So in other words it's some sort of ki or reiki type thing.
Because in either case, if your skin was really so hard that no blade could pierce your skin, you wouldn't be able to move. Even the toughest of skin from constant training would only get as tough as leather.
If it's supposed to be like how golems have stone skin, it's still a power because being alive is pretty much a golem's special ability. The fact that they're able to live and move while being made of stone or other materials is magic in and of itself.
Even Superman does it via superpowers, because of a strong aura of solar energy emitting from his dense cellular structure. Which would probably work the same way as ki or reiki.
So, ki or reiki would be the only power that can explain such strong skin without exactly being a "power", since essentially all humans breathe and have souls.

Tenkai Matsumoto So in other words it's --- No. See you're trying to apply science and logic to Reiko. I purposely made him in a way that nothing about him makes any goddamned sense. It is.. that Reiko is strong. Period. It isn't supposed to be like anything, it's not a reference to anything. No he does not emit any aura or.. whatever nonsense. If you told Reiko what you thought he'd say.. "no, you're wrong.. here's why" and flex his bicep. And that's why you'd be wrong.

When is "necessary?" you will probably ask. Necessary is whenever I don't want/can't use Crawley. Even in his initial conception Reiko didn't make sense. I wrote a whole back story and everything and had everyone in here laughing their asses off. I even explained "Pupu power" and "Pupu heaven" which is why Silver references it so much and has knowledge of it. Because I actually sat down and gave thought to the nonsense... it was actually more of a reference for me because before.. it was all over the place. After, it was still all over the place but at least I could see where it was. Vahn will tell you... and Jello will definitely tell you. I don't deal in "making sense" when it comes to roleplaying. The only time I try to make sense is when I'm forced to in order to participate in rp-stuff they do that I wanna do (HoH).

You're trying to put your own logic into someone else's work and that's annoying.
If Crawley says Reiko has no powers, he has no powers. This is Gaia, where your character can be made of super muskles without much more explaination than "it's natural, he was born that way."

@Dee: I'm sorry if it annoys you, but I'm not trying to force my logic into anything. If I try to understand it with my own logic, that's just what I do. Everyone does that in some way or another.
Only thing I'm doing wrong here is, as Crawley says, trying to make sense out of Reiko, who's not supposed to make sense.
I should have said it more like "so it's like this" rather than "it IS like this", simply because I'm describing how I understand it rather than trying to say what it's supposed to be.
Though I will have to disagree. If you have super anything, be it natural or acquired, it's still kindof a power. To say Reiko has no powers when he's supposedly unable to be held by the natural world is...well...I just don't see how that makes sense. ._.
Maybe it's just the word "power". But then that's just getting caught up in semantics.
