When Kai pulled away from the kiss, the young prince erupted in a bright blush as she and Damian talked. Officially cool? Right... He only had a few seconds to get rid of the blush before Kai kissed him again. Which he submitted to once more.
And that's where Luke came in. "And what do you think you guys are doing?"

Kai pulled back again as Luke came in, and shrugged. "Probably what it looks like. But there is the slim possibility we're playing an elaborate prank on you for the fun of it," she responded without skipping a beat. Damian burst out laughing. "Poker," he managed to say, though he really meant to explain their bets on dares and such.

Hakaru blushed when his uncle spoke, turning very red.
Yet Luke just walked over to Damian, grabbing his little fox ear. "What have I told you about pulling this stuff on your brother. Come on. Your parents would love to hear about this." he said, dragging Damian out by his ear.

Kai raised an eyebrow as Damian was dragged out, but just shrugged. When she looked back to Hakaru, he was blushing intensely, and she couldn't help but laugh a little. "You're very quick to blush, aren't you?" She pushed a bit of Hakaru's black hair behind his ear with a smile and looked back to the forgotten deck of cards.
Damian winced and struggled against Luke as they kept going. "Oh, don't tell me you wouldn't try to set him up eventually! C'mon, how am I the one in trouble for this? I just dared him, I didn't make them kiss!"

Hakaru blushed more as Kai laughed some and spoke, moving some of his hair. But when she looked to the cards, he did as well, then back to her. "So... What now?" he asked quietly.
Luke sighed annoyedly and bopped his nephew on the head. "No I wouldn't. And you know how gullible he is. He probably doesn't realize the difference. So leave your brother alone on such things. Or I'll freeze something important. Got it?"

Kai glanced up at Hakaru's voice and shrugged. "Well, we have infinite options. There's playing pranks on various other people that are here, though that involves the effort. There's spying on your brother as he gets punished, again, effort. Or we could hang out here. Not to mention, that's three of the options, and there are plenty more." She shrugged again and tilted her head at Hakaru.
Damian frowned at Luke, rubbing his head. "Shouldn't you be celebrating? Your younger nephew just had his first kiss with a girl who clearly is a good person, since she saved his life earlier. Fish tail nonwithstanding."

Hakaru thought some, glancing at his shoes some. He then glanced at Kai a little before returning his gaze to his shoes. What he really wanted to do was make out with her again. That would have been the one thing he wanted to do at the moment, if Kai agreed.
Luke shrugged. "I'll celebrate later. But he should have figured it out on his own. You shouldn't push such things onto him so suddenly."

Kai raised her eyebrow at Hakaru's silent behavior. "And I thought we were past all the shyness," she said with a false dramatic sigh. "Guess we'll have to fix that, again." Truth be told, with Damian gone and the other person in the cabin asleep, Kai just wanted to kiss Hakaru again. So, with a smirk, she took his chin again and leaned in to kiss him.
Damian stared at Luke. "He would most certainly not have kissed her if left to himself. He would've beat around the bush, she would've gotten bored, and someone else would get to her."

Hakaru blushed more when Kai once again took him by the chin. He knew what came next so he was quick to jump on it and complete the kiss.
Luke groaned some. "Like I said, he would have figured it out on his own. But I'm not going to argue this anymore. I can still see you have a problem with gambling. Thought your father covered this with you."

Damian's jaw dropped. "I only bet dares so I could make them kiss! That was the whole point, or I wouldn't have played! This isn't about gambling!"
Kai was a little surprised at Hakaru's willingness, but it was a pleasant surprise. She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaving the kiss for him to pick up.

Luke just rubbed his temples, wondering where this boy's parents were...
Hakaru blushed a little, feeling her wrap her arm's around his neck and leave it all to him. He picked up the kiss without missing a beat as he wrapped his arms slowly around her waist, one hand gently on her upper back to support her and hold her a bit close to him.

Demetri frowned a little and tightened his grip on Lunora. "Do you get the feeling someone's looking for us?" he asked.
Kai smiled into the kiss and pressed her lips harder against Hakaru's. It was almost comical how not shy he was being, though she could feel a little heat off his cheeks, meaning he was blushing. Having been at Mesilici for a while, she'd known who Hakaru and Damian were since her first week. They were pretty famous, or in Damian's case infamous, but she was surprised by how, well, normal they were.
Damian crossed his arms as he continued to follow Luke. We just better not find them doing something gros...

Lunora shrugged. "Probably your elder son did something." she said, adjusting the blanket some and staying close to Demetri. "But we're a bit clothing impaired at the moment so I don't think we'll be seeing anyone." she said slyly, winking at him.
Hakaru continued the kiss, wrapping his arms around her more, pulling her closer to him. He kept the kiss up for a few more minutes before having to stop for air.

Demetri smirked at Lunora, pulling her against his chest and kissing down her neck. "You're right; we're a little bit busy."
Kai brushed some hair behind her ear after Hakaru pulled back, her breathing hard though not too hard. She'd had to train her breathing as a mermaid, after all. She smiled at him and tilted her head a bit, watching his expression.

"Bec careful, love. You might give us a new newborn to take care of." she said, kissing his temple as he kissed along her neck.
Hakaru panted some, yet his expression was relaxed and a bit happy. One he had found a girl who felt the same things for him as he felt for her, two he was proud that he had done that all by himself, and three... He was mentally thanking Damian for being a manipulative big brother.
