Anabelle tugged at herdress to straighten it then turned and smiled. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself."Stephan nodded. "I really do love sleeping with you my love. It's the only way for me to finds peace."Lyla opened her drowsy eyes and looked up at him. "Do you have to leave again?" she had a little trace of sadness in her voice. She had remembered what she'd said earlier and blushed a little. "Sorry," she said before rolling so that her back faced him.Ryu looked up when he heard Miyuki coming down the stairs. Those darn maids would be the death of him. "You're beautiful." He said it without really thinking better of it. It kinda spilled our without him realizing it as he thought it.Luke chuckled and brushed his lips against Eric's brow. "Sweet Eric. How could you not?"

 Miyuki blushed. Beautiful? Her heart skipped a beat. She bowed, "T-thank you, Sir Ryu." She replied. Why did she feel like this? She had butterflies in her stomach and her heart was a flutter."Thanks." He laughed nervously. Blake cleared his throat and offered his arm, "Shall we?"Find peace? Lucia stared at him for a few moments, not sure what to say. For she felt the same. There was something about it when they were together that helped her relax. The silence between them lasted for a few more moments before Lucia, heart pounding, spoke, "I-if you don't mind, I would like to try an experiment... Could you close your eyes?""No, but I did miss you're smile while you were sleeping." He chuckled as she turned over, apologizing. "Lyla, I was thinking, whilest you were sleeping, and I want you to know something." He made her turn over and gently grabbed her chin so she looked at him, "I think I now know why I kepted you for all that time when I was still a hunter."The small boy smiled, his forehead tingling where Luke's lips were, "I just wanted to make sure." He again rested his head on Luke's chest, then peeked up at him, "Luke, promise you'll never leave me, please?"

Anabelle hooked her arm under his and grabbed his elbow. She let him lead the way to the carriage.dressStephan lifted a brow in confusion but closed his eyes. What could she mean to do?Lyla looked at him questioningly. "What?" she asked cutely unaware.Ryu looked worried as her face reddened, "Are you okay?"Luke's eyes softened as he answered, "Of course. I'll be with you always, Eric."

"Yes! Of course I'm fine!" She replied. Miyuki laughed nervously, "R-really, I'm fine, Sir Ryu." She wasn't sure if she was fooling him, but she wasn't fooling herself. There was nothing bad wrong with her, she was just a bit confused. But, Miyuki was happy right now. Happy to be in his presence. She smiled at him, "I hope you enjoy the teea today. Miss Marta and I made it together."Blake smiled and led her to the carriage. His foot man held it open for them, "Ladies first." Blake insisted, helping Anabelle into the carriage, then climbing in after her. The door shut behind them and the driver peeked in through the small window, "To his Highness Prince Ryu's castle, please." The driver nodded and off they went. The sound of the horses trotting flowed in as they picked up speed. "I see you finally decided to where a dress Eric made for you. How do you like it?"Ok, this is just to see if you do, Lucia. If there are fireworks and all that, then you do. But if you don't, then you need to have him find someone else... She thought after Stephan's eyes were closed. Her breathing was slow now, trying to calm herself before she started. Lucia leaned in and first placed her head on his chest, listening to his heart. She could hear it pound and it echoed in her head. The warm blood pumping through his veins. It made her thirsty, yes, but not like others. It was more controlled, to where she didn't need it, but still craved it. Next, she sat back up and held his face in her hands. They pulsated as their skin touched and her faintly beating heart leaped. Her fingers traced his jaw, his nose, skimmed over his eyes, and finally lightly touched his lips, her next target. Lucia stopped, breathing in deeply, staring at him. Then, finally, she removed her fingers, leaned in, and softly pressed her lips to his. And in that moment, the bells were ringing in her head."Well, at first, I'll admit, you were just a sort of pet." He replied, a bit embarrassed, "But as time went on, I really did come to deeply care for you. And after you told me that you were in love with me, I.." Fiyero laughed, "To make a long story short, I think I've fallen for you as well. You see, I do want to help the other gijinka with this rebellion thing, but the real reason I started it was because of you. I want you to live a life without fear. With freedom and the chance to choose your future.""Good." He sighed in relief. This was a dream come true for him. Being with one he loved with all his heart, him returning his feeling, and then promising him that they'd be together always. And in that tender moment, Eric was finally able to tell Luke what he had been dying to tell him, "I love you."

