craftymama Driving, like anything, takes practice and someone as wonderfully talented and smart like you Exxos should have no trouble with a bit of practice. I have faith you'll be able to learn easily some day. I've been trying for 14 years now to no avail. Ro-kun says it is who is trying to teach me. He might be right, but my money is on that I am just wholly incapable of driving anything with an engine. Tha Chica Lana I wish..my grandmother was a senator and as such she thought she was pretty hot stuff (she was biggrin ) so she built her house on the highest hill she could find..thats where we live now so walking is definitely not an option in this heat. You need a bike and one of those hill climbing things for bikers that they have in San Francisco. Or a vespa. Lana + Vespa = Island Girl of Sexayness +3. I think that gives you a modifier to your charisma rolls too. 3nodding

Vespas are love. If they could handle these mountainous dirt roads, I'd have a Vespa for when I'm driving sans child.

I want a silver vespa with purple, ground-effects neon. And then I will wear a scarf with a rod in it so it sticks straight back - as if I was going really fast, and hunker down on the vespa like I am speeding - even though I would be going 12mph.

If and when they pave I'll consider trading my car in for one. Pink with yellow and white hippie-esque stickers! Barbie, anyone? lol

A vespa would be heart but Missouri is all hills. Not nessisarily severe ones like in L. A. but constantly rolling and just slanted enough to be a major pain in the a** when it snows, lol.
Well, I am finally getting sleepy, naturally, the moment I start making some serious progess on my story. Oh well, I can work on it later. For now I'm going to make my husband some lunch for work tomorrow and then go to bed. *hugs everyone* thanks for keeping me company everyone. Sweet dreams to you once you go to sleep.

Of course there is also this. What I affectionately call... THE BATTLE-VESPA! Used by the Indonesian military to bash bozos.

The Empty Chair Eulogy for a Gamer There is an empty chair, at the table this day. A hallowed place where, a friend once played. The roll of his dice, my ears long to hear. Or perhaps it would suffice, if he should suddenly appear. With character sheet in hand, and a bag of Cheeze-doodles to share. All his friends would stand, as he sat in the empty chair. I hear his voice a-callin’, and it ties my heart in a knot. For he cries, “Though a comrade has fallen, You must play for those who cannot.” We conquered worlds on the run, he and I in the name of fun. And as others may come and go, I make both both friend and foe. But what I long for most, is our past now long a ghost.

That's a great poem Exxos. Very suitable for the situation.
I think I'll go to do some home chores now and then bake those chocolate cookies I've been planning on doing today. I'll see you guys around later. Bye!
