I know the feeling, people are freaking out for no apparent reason. I mean.... Guinea Pigs? Are you kidding me? I'm just waiting for zombies. Flu, no problem, zombies? That's when I'll start going underground and preparing.
My boss actually reckoned she should start disinfecting customers hands. Actually going up to them, taking their hands, and spraying them with alcohol gel. Nutter, eh?

Swine flu. Christ. People really have to stop having sex with animals and eating their s**t. God damn Mexicans.
On another note, I managed to bang out a short WoT in the Twilight between the madness of classes if anyone is interested in reading, and I left it open ended in case anyone wants to pop in. Like say, Azrael looking to assert himself. xP
Took my first of five classes last night, and it was pretty plain and simple. Until my worst fears came to fruition. I have to set out a full lesson plan aimed at primary school kids along with two others, and deliver the enTIRE class in another language. NO english AT all, including written. Thankfully there was an option for German. (Did German in school).
Roan? I have to do YOUR job, but deliver the entire class in GERMAN. And for some reason my two partners want to do something retarded like 'Birthdays' as the theme, rather than something simple like the numbers 1-5.
Thankfully however, I R GOODEST TEACHER! And have already banged out a full lesson plan for birthdays including backups incase its not long enough for the set time frame, along with two other plans. One for Clothes items and colours. Working on another for numbers. I R GOODEST EVAR!

Corbn? Primary school children, even year 1's, can get WELL beyond number five....
If you would like, I'll look over your lesson plan and give you some pointers if it will help, or I'll keep my nose out if you prefer xd
Swine flu related, its worth being minorly concerned because we ARE going ot have a flu epidemic of SOME form in the next couple of decades. We're WELL overdue for one and the fact avian flu has mutated ALREADY IS worrying, but its HARDLY worth panicing. If you catch it and go to ahospital immediately, you'll get better. You cannot contract it from pork - PEOPLE are what are passing it around. Yes, untreated it is fatal, but we have drugs for people who bother going to hospital. 80% of the population is WAY more than would ACTUALLY need drugs if a true pandemic DID break out. We're prepared. Its JUST the flu. Be sensible, no problem. Now if only EVERYONE knew all that...

Minorly concrened, yes. I.e a little worried about the fact they threatened to close mexico city down, or that there are 8 more cases in the UK.
But worrying that your going to get it from your guinea pig? Harrumph.
They aren't helping it any by blasting it all over the news every 5 minutes. I swear, news updates on my phone: ALL about swine flu. ...and football. It would be less worrying if they didn't blast us with SWINE FLU. SWINE FLU. SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE FLU and OmGz Ur GoiN 2 Diez! all the time, and actually educated people on what to do (just incase).
If the worst comes to the worse, I'll wear a surgical mask to work. Until then, I'm just going about muh business in the kick a**, ice cream scooping, coffee sniffing way I usually do.

Ironic thing is, I hadn't heard about this s**t until you lot started talking about it.
Thats right, folks, I don't watch the news. I'd like to think I'm a little bit smarter for it, in this day and age.

I don't watch the news either Iden, but kids at school are freaking the hell out because there have been six cases in this general area and ZOMG ONE WUZ FATAL! Nevermind that it was an infant with parents whose child-rearing skills are rather lacking in certain areas. Like...Nutrition. Regular check ups. Medicine for babies with respiratory problems. You know, petty stuff.

I only have it on as background noise when I'm cooking breakfast, but I figured I'd check up on weather and s**t (being in a theme park n all that.... it helps.) whilst on my lunch and LO AND BEHOLD: We're Gunna Die!
Idk. I'm more concerned about my BFH tomorrow, than Swine Flu.

So Mum just told me that the internet is being shut off tomorrow because we're moving. Great. Because that means she thinks we can move in a week or two. Bull. Anyway, I guess it doesn't much matter RP-wise because Dae is still kind of stuck and Roan is busy with Iden. So yeah.
...Oh...Roan, if you have any freaky metaphysical oddities/emergencies or whatever, call my cell. 301-448-8871 Though thankfully, that whole business seems settled. xd

It's okay, mate. Least I'm not the one with a penchant for fake boobs and a mildly irradiated c**t.
I gotta know. Does your d**k glow in the dark now?

No, but it burns whenever somebody mentions me while I'm not there.
A useful super power.
Though I'd prefer to be able to wring a towel completely dry over that.