Anabelle pulled at the hem. "It's a little different. I still don't like dresses but I promised Eric I would the next time we went over for tea." She didn't look up at him as they spoke. She hadn't been looking up at him for a while now. Ever since she realized her feelings she just got too nervous around him. dressStephan rose a brow as he waited for her to do what she was going to do and his eyes shot open when her lips touched his. He closed his eyes again as he slowly reached up with his right hand and cupped her cheek. He would let her pull away when she wanted but he still wanted to have more contact with her before it happened.Lyla's eyes welled up with tears at his confession and she hugged him by throwing her arms round his neck. "Fiyero, even with freedom, the only place I belong is with you."Ryu smiled down at her. "In that case I'm sure I'll like it very much."Luke brought the boy to his chest and kissed the top of his head. "My sweet boy. I've loved you longer than you could ever know." It was true too. He'd always taken care of Eric since he was a child. Then he loved the boy in a purely paternal way but as he grew older Luke found his love becoming a very different one.

Miyuki smiled happily, "Good, I'm glad." she giggled. Her tail swished back and forth as she looked out the door as they waited for Blake and Anabelle, noticing a photographer sneak around in the bushes. "Sir Ryu," She peeked up at the tall boy, "Why are the photo people around so much lately?""Well that was very kind of you to do that for him." Blake chuckled, "And it looks fantastic on you." He glanced at her and noticed that she was looking down. She had been doing that for awhile now. But why? "Belle, are your feet really that interesting?"Their kiss lasted for a moment or so more before she pulled back to stare at him. Her breathing slow like before and her head spinning. So it was official. This idiotic dunder head that she didn't understand before was now the one that made her barely beating heart keep going. Her face went red, "I'm sorry," Lucia looked down, " That was a little sudden, wasn't it?""Then I promise." Fiyero took her hand and placed it over his heart with his other her's, "From the bottom of my heart, I promise that I will make this world a free place for you and be with you always.""Really?" Eric smiled. Now that he thought about it, Luke had always been there, caring for him. "I'm so glad." He leaned up and kissed him. It would have lasted longer, but then his cell rang. The small boy pouted, disappointed that the ringing ruined the moment. He sighed and rolled over, digging in his pants pocket on the ground till his found the phone. "Hello?... Oh, Madam Gorgatelli, Bonjourno." He went into a conversation in Italian for about 5 minutes, "Si.... si.... Si. Gratci, Madam. Arivadelchi." He hung up and sighed, pouting again, "I have to finish Madam's gown for the upcoming ball now. But.... I want to stay with you..."

Anabelle jumped, "-Oh, um, not really." She decided looking out the window was probably a better choice so she did just that. dressStephan grinned at her. "Naw it was great. And seeing your face all red makes it even better." He still had his hand on her cheek so he used it to raise her face then he kissed her forehead. "I knew from the moment I met you I'd never be able to resist you.Lyla was crying again((oh boy)). "I promise to always be on your side. Because it is my deepest wish that you be happy."Ryu sighed dejectedly. "With the slave's revolution going on they want to see how those in high society are reacting to it. What they don't realize is that a lot of the royals on this half of the country already made sure their slaves didn't want for anything so they haven't left us. Did you know that you aren't the only one I ask the question of, 'Are you happy?'"Luke smiled. "I have to get up and make my rounds but when I'm done I'll come find you. Is that alright?"

