"Father does have his own methods for food and what not." A look around, trying to feel out bonds and what not. If her ears could swivel like a cat, they probably would be. But a look back and forth for a moment before via combined knowledge with Serino, they picked a direction to follow in. Led pretty far out too, into a more wooded area as well. Trees, of course they would be around trees. Fianna was that kind of elf. Thus her gaze had turned upward. "You know...I never figure out how she gets him into trees...he's less than graceful in them. Probably why I fall out of trees so much maybe..." Serino was busy keeping his own eyes around trees, looking for horses.

Arthur had his suspicions that the wave of sand, mud and stone would collapse inward and came at him, and indeed he was right. Quickly he cut the fireball that was sent back at him in two as he needed to focus on what move he had to do next. Since the mud was not a rolling hill anymore all he had to do was get enough height clearance so he can get in close enough to attack the half-elf. With a small grin Arthur charged the blade of his katana with fire and forced it down infront of him like he was going to stab someone, the fire that was released from his blade shot straight into the ground and the force made Arthur push off into the air.
While air borne the young elf had a bit of time to plot his next move. I am quickly running out of energy, I need to knock her out and fast... using the speed of the take off he gotten from his flame sword Arthur made his body do a somersault with his blade facing outwards from his chest. The result was a vertical slash of fire as he descended to the ground. When he got close enough he moved his katana so it was pointed away from his body and landed on his feet. Quickly he got up and turned around with his sword raised to attack. "I guess I got in close enough." he muttered and charged the half-elf.

Trees. figures.
"These trees however are not for lounging in too much. they aren't exactly the most sturdy things most the time. not really good tree growing conditions. But I bet a little sex or affection gets him up there no problem."
A chuckle, and a look up to the treeline and around.
The woman nodded, shifting her body in a more provacative manner, hey sex appeal was a weapon, after all.
"Yes, you did."
And her staff pointed out and lightning sparked out around in a verifiable storm of electricity.
"But your technique is flawwed. you use too much power, too quickly. I know that you possess no other power than fire, and now that I know this, I can counter, or entrap you by knowing what you can, and cannot, do. though your blade skills might not be as well known to me."

As Arthur rushed the woman he noticed how she shifted her body to attack. Arthur lowered his eye a little into a glare and a blush covered his face but he remained focused. Sex appeal is of course a weapon and he knew he could not stare at anything or it meant his defeat. His eyebrow shot up when a storm of electricity came out of her staff, luckily the fire on his blade would mostly block the charge he will receive. "I know it is, magic is secondary I don't use it often, you have forced me to use what magic I have miss but don't worry we'll see who gets who really." And with that he shouted as he slashed his katana downward to send a stream of vertical fire as he jumped forward, his blade coming up in a horizontal slash.

A little laugh from her. "A little sex or affection doesn't have you scrambling up any trees." But there was that tingling feeling and a nicker from Serino dragged her eyes back down. Lo and behold, Nerian and Anica standing around under trees, Nerian just poking his nose around then and Anica more or less preening her wings. "Bingo." Thus she slipped off of Serino and again turned her look up...she knew what she was looking for after all, and also using that bond to get closer...almost like a game of hot and cold. Ah there. "Hey you two, don't you know that it's dangerous out there?"
Yes, Kieran and Fianna were lounging in a tree, Fianna effortlessly balanced on a branch and leaning back against the tree trunk, and she was more or less keeping Kerian from falling who was leaned back against her, head resing on her shoulder, she petting at his hair. Of course a chukle and a look down to the ground at the familiar voice...then grabbing tight to Kieran's tunic as he more or less slipped as he looked. So clumsy in trees. She took a moment to make sure Kieran wouldn't be taking a fall and then looked down once more. "A tree is a tree my dear. Besides, it's what I know best."
Kieran...was never comfortable in trees, and always did have a tendency to fall out of them. Thus he was always exceptionally careful...and rarely ventured up into a tree without Fianna present. Someone had to be able to keep him from killing himself. But he settled himself on the branch, holding tight with both hands as Piper go both thier attention. "And here we thought you would come looking sooner." A cheeky look to Fianna. "I win, I told you it would take them more than two hours."

