Hawkpaw followed her mentor into the clearing, she placed her catch into the pile and picked some thing for the elders and for Mudfur. She clenched two fishes between her jaws and brought one to the elders. She padded into Mudfur's den. She gave the RiverClan medicine cat the other fish she had. After offering fresh-kill to him she trotted out of his den. She approached the fresh-kill pile again and got her self some thing. After gulping down the remains of the kill she groomed her self. Hawkpaw stretched and walked into the apprentices' den. She curled up in a nest of heather and drifted off into a deep sleep.

Shimmerkit nudged the vole towards Sppotedstar. "You have it." She whispered and laid her head on her paws.

Shadowclaw watched the two apprentices as they hunted."Lets check the borders.We don't want any thing happening when Graystars asleep."

Shimmerkit watched him purring contently and closed her eyes. "Do you have any blind cats.. Or old cats here?" She mewed and looked up at him

"oh. . . I was just wondering because I've always wanted to listen to their stories.." She paused and sneezed. "oh.. Would you tell me some of your stories?" She asked shyly

Hawkpaw awaken and stretched her stiff limbs and padded out of the apprentices' den. She headed for the river and sat at the edge, embracing the breeze that flowed and ruffled her fur. A leaf flapped with the wind. Hawkpaw turned her attention to the leaf and chased after it. She batted it until it landed in the water of the river and drifted away with the rushing water. Hawkpaw made an attempt to still chase it. She jumped into the water and swam toward the leaf. Paddling her paws on the rushing surface of water. A massive wave of water hit her and drowned her. She was able to make it up to the surface until the waves threw her against a rock. She fell limp and another wave of water hit her. She woke up back on shore. She smelt the horrid stench of two-legs. Then mingled with that stench was a scent of dog. She turned around to see a huge dog, jaws gaping at her. The dog clenched her between its jaws and bit down on her small body, throwing her around. Hawkpaw yowled in pain. Then right before her eyes the dog bit down on her head and every thing went black. Hawkpaw opened her eye to see Mudfur. He looked down at her, sympathy ruled his gaze as he stared down at her. She noticed that she couldn't see out of one of her eyes.

Scarpaw nodded. She covered the rabbit with rocks for later. She bounded over to Shadowclaw. She wasn't an apprentice anymore. She was supposed to be a warrior, just Greystar hasn't given her a name yet.

Shadowclaw let the two cats down the Riverclan border and headed to the shadowclan border.

Scarpaw helped remark the territory borders where they were weakest. She liked fighting and all but she never wanted to kill another cat or start an all out war.
