Vice walked in, not even bothering to look around. He had a scythe in his hand that he held lazily and a book in the other. Despite how young he looked, if a person looked into his eyes they would be able to see someone who was very old... he was so very tired right now. Going to the bar he leaned the scythe against a chair, sat down and burried himself into the book.

He slowly made his way into the bar from the floor upstairs. He sighed, another day....another day....

Vice looked at the man for a moment, then turned back to his book. "Hello there, care for a drink?" He asked as he held his hand out a bit. A moment later there were two glasses and a nice line of different alcohols right ontop of the counter; no searching neccessary.

He looked over to the man and pushed up his shades a bit. He slightly shook his head* No thank you, I don't drink anymore save on special occasions

"Pity, you looked as if you had something you wished to... Never mind." He laughed slightly, but did not turn away from his book. "Whats on your mind?" As he spoke all but one of the bottles disappeared. It was a simple Vodka, but Vice's personaly favorite.

Only one thing... *He rolled his neck as he walked over to the fire place and threw on several more logs to bolster the slowly dying fire* I've lost the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and I've been searching and searching to get it back but I haven't a clue of where to look...and thinks are starting to seem almost hopeless....

"See, you just need to keep your hope. If you lose your hope, you lose your chances of ever finding her." He opened up the bottle and took a swig before looking at the man. He smiled just a bit before turning back to his book. "Who took her?"

If I knew that I'd have my wife back by now! *He took the poker and repositioned a few of the logs for better air flow* I don't know if anyone actually did take her....she just kind of....vanished....and I can't find neither hide or hair of her.

The man did not respond for some time, but when he did it was almost in a un-interested sort of voice. "And who is to say that she looks like she did when she... vanished? Is it not possible that someone could have changed her?" He turned a page of his book, took another swig of his drink, and began to read again.

That's it too. I don't know what happened. If she'd been changed into something different I don't know and I haven't gotten anything to work off of! I know something's happened to her and it's enough to prevent her from coming back here, at least in a recognizable form. *He put the poker back and cracked his knuckles, the fire light reflected in his shades* I will find her though....I'm not going to through my lot in with destiny and let whatever happen.

Vice took a large gulp from the bottle, then set it down and stood up. He picked up the scythe and began to walk to the door, then paused. "The darkness tells a person many things, for those who are willing to listen. And it knows much... especially when something happens in the darkest of places. My advice to you?" He shook his head a bit and went to the door. "Look for a rat." And with that he walked out, leaving the bottle behind.

He didn't say anything and watched the man leave. Sitting in his chair infront of the fire he began to mull the man's words over....Look for a rat...

DaxMaurier Dax turned his head and let the gaze of his purple eys shift over to Fox. Around He let out a small laugh and shook his head abit But really, I had some matters to attend to in my lands he gave a slightly eveil grin as he spoke that time. The matters that he had to adress in his home lands, where bloody to say the least. And what of you my boy? How have you been since we last seen eachother? Stayin in trouble? dax offered a small chuckle and winked at Fox as he spoke. "no more then normal, so yea." He said with a smile and a giggle, this is somethign that Dax could pull out of him. The gentleness of a childed. " Umm what of me now a days, other then the over whelming training that I do and well the presser from my mother and Thatcher I would have to same same old stuff different day Sir. " He said as he rocked back and forth from heal to toe with his hands clamped together behind his back tail swaying back and forth once he was done talking .

Vice walked in one again, his book still in his hand. When he had come in earlier he had only started the book, but now it seemed to be well over halfway done. Going to a tale, he sat in a chair and got himself comfortable as he read. The book was either terribly interesting or Vice was trying not to deal with something... but it really didn't matter which one it was.

A serpentine woman slithered in through the bar door. She was laying close to the ground so no one could see her upon entering unless they looked towards the floor. Her yellow eyes scanned the room, looking about. Syan found her way to a support beam and wrapped around it. She started to slither up the beam and into the high rafter where she could be hidden and scan the area. She was searching for a man that Ask had described to her. She wrapped her long tail around the rafter and layed her upper body on it as if she was laying down, her arms were crossed underneath her head.
