((well of course i am. im totally god hehehe. actually if he really wanted to know, he could google my full name and find that the most celebrity ive ever been was from being in battlebots and doing a national memory competition))
Terryn nodded. "Well...most of them. There was that old lecher in the last one we stayed at. He kept buying me drinks even though I never drank any of them."

OOC: I'm not entirely sure if anything relevant comes up when you Google my full name. It's not on the first page, for sure.
"He was probably too drunk to notice," answered Marcus, waving it away. He grinned. "Why is it that lechers have such a particular attraction to you? Should I pay any attention to that?"

"Well, you can answer that question." Terryn grinned at him. "You are a lecher, and you are attracted to me."

OOC: Eh. Not common, really. But it's a word, so. Yeah.
Marcus laughed. "Well, yes, I know that much. Not that I have any idea why."

((*sigh* gotta run already))
"Hmmmm..." Terryn absentmindedly twirled her hair around her finger, not in a flirty way, but in a more pensive manner. "It must be my dazzling, exotic beauty."

OOC: Nyeh.
Marcus rolled his eyes. "Oh, no. It must have been your shockingly modest and demure demeanor." He began to smile, but it faded. He could see the shape of a gruesome shell of an an enormous estate, about a mile or two away. "Oh..."

"Yes, and I-" Terryn followed his gaze up to the ruins of what must at one time have been a very regal looking manor. She took his hand in an attempt to comfort him, but she doubted her freezing hands did much to help the situation.

Marcus scarcely noticed Terryn's efforts. His mouth was slightly open, and his eyebrows furrowed as he spotted the raw framework showing at the top of a tower and showing on the west side--the side that had once been home to vines and vines. "It's--it's gone completely," he stammered, blinking in hopes that the manor would restore itself.

Terryn, having never been in such a situation before, was somewhat unsure as to how she should approach it. She opted or staying silent and wrapping her arms around his neck to be close to him and hopefully give him some secrity.

Marcus said no more for the next half hour or so, after which they had arrived. He sat there, and stared out of the window, taking in all the damage that had been done. It really was completely gone. Only the slightest hint of its original structure remained. It was six months of heavy labor, at the least.

Terryn sighed, not really expecting Marcus to feel so depressed over a simple manor. She leaned against him, glancing up at him every now and then to make sure he was alright.

Marcus had basically regained his composure by the time they reached the manor. It was a little garish, rather small, and unpleasantly Gothic. But it would have to do. He took their bags over his shoulder and opened the coach door, giving Terryn a small half-smile. "To our new home."

Terryn gave him a smile, glad that he was at least able to keep his hopes up somewhat. She took his hand and exited the coach, looking up at the manor. A grin crept onto her face as she looked up at it. "Dark...I like it."

Marcus raised his eyebrows. "I'm glad." A very pompus young Lord, whose name escaped Marcus, shook his hand vigorously, striding into the house muttering useless things like, "So very glad to have you here, sir. Such a terrible misfortune. The horror, sir, the horror."

Terryn arched an eyebrow at this man, who she immediately took a dislike to. Had she been armed, his forehead would have been marked for an arrow.