The little cat girl shook her head. "I see." There was silence again as Miyuki went into deep thought. It was obvious Ryu was kinder to slaves than most to all masters she's seen, but what was his opinion of the rebellion? Did he agree with them? That the gijinka slaves have the right to be free too. She peeked up at him from the corner of her eye. It seemed like he would, but then again, a gijinka never knew this day and age.Blake laughed, smiling grimly, "You know, if I didn't know any better, I would think you've been trying to avoid me." He frowned, "I hope that's not the case, Ann. I thought we were starting to get along quite fine."Lucia looked up in shock, "Really? Is that why you insisted on being my partner from the beginning?" She asked. This was different from the usual confident vampire Princess. She was actually quite vulnerable from this discovery of love. Love for another, besides for her family, was new to her. The thought of it always bored her. But now she felt oddly.... happy. Fiyero smiled, "Good." And with that, he leaned in his face to her's and captured her lips in their first kiss. "Never leave me, Princess."Eric nodded, "Yes please." With that, the boy got up from the bed and dressed himself. He looked in the mirror, seeing his hair messed up. "I guess," He fixed his hair, "This is goodbye till then." There was something in him that made it sting as those words left his lips. Well, Luke did say he would feel incomplete with out him. And he was turning out to be right. Damn....

Anabelle covered her blushing cheek with her hand. "I'm not avoiding you. Nothing's wrong." God couldn't he just drop it. ((NO!!! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! he won't.))dressStephan smiled a genuine smile for once. "Yes, and you wouldn't believe how many strings I had to pull. Even at the top of the ranks I had to do a lot of tasks to get the spot of your partner."Lyla melted against him and into the kiss. As always she would surrender herself to him.((I had an idea and you don't have to agree to it but I thought it would add a little drama if the hunters threatened to kill Fiyero if Lyla doesn't leave him.He wouldn't know about it from the beginning and Lyla would leave. She would eventually go on about how she kept her promise to him of always being on his side not by it.)) Ryu looked down at Miyuki when she became silent and he could see the wheels turning in her head. He reached down and grabbed her hand. "If I had it my way, there never would have been slaves in the first place. When the time comes I will grant you the freedom to go and do as you please." He would never be the same again if she left him but he would never keep her prisoner.Luke smirked that knowing smirk. "Yes. I'll see you soon." He got out of bed himself and began dressing into the butler uniform he'd been out of for a day. Things would indeed be hectic when he met with the workers. He never did like calling people slaves even if he wasn't one himself.

Sir Ryu must have been physic. He answered her question right there. "Really?" She smiled at the thought. Freedom. It was something she hadn't experienced, or if she ever did, she didn't remember what it was like. She stood in front of him, taking his hand and squeezing it, "You really don't know what it's like hearing that, Sir Ryu. Freedom is something we all dream of.""Are you sure? If not, then what's up, An?" Blake asked, scooting over closer to her."You were always stubborn and determined." She chuckled. Lucia placed her forehead on his, "Well, I can say now that I'm glad it was you who was assigned to me. I must admit, at first I wasn't happy about it one bit, but you've become a large part of me. A part I can't live without. And I-" She looked down again and her cheeks were red once more, "I love you."He chuckled, "I'm guessing you've been waiting for this day for awhile, eh?" Fiyero smiled gently and took her into his arms, sitting her in his lap. He caressed her check, looking into her eyes, "Well then, it's my pleasure to make your dream come true." And he kissed her once more. ((I like the idea of the conflict, but let me take it so it fits in and makes sense with the story.))Eric stood outside the bedroom door, watching as Luke walked away, his confidence falling. He was now craving Luke, his touch. Damn vampire butler was right. The wizard Prince sighed, turning on his heel and walked to his studio to finish the gown.

Anabelle would've pressed herself more closely to the side of the carriage if she could. "I can't say."dressStephan chuckled. "I already knew that. I love you too." He kissed her nose.Lyla blushed. Jeez he was so cheeky sometimes, but she loved that part of him too.((Where is this going?))((What would you do?)) Ryu smiled. "I know it is my dear." He brought her hand up and kissed her knuckles. "Do you know how important you've become to me?"Luke did his rounds. It was going to take a while.

