Octavius blinked himself back to the present and watched Darcy's movements as he approached. "Did something happen? You look a bit dazzled." He streached his back and legs, his spine poping loudly and a happy sigh escaping his lips. He looked at the bundles Darcy was carring and smiled, Andreea must have been thoughtful enough to pack them a bit to eat. He would remember to thank her the next time he saw her.

Dacy nods, "Well my mother new that I was going to go off with you...it was rather odd." He flicked his tail and set the bundles down pushing the clearly rabbit one towards Octavius. His ears flicking and his mind slightly hypnotized by the sound of the darker male moving.
He smiles softly and shakes his head, "Shall we eat her or when we land?"

"We can wait until we land, eating before excercise can upset my stomach." He chuckled, hooking the bundles with his clawed hoof. "Is there any certin area you wish to go? Any direction or shall we go where the winds lead us?" The wind blew pleasently threw the clearing, promising warmer weather to come.

Darcy smiles and nods, "That sounds good to me a nice breakfast for two out some where new." he said softly and then his dark cheeks darkened, "How ever like I said before I have not flown before so I might be a bit wobbly but I shall fallow you where you lead and the wind takes you." he said with a kind smile and lowered his head to pick up the bundle planing it into a jacket poket before he spread his wings and re-stretched them.
"I am willing to go where ever it is you take us...this could be fun...as long as I do not have to see my sister." he said softly and gives a soft nod.

He nusled Darcy's neck affecionetly "It shall be mostly glyding, so not too much work. The hardest parts are the take off and landings but I think you will do well, just remember to keep your wings straight out once you are airborn and all you need to do is make minor adjustments with your wings inorder to rise, fall, and turn."
"You will not have to see your sister if you do not wish, I have not even talked to her really, just seen her with the family." He shruged and licked his cheek. "Well, shall we get this show on the road?" His wings streched out, getting a feel for how the wind was.

Darcy had to fight the urge to nuzzles back against the hooded stallion as Octavius nuzzled his neck. What was it about the son of death that was tempting Darcy from all he knew and trusted. He let out a sigh feeling the heat of the other's body so close, "I will try to keep that in mind...and I will just follow you." he said softly.
A shocked look passed over his noble features as he felt the gentle lick to his cheek. He watched the other turn and feel for the wind. He lowered his head growling silently at the fact that at this rate he was bond to wish to join the family of his sister and that thought disgusted him. But he knew he could not ask for Octavius to give up his family just to stay with him. "I see..." he responded to the comments about his sister and stretched his wings out in the same manner that Octavius did.
It was still too soon to be thinking about mating...he should just enjoy the time he was getting to spend with this amazing male and worry about romance if it happened.

Octavius looked over to make sure Darcy was ready, then he began to run feeling the air stir under his wings as he reached the top of a hill and as he reached the crest of the hill a gust of wind lifted his body into the air, his wings hardly having to labor to get him airborne. He reached a decent level then circled overhead waiting to see how Darcy would do on his first attempt to get into the air.
He let his mind wander a bit as he waited. He thought about the herd he called his own, the mares that tried to seduce him and the stallions he had tried to seduce... He blinked suddenly at that thought, could he be gay? He hadn't realized this til now but he had rarely, if ever, found a mare attractive in the making babies kind of way. Wow what a time to come to such a conclusion he thought to himself.

Dracy watched with a slightly surprised look. The son of death made it look so easy. It made the large male blush a bit at the simple fact that he could not do it so easily. But he gave a quick shake, his mane flashing a sparkling blue in the sun before he started his run. He tried to mimic the way Octavius had held his wings and body. The wind rushing around his wings was a very strange feeling almost more so than the strange emotions that the son of death made him feel.
Soon it was enough. He was at the top of the hill his strong frame thanks to his mother had not even started to exert itself and he found himself air born. He blushed a bit and his balance seemed to wobble as he tried to get use to the feeling. He looked up at Octavius and smiled lightly. It seemed that the hooded one was thinking of something that seemed rather important. He shook his head and tried to move the way he could see the other moving under the hood. The almost weightless feeling yet the weight of his body on his wings and shoulder muscles was interesting because he was working muscles that had never been used before. He could see his little 'room' and his mother. He turned his head around to see the sights around.

He chuckled and waited for Darcy to get used to the feeling of flight and smiled as he watched the other look down on the world as he had never seen it before. It was quite the sight, he remembered his first flight vaguely, the adrenalin pumping through his body and the feeling of hanging high over the word. "You ready to try doing some moves?" He grinned, he wouldn't have Darcy try anything too dangerous but it would be fun to scare him just a tiny bit...
He rose higher to find a wind blowing in the general direction he wished to go and always keeping an eye on Darcy in case he should run into trouble. When he found a good wind he coasted along it waiting for Darcy to get up into the breeze so that they could continue their trip.

The larger male was not going to say no, at this time he was a bit too worried to say anything. He just followed the hooded male. His face set and his wings working more then they really needed to. He sighed and followed. He would let the confident male do all the moves. Darcy much rather be on the ground walking calmly and safely. Though as long as Octavius did not plan on taking him to the herd of death then he would follow without question for now.

Gliding smoothly on the air current he scanned the land below watching the hills and valleys start to flatten out into a large plane. Dust rose in miniature clouds where larger herds traveled. It would take a week or more to cross it on hoof but in the air the distance could be traversed in a day or two. He angled slightly to the right until he was following the edge of the hills and mountains. He turned his head to watch how Darcy took the change in direction.

Darcy was starting to look just a bit tired because he could not trust his wings to gliding on the air currents. So he was pumping his wings harder than they should and the muscles having never been worked before were starting to hurt. He sighed and looked around at the view below. He was not too fond of what lay outside his slightly forested home. Why was he leaving again? He looked up and saw the hooded head looking back at him. His ear flicked back and he could not tell what the other was thinking if there were even thoughts under the grey hood.

"We are getting close now, just a few more minutes." they were actually close enough to see their destination but it was hard to see from where they were at the moment. Soon the a faint thundering could be heard and a mist could be seen next to a large mountain with what looked to be a hole in the side that was gushing water into a valley that was completely surrounded by impassible cliffs and mountains. The torrent of water poured into a deep lake that never seemed to fill no matter how much water poured into it.
"Welcome to the hidden valley." He began to descend into it, the floor of the valley was much larger than it appeared, at least a mile in each direction with the lake being just as large. There was no other yuma nor any large predator species that called this area home so there were many small herbivores that had no fear of others.

Dracy felt his heart leap as he looked over the sense before him. He did not think he had ever seen anything so beautiful. Though seeing how small the space was and the sheer cliffs bought a bit of fear to him. "How am I to land in this beautiful place?" He asked softly.
Being unaware at what lived there Darcy figured that many of Octavius' family must come here. Maybe it was like their family's make out point. He smirked softly trying to keep his mind from his burning wings nor how he was to land. But if it was not soon he might drop. "It really is beautiful and thank you very much for bringing me here....just incase I can not land or it goes bad I just thought I would thank you now."

Octavius smiled calmly at Darcy "Just angle yourself at the ground to where your legs can slowly take your weight as you land, and don't try and stop immediately, slow down to where you can fold your wings in and stop without hurting yourself." He looked at the water with a smirk "Or you can do this!" With a whoosh he quickly brought his wings in and dropped twords the water, laughing as he got closer to the water until he landed with a huge splash.
A minute later he surfaced and, treading water, looked to the sky to see what method Darcy would choose. "On second thought" he called out "I think using the fields to land might be a bit safer." He started on his way to the shore, keeping an eye on Darcy.
