Technically you can be any race you want. It doesn't say "check one" or "check two." So I could be Caublasiatino if I really wanted to be.

My kids are marked as White, Filipino, and American Indian on the census I just sent in, Since my wife is of Filipino, American Indian and Irish decent. I'm just plain white (Welsh, Irish and Scottish ancestry).

Well, I'm white on my mom's side and black on my dad's side. I think, technically, on my dad's side there's some Native American a few generations back, but that would require me to use math to figure it out.

ragingtofu I'm not sure if I should be offended, and if so, how much. Half offended? Man, I wish I could put myself as Native American as well as Caucasian on those things, but I'm pretty sure I'm too many generations removed. By a significant amount.

There's only one box for "White." It says just that. White. And there's the aforementioned "three kinds of Black" box. But after that it seems like every other race ever has it's own box.