((Ok, well, I was thinking:
That the Hunter's council is trying to find a weakness in Fiyero and they notice that he's protective of Lyla. They figure if Lyla is out of the way, he'll become vulnerable. So they approach her, like you said and tell her what you said, but add that if she complys, they'll give her her freedom, taking her to a land in the world that forbids the Hunters from entering and the Gijinka are free and equal like everyone else. This land is unheard of because the Hunters keep this place hidden from everyone. So Lyla will go, but maybe what will happen is that she goes there and eventually returns and helps the rebellion make their version of the underground railroad. Of course, for it to work, she keeps Fiyero in the dark.))

"Important?" Miyuki tilted her head, "I'm important, Sir Ryu?" "And why not?" Blake was starting to get a little peeved, "Why can't you tell me? Can you at least give me the pleasure of know that?"Lucia smiled and rested her head on his chest. "I have a new goal now, for I now know how Fiyero feels for the other gijinka. I want a place where I don't have to worry that you could be taken away from me because of who you are." She squeezed her fist, "I can't have you taken from me. I won't let it happen." She looked up at him, "I want to complete the bond with you. So I can find you if anything does happen."Fiyero sighed content and pulled back, resting his head on hers. "That was a bit cheesy, huh." He chuckled. ((Where ever you want it to go. Doesn't matter to me.))"Let's see, how about here? No no no, here." Eric mumbled, placing a golden colored rose on the dress finally settling for it to be sown in the middle of the bust. "Then she said she liked sparkles, so..." He grabbed a spell book and flipped through that pages till he found the right page. "Ah, her we are. Sparkle, shine, twinkle, and glitter, make this dress have people begin to chitter." There was a flash of light and the dress was covered in sparkles. "There, she should like that. Now for some finishing touches..."

Anabelle finally looked at him with annoyance in her teary eyes and her cheeks fully blushing. "You don't understand anything at all. Stupid," she said meekly.dressStephan tilted his head in a confused way. "Bond? How do we do that? You've already bitten me."Lyla giggled. "I like cheesy." She reached up to kiss him again and this time she wrapped her arms around his neck.((I like it. We shall do it a little later. Let them be happy for a day or two.)) Ryu smiled a little longingly at her. "Yes, you're the only one I can relax around." He really couldn't be as expressive as he wanted to and it didn't help that the cameras were everywhere.Luke listened to the girls complain about the different complications. He solved all of them easily enough and made his way to Eric's workshop. He knocked twice before walking in. "Did you miss me?"

"Oh." Miyuki smiled again, "I'm so happy to help, Sir Ryu." That was when the carriage with Blake and Anabelle finally pulled up. "An-chan!" She cheered, rushing over to the carriage and waiting happily for her friend to come out.Blake blinked in confusion. His heart twinged in pain. Why was that? He frowned and wiped her tears away, "Now now, tear don't suit such a beautiful lady." The carriage came to a stop and he could hear little Miyuki calling out for Anabelle. "And you don't want to worry your cat friend, would you?" He patted her head, "Now come on, let's get to our tea party.""Marriage and love." She answered matter-of-factly, "When bitten, the bond starts and is stoppable, but is complete after those two steps." Lucia's face didn't falter in her seriousness. Neither subject made her the nervous little girl she was a moment ago.Fiyero smiled under the kiss and pulled her close. This felt so right. More than it did as a Hunter ever did. Life was always a great adventure and he was always told that love was a greater one. Guess he was finding out now. He turned the kiss more passionate and was willing to take it as far as Lyla wanted to go.The wizard prince turned upon hearing Luke's voice and smiled widely. He ran to the vampire, hugging him tightly. "Yes. I didn't like it. It felt just like you said it would, incomplete." He looked up at him, "Will it always be like this, Luke?"
