"if another beast master was born if would be through me. only my family has the ability now... the other families were wiped out long ago. and the only way you would get hurt is if jean-claude didnt want to make the trade." he looked at her then and sniffed the air. "you're afraid, why? what do you know?"

After finally being fed, Ahneeda got the hints form Cassie. "She's human, shes just scared about 2 vampires and a beast master who can easily kill her. Hell i was willing to feed off her, but you were in my way."
Ahneeda also added, "Cassie and I dont know any beast master, and I work for Jean Claude so I know he dont know any either."

why would i feel the same... i am ariel's slave... i would welcome a captor." ranulf exclaimed. as he did the gold chain around his neck began to glow and burn his flesh. "gahh... im sorry mistress, you know i didnt mean it." his back bowed and he clawed at the seats because of the pain. "please mistress..."

Cassie stared at him horrified at what he had and terrified of what was happening. "Ahneeda, what the hell is happening to him?"

ranulf collapsed on the seat gasping for breath. "no ... you cant help... its meethrill... its the only thing that can harm a beast master. whoever holds the key to the bonds controls everything i do and how much pain i endure." ranulf explained as he regained his composure. suddenly he became very still...."we're here. dont worry, your plight is almost over. soon you will be rejoined with your friends."

"no... not by us at least.. i meant we are at your circus." ranulf explained thinking that this girl is a total airhead to himself. just then the car door opened and ariel reappeared.
"come my pet, and bring our 'friends'." she said emphasizing (sp?) the friends.
"yes mistress.... do you guys wanna walk or do i have to carry you again?" he asked sarcastically.

"Calm down, just because we aren't all as amazing as you," Cassie said back, equally sarastically. Her relief at the fact that it so far seemed that no-one else had been hurt showed. With no-one else to be used as leverage she felt more confident again and walked straight past him.

ranulf growled but followed, but then ariel held him back. "you will be bihind me my pet." she ordered.
"yes mistress." ranulf replied.
as they walked up to the back entrance jason spotted them and his eyes went slightly wide. "hey ahneeda, cassie... um.. whats up?"

"I had a little mishaps with my head hitting the steering wheel, but after feeding off ranulf, im feeling much better. Did you miss me Jason?" flirted Ahneeda.

"ranulf? who the ******** is that... " jason began and then he saw the towering figure over the female vampire. "oh you must be him."
ranulf nodded in his direction and ariel snapped her fingers in front of jason. "take us to jean-claude or they die here and now."
"ok ok.. sheesh." jason stated as he opened the door and lead the way down. as they reached the bottom the air stirred with the power of the master of the city... they were ready for them. jason opened the door and they walked in. jason moved over to the side and announced their guests. jean-claude and anita stepped forward. kat stayed hidden behind the pard.
"to what do i owe this honor ariel?" jean-claude began.
smugly ariel stepped forward and yanked ranulf's chain causing him to fall to the floor on all fours. "i am here to collect the other part of my collection.
a slight gasp escaped kat and she slowly moved forward dispite the protests of the pard. "ranulf..." she asked in a squeaky voice.
ranulf looked up and his eyes widened. "it cant be.." he whispered. "kat?"
"stay back kat... we dont want you getting too close." anita stated already pointing her gun at ariel.
"carefull ma petite, she is not offering violence yet." jean-claude warned.
" you dont understand...." kat began..."he's.. he's my brother.." tears were streaming down both their faces as she fell to her knees and reached for him. just before they could hug ariel jerked his chain back and he fell back against her legs.
"do not touch my pet!" she hissed
"kat.. i thought... they told me you were dead." ranulf exclaimed after catching his breath.
"i thought you were dead.... if i had known you were alive i wouldnt have left you.." she was crying hard now. "im so sorry."
"no.. its ok... if you hadnt left after the attack you'd be right beside me now." ranulf said defeatedly(sp?)
