Loralei sighed, and said, "Just... just put them on the counter." She waved in the general direction, grabbing a small rag and wiping up the blood from the floor. "I would advise you to eat them now because the cake is almost finished..."

He glanced in the direction Loralei waved to and walked over there, letting the little animal carcasses roll off the shirt and onto the counter, "Um...wouldn't it be better to eat the cake first?"
Alucard gave the infamous puppy dog eyes, "Pleeeaaaaseeee?"

Loralei looked down at Alucard, her eyebrow raised. She took a deep breath in, sighing. Dammit, I've never been able to resist puppy dog eyes...
"Fine..." Loralei sighed, getting out a knife to cut the cake. "Just a small piece before you eat dinner. Then you can have a bigger one."

"Eeeps!" Alucard jumped from seeing the knife and ducked behind the counter. Everyone with a knife that he's ever met always tried to use the thing to attack him, and he thought that Loralei was going to do the same, "You..you tricked me! You're worse than the others!"
He growled as he pushed himself against the counter's side. His left set of fingers appeared to be unraveling themselves into many black vine-like appendages and it continued up his arm.

Loralei jumped upon seeing the tendrils crawling up Alucard's arm. Thankfully, she realized why he was upset, and tried to calm him. "Alucard, wait! The knife is not to hurt you! It's to give you cake!"
"Really, Alucard, do you think I would hurt you after helping you out the way I did? Well, maybe you would, but I wouldn't. I swear it." Loralei placed the knife on the counter. "I won't hurt you. I promise."

Alucard watched her with cold amber eyes. The changes reached up to the left side of his neck before stopping, "You..you really promise?"
His voice had fluctuated from adult's and then back down to his normal voice. The tendrils retreated slowly, returning Alucard's upper arm back to normal.

Loralei nodded, the truth showing in her blue-gray eyes. "I won't hurt you. I promise." She sighed. "I guess you just want to shove the cake in your mouth, then." Loralei smiled, trying to lighten the tension.

Loralei smiled. "WAIT! If you're going to eat the cake without cutting a small piece, you're eating the rabbits first. No buts, no puppy dog eyes, no exceptions." ((Man, she sounds like his mother...))
Loralei smirked. If I'm not allowed to cut the cake, then he can't eat the cake until he eats the rabbits. That's the deal.

Because I definitely don't... that was one of the scariest moments of my whole seventeen years...

Loralei raised an eyebrow, waiting for Alucard to say he was lost. Oh, boy.... guess I'd better go find him... Loralei sighed.
