When I was your age, Zeltretch dumped me in the middle of nowhere in an different dimension for a month and called it 'training.' Almost died, three times."

"Oh well, I can just make them see money," Hau said, a little bored. "I like using regular money because then I know that it won't disappear. Me and Aunt Dertah have had to move twice because they notice the money disappears over time. It would be easier to make myself disappear, but that takes more magic."

"That would be a crime, miss."
A voice came from a few meters behind the spiky-haired magus. There stood a red-haired man in his full armor, crossing his arms while his eyes observing every living creature in front of him. And as if greeting this man's arrival, the wind suddenly became stronger.
"Even I know creating an illusion like that just because you don't have money is a crime," said the man with a confident tone. "I guess you're a type of magus that use her magic just for herself, right?"

Reed immediately spun around and sent a floating starmine at the new servant. He still had one loaded but didn't have time to charge it. At most, it was a D-ranked spell. Enough to kill an ordinary human but only enough to seriously injure a servant with low magic resistance. Instinct told him that he was in immediate danger and instinct told him to gain his distance so he shouted, "Saber!" and ran a bit in the opposite direction before turning around. Time to begin the first real fight.

The man spread his arms, taking whatever sent by the male magus head on. "What's that? Is that supposed to be an offensive magic? Too bad I didn't feel anything, well, it did tickle me a bit though." To think that he, Akaryu of Caster class, was shot with a low ranked spell made him laughed.
Hearing the name the magus shouted, the red-haired swordsmage turned his head to a servant with a sword. "Saber, eh? I'm just passing through and have no intention to fight at the first place, but I guess this is what to be expected when a player of this war game meets another player. Let our sword decide this then if you want it. Although I don't mind if the Lancer over there wants to help you," he said as he drew his sword. Disguising his class as Saber was one of his favorite thing to do. After all, his appearance fit Saber class more rather than Caster class.

"It's not offensive magic... well, it at least wasn't meant to be used the way I did," Reed motioned for Saber to follow him and then motioned for Lancer to take Hau and swamp the servant from the other side as Reed set up starmine after starmine. It was an alleyway, there were only three directions to exit from and now one of them was blocked. However, Reed wasn't done yet. He needed to cover the top in case the servant attempted to escape that way so he loaded his sphere breakers, a set of A+-ranked spells that Aoko Aozaki often used to level entire cities. He wasn't quite at that level yet but they were still absurdly powerful.

Viladi nodded and went to pick up the girl, when she noticed something off. The girl appeared to weight almost nothing, and weren't here eyes blue before? It didn't take her long to figure out that is was an illusion, and the whole thing dissolved. "Reed, she appears to not be here," Said the servant. She was forced to use vague terms, since she wasn't sure where the girl had gone. But since the first part of the job was over, she jumped up against one of the wall and pushed off of it, arriving on the other side of the servant. But as her master used his spells, she backed up.
Hau hid herself under an invisibility illusion. She didn't like missing battles, and as long as the others didn't know she was still in the area, they wouldn't look for her. The little magus didn't like being dead weight, and she still had the power to help a little. With a little adjustment, she could turn her 'life-breathing' technique into a method for transferring magic. The two things were only a little bit different, just turning off a part of the spell. If he needed more magic, she was be a battery. Wasn't that her role in the war, after all?

still observing every single thing around him, he glanced at the spear-user servant. "Whoa, what's this? To disappear suddenly, it seems that one of your comrades is a coward.. I was wondering why a master would pair up with another master, but I can see where this is going." said the swordsmage confidently, "you two are waiting for a chance when your partner let his or her guard down, then you'll easily defeat one participant in this game. Am I right?"
The red-haired servant chuckled. "You know, I'm used to this kind of thing. Betrayal. At least that is the main reason I'm here, chosen by the great grail." As soon as he finished his words, the wind started to gathered on his sword, as if creating a sheath made of wind. "Now, let the party begin!" he said as he charged suddenly without hesitation toward the magus.

Darsis reluctantly followed Reed, "I sense something is not quite right with that servant..." He couldn't place on what it was, "You're sure my master will be safe with lancer?" He asked softly. He knew about the speed at which the lancer class could retreat, so he was probably asking a meaningless question.
The Saber eyed the new servant, "Our best chance would be for me to assess the servant and you to relay that to lancer." At least that was his opinion. Since Haru had told him to go with Reed, he had little choice but to obey his master's whims.

"No need to relay to me, I am right here," Viladi said from the other side of the servant. "And, Mister Intruder, my master had no need to kill others, he can just take their command seals or ask them to join us. When one doesn't need the grail, one doesn't need to kill." Even as the words came out of her mouth, the lancer hated everyone. It meant that she wasn't going to get her wish, and as a reaction her voice turned cold during the final sentence. Sometimes her master needed to think of her needs.

A pair of eyes watched the small skirmish between the three servants. These eyes belonged to a lone servant of the assassin class. Assassin observed the battle and took in everything he saw, this information would prove vital in later battles. Assassin had no fears in his head of being detected, his Presence Concealment ability made sure of that. Looking upon the battle he noticed the youth with blonde hair, he seemed defenseless, Assassin pondered if he should attack the youth with a kunai, which would be equivalent to a bullet, but there were too many factors to account for. As he continued to ponder on the thought he decided he would follow through with his thought, it would be useful to see if his ability to throw kunai and shurikens would work against Magus and their servants. He hesitated to throw the kunai and decided against it and merely continued to observe.

The red-haired swordsmage suddenly stopped when he heard something funny coming from the female servant. Each of her words made him laugh. "Are you saying that he doesn't want to kill in this war? That's ridiculous!" he said, still couldn't stop his laugh. "Listen. There's no way a naive person like that would win. After all, the prize only will appear in front of the last one standing, in other word, the winner. What do you think will happen if he befriend all 7 masters? A happy ending? All of them will live happily ever after?"
Akaryu took a glace at the magus, "and what about the servants? All of them are here so they can obtain the grail. What will you do if the grail doesn't appear?" After saying that, he turned to the servants, from the Saber an then to the Lancer. "And don't lie to yourselves. I know you have a wish to be granted. Instead of joining a master like yours, why don't you join me to teach naive people like him."

"Tempting offer, but I have an honor complex. So you can take your offer and shove it," Viladi said, pointing her spear at the man. "Besides, can't you tell this war is different? Their are so many masters, and many servants. I don't believe that my master will ally himself with all of them, and also, I'm sure that when he completes his goal, the one he doesn't need the grail for, I'll entrust me top a new master."