Malik smirked and looked up.
"I'll remind you that you said that when one of the great bats decideds to roost there. or when a snake the size of a surface anaconda with about three times the width. And this was all a bet I see. well, you two, we have things to dicuss and plans to make about this coming trip."
Lightning hit metal, cloth, skin. and she sidestepped the flame and her staff caught the sword. twirled over it, aroudn her shoudler and back like a baseball bat at his head, the length of the staff giving her time to step away and a wave of her hand a little green flow from it, and the sand under his feet turned to quicksand.
"We will see."

Arthur grunted at the feeling of lighting striking his skin, it felt a bit more worse than what Malik has done to him back in their fight, when he touched him with his hand. But it was only for a brief second as the shock made him pause as he was hit in the back of the head with the half-elf's staff. He pitched forward with a slight groan and paused to turn around only to noticed that his feet were now starting to sink into quicksand. "Oh damn it..." he muttered and chucked a bit. Quickly he placed his katana back in his scabbard as he looked down at his feet. Come on move damn it move!!! knowing that he must be still in order to get out of quicksand Arthur looked around for solid ground, seeing that only the sand around his feet were turned into quicksand he pitched himself forward and made it look like he was about to do push ups. With a small grunt he slowly lifted his feet out of the quicksand and rolled away from it. When he got up he looked down at his boots and sighed in disgust. "You ruined my favorite pair of boots." with a small increase in his leg temperature the sand on his legs hardened to dry mud. Quickly he ignited his fists with fire again and charged her, watching her staff and her feet.

"Well...it started as a small walk, that was supposed to include discussion on this upcoming council...and then she went off on a tangent, so I started messing with her to get her to stop...and well...we kind of ended up, wandering off, found trees and well...yes it all went from there."
"Don't make me shove you off." Said as she was standing on that branch, never minding getting any balance because she naturally had it. Thus a hand offered to Kieran to help him as well. A few moments later and they were both on the ground, though Kieran had come down a little sloppily, and rubbing at his arm slightly. She tucked some hair behind her head. "Plans then, of what kind?"
Piper merely shook her head lightly. "Oh get on your horses, we can talk on the way back." Thusly walking back to Serino and mounting up on him, giving him a pet that rattled beads and feathers. "Well, about what to bring exactly, things to do, all that kind of good stuff."

"yes, things to bring, proper actions to take or things to expect, exactly how far is too far in council setting, odds of and what can be done in the event of wedding crashers...how much is too much excess...people I need to know about...is it possible to use magic to arrange for a particular demonstration since Piper talked me out of bringing a breaker."
A sharp little kick to Ramoth's sides and she did what she did best, though if horses could give arrogant, and dirty, looks..she gave one to the winged mare. this was her herd, and they were her males. she only had the other one on loan.
The woman shook her head lightly, and another gesture and the caked mud reattached tiself to the ground. it wasn't hard, it woudl crumble easily..but he was going to get throw off balance. and the second he was, her staff, charged with enough electricty to be a thunderclap, cracked him across the back.

Arthur saw the half-elf shake her head lightly, wondering what the hell is wrong with her he was taken by surprised when the mud on his legs stuck to the ground again. Why didn't I see that coming? he thought and lost his balance as he fell forward. But this put him in a good position, as he fell the half-elf suspected that he just fall and she could hit him, well he would show her. As he fell forward Arthur quickly clapped his hands together and took them apart to make his 'fire-link', throwing the link outwards so he doesn't get burned he used his hands to break his fall while activating his firewall.
Shaking the mud off his feet Arthur slowly crouched down where he was as he watched the flames. I can't let her be prepared to strike... so he did well the most surprising thing he could do. Quickly he dropped the wall and lunged at her, closing the gap pretty much in which she barely had anytime to react with her staff.

Fianna walked over to Anica, giving the mare a pet on the nose before he mounted up behind her wings, giving her another pet and then a little kick to get her going, taking to following aftrer Ramoth and Serino, and a look back to Kieran as we was pulling himself up on Nerian. Fianna chuckled lightly. "Do you always plan and pick this much Malik?"
Piper gave her own little chuckle. "Pretty much...I keep telling him to let up but he's not so then, here we are and asking questions." Then a sly little look. "And...he was worried about you both. After all, we've both been in and are more comfortable in the Underdark than you two."
Which of course brought Kieran up to speed with the rest of the little traveling band. Trees...he wasn't the best with them. "He's just looking to be prepared." And of course he would take Malik's side, seeing as him and Malik were a lot alike in some aspects. "Well...you're really just going to be your natural elven self...we're quite eloquentin words and ways without having to try so no worries on that...besides, you carry yourself a certain way and you've had military trainging." A point back to Piper. "It's little miss Pip I'm worried about."
"Hey! I am right here you know..."
"Bring some clothes, weapons, armors, various little nick nacs and what not. Comforts, but try not to be extravgant and overly done on it. Things that are frivilolus, you might want to leave here. Supplies for whatever it is you do, like Piper's flectching for example. As far as taking things to far and what not, well we don't know until then...though the Crest Bridgade members that attend will usually act as referees to the situations that do arise. People you don't need to be concerned about until you are on plane and can meet them. And what demonstration?"

