Most of your reasons make sense, except for the drifting bit. All of the drifting in that movie was real. Rhys Millen did most of it. Although Keiichi Tsuchiya actually had a very slight role. That s**t with the car going up the parking garage and the like? Yeah. They really did that. It's the main reason I like the movie.

I though the movie wasen't that bad, the car action in it was top notch, so makes me happy BTW, they're making a 4th one.

I thought tokyo drift was the better of the three.
The drifting was real, but due to the camera angles, it made it look fake. At least this one had some sort of plot, unlike the other ones where they are just running from the cops. lol

Tungstang Yeah it was a hideous green hulk one oO It looked so retarded rofl Wasn't that a VW Golf? Anywho; Update. I was at my hometown near the mall last night, and I happened to be behind a couple of people waiting for the light to turn green in the straight lanes. One was a newer-looking Camaro Z28, I think. The other, a brand new-looking Ferrari F430, black. They, of course, were revving loud enough to the point where I couldn't hear my radio at all (the louder being the Camaro, of course, with its muscular loud pipes that you see on most of them). When the light turned green, the Ferrari ate it for lunch. I followed them (I was able to keep up with the Camaro, at least, even though he saw me and probably thought I was trying to smoke him to) to get a better view, but they both seemed to be heading in opposite directions after that, so all I did was slow down, sit there, and laugh.

I thought it was a Polo but whatever.
They're making a 4th one? What's this one going to be about? They've covered illegal drag racing, highway racing, and drifting. What's left?
I theorized once that the next one will be about offroad racing, like in the dirt and gravel, and spawn a new generation of idiot kids who think it's cool to jack up your ride height and have oversized mudflaps.
