~." She added.

Vanessa nodded as Hannah spoke, her gaze flickering from the girl to Aaron every once in a while. 'Does that boy have some type of issue?' She didn't understand why he looked so angry. After Aaron cut Hannah off, she understood why he was so angry. "Just 'cause I'm a pirate? I suppose you're Mr. Great-Goody-Two-Shoes, then." She scowled right back at him, fingering her gun, which was hidden by her coat. Vanessa was itching to shoot him, but that would just make her look bad.

"Pirates pillage and steal." Aaron said, looking angry. "They shoot first and ask questions later. All you want is treasure or gadgets. Like someone like you would care about people like us."
"JEEZ Aaron, way to profile." Hannah cut in. "What if she could help us, huh? Looks like the Order is looking to kill her too, so if we work together..."
Clayton chuckled lightly, and then replied, "Well alright, can't wait ta see this place."

Clone smiled brightly and approached the entrance of the restaurant."Here we are~!" she said cheerfully. She attempted to open the door while holding the bag but she nearly ended up spilling its contents again.

"Of course we have to kill and pillage and steal. How else are we s'posed to ********' survive?" Vanessa glowered at Aaron, her voice calm but menacing. She took her hand off her gun and lifted both of her hands, showing him there was nothing in them. "If I was s'posed ta shoot first, I would've shot ya a long time ago." Her scowl was still evident as she crossed her arms in front of her. "You're right though. I couldn't care less 'bout people like ya, because I have ta ********' care for myself ta survive. There's nothin' else to it. There's no one else ta care for..," she trailed off and was quiet for a few seconds, her eyes downcast, before she turned her angry gaze back up again.
"And don't ya think I would've killed your friend here? Ya must be goddamn stupid. Does it look like I hurt your friend? Heck, I even told 'er--" Vanessa was cut off as Hannah began to speak, her furious glare never once leaving Aaron. 'Work together? I think not!'

Lizz followed Jeremy "I'm sorry but I'm a bit lost as to why I am here.....I mean how did you know to contact me and why did you send me those...pictures" She said trying to get the pictures out of her head. "And..where are we going?"

"Ah, you have lots of questions. Don't worry, you'll figure everything out. But it's necessary, see, to show you little by little." Jeremy replied, continuing his walk.
"Do you even know what you pirates do to innocent people?!" Aaron cried, and Hannah went in front of him. "Aaron, Aaron calm down. Forget what she is for a minute. HE knows about THEM. And he also wants pirates eradicated. And that stunt with the gun, all three of us are targets, I know it. We HAVE to work together, or ALL of us could..."
Aaron calmed down, and finished what she couldn't say. "Disappear..." With a sigh, he looked at the pirate. "What's your name?"
Clayton quickly went to help her with the spilled contents, laughing lightly. "Wow, nice digs, babe." He said lightheartedly. "Ya got a really homey place here."

Vanessa rolled her eyes at Aaron's cry. "O' course I know what we do. I'm a pirate," she retorted, before quieting as Hannah spoke again. As the pirate stared blankly at the girl, she didn't know what to feel. If she stuck with these two, she could find interesting things and be safer. If she didn't, she wouldn't have to deal with this annoying boy. When Aaron asked for her name, though, she decided she'd rather be safe. "Vanessa," she said curtly, the frown still on her face. "My last name is none o' your business. An' I suppose you're Aaron. Nice to meet 'cha," she murmured sarcastically. To her, it most certainly was not nice.

"The feeling is mutual," Aaron replied through gritted teeth before Hannah chimed in again.
"I'm Hannah, its great to meet you, Vanessa! Well, since we're all on the run, how about we run, huh? Hold on a sec..." Hannah went behind a building, and she threw her clothes aside until one would suspect she was naked. "Aaron, could you get that?!"
Aaron sighed, and went to pick up Hannah's clothes, and then from where Hannah disappeared, there came a reddish brown horse. The mare whinnied lightly, and Aaron sighed. "Well, I guess we're going by horseback." Aaron put Hannah's clothes in a backpack he had, then got on the back of the horse. He was hesitant, but offered his hand down to Vanessa in order to help her on top of the horse.
Jeremy laughed lightly, "You'll get used to the vagueness. But here's the first thing I have to show you..." They started to head inside a field. This field had depressions in the ground and sticks sticking out of the ground. Then some had stones, and only about one every ten square yards had so much as a name on them. It became easy to see that they walked in on a graveyard.
"Please watch your step, so as not to disturb the dead... This graveyard is a mass of deaths during a riot three years ago. There were so many, and so many were hiding that a lot of their identities were unknown. The owner of the place had a daughter who died in the massacre, which is why he made this graveyard but... It's been unkept, since he dies only a week after building this place."
Jeremy stopped in front of... Well, it looked like nothing at first. Just a random spot, really. But there was a rock in front of him. a rock with only a name etched on it. 'Peng.' It didn't even have a last name.

Lizz followed a bit unsure of walking into a random field. She saw the stones along the way, she quickly caught on as to what they were. Were these people that were in the pictures she had received from Jeremy? Listening to his story she nodded silently her eyes scanning the stones, names she had never heard of, few last names she knew but that was rarer in and of its self.
Looking down at the spot they had stopped infront of, Lizz saw the stone...and Pengs name. Her heart quickly stopped and her stomach squeezed into a tiny ball; tears poured from her face immediatly, she hadn't prepared herself for the possibility of him being dead much less of seeing his grave the instant she arrived. Her hatred for Curtesia grew with every second.
Color drained from her face and her knees gave out instantly, her mind was telling her body to scream but she couldn't.....hysteria (loss of motor skills due to an emotional event) quickly claimed her yet again. Her eyes were fixed on his name and her body was shocked and terrified; she was shaking as she cried hugging herself.