"It's in the nature of a drow of any breed, I assume. As for my natural self and the like, I have already gotten a list. piper and my own armors, pretty much all the clothign we own, the bedside table with Malvolence's holder, I have gifts for those in council. I'll be bringing Malvolence with me, I had a sword made for piper, her bow, and I have a few others to bring for show and barter perhaps...we may be bringing the foals, I'm not entirely sure on that one. and there is of course Piper's fletching supplies, though some will be provided I'm sure by one of our wedding guests. and my little bag of bonechips."
Then a glance back to Kieran.
"A foolish little human raised elf gave piper a look that was rather..distasteful. while he got his just dues, I regret to think of similar looks to her in council. thus, I have taken some liberties to prepare a demonstration to said elven hypocrites, to teach them a little humility and maybe a tad bit of understanding. not to mention my own personal amusement."
You only need a second to react with a staff. the flamewall went up, right after the static from ehr staff made his hair stand up as it whooshed over his head. the wall of flame didn't deter, but it's sudden drop and a lunging elf got the natural female reaction. that electricty charged staff went straight in the instinctive method of cracking a male assailant between the legs.

"And yes, he means the actual beside table...and probably anything he can stuff in it's drawers." A little chuckle at that, Malik did have his sense of humor after all, intentional or not it was still nice to know it was there.
Kieran nodded his head. "Sounds like a good list...the essentials and also you're already picking into the trade systems and what not. Can't really go wrong with that list. And gifts as well, you never fail to make a foul first impression do you?" One would think that Kieran wouldn't of had a good first impression of Malik...seeing as Malik had decked him. But it was in the name of his daughter so the honor in that had let it pass as noble. At least to Kieran.
A little nod from Fianna, listening to the conversation of the men before she turned her look to Piper. "Are you bringing those foals with you as he said you might?"
"I might as well...they need the exposure to surface life, not to mention they don't need to be away from Serino and Ramoth for too long. I'd like it best if it was bred into them to be equally good in Underdark and on surface." Though a look back up to Malik and Kieran at Malik's mention of that demonstration. Horrible self concious feeling.
Kieran quirked an eyebrow at that mention. What would she get so worked up over a look for that Malik would want to 'make an example' if it were to happen again or prevent such happening. Just another example of the things he didn't know about his daughter. "Hm...as long as you don't cause a fiasco, or give the Brigade a reason to label you as something you are not. Have to be careful about actions that can be seen as hostile Malik."

"Well this may seem as...minorly hostile. nothing to really get upset over though I wouldn't think. save by the one that gets used in it. And I was going to take the closets for convience in transporting clothes but piper insisted I didn't. And she talked me out of bringing a breaker, but that was for the demonstration. but I have other methods of getting that done as well."
A slight smirk at Piper.
"That bedside table only has two drawers, and I already filled them. one has a Naga mirror and the other has a few trinkets I think your friend will like."

"Then I suggest you announce that you're going to do something before you do it...and I wouldn't do it to any of the royals unless they volunteer to be in such a demonstration. If anything, the Brigade would be first to step up. They do have a sort of...almost sacrifical mentalitiy and approach." He shrugged lightly, though this time without the cringe of pain.
Fianna had to give another chuckle...well she was just horribly pleasant today wasn't she? Relaxed almost. Almost. A little wave of her hand in dismissive fashion. "Good show dear, you know when to pull the reins...sometimes they just want to overdo it all the time now don't they?"
Piper shook her head lightly. "Hm...I would take Keely for the horses, but I need her to stay here with Meilikki..." A little shrug. "I suppose there's always going to be someone and someplace for that there." After all, horses were one of the main modes of transportation. Though a smile to Malik. "Well he wanted to bring the bed too. I'll let him bring the sheets, but not the bed, and I'll let him bring the clothes, not the closets. I think it's fair."
