I wonder what level Ash's pikachu is. =o
He's gotta have a truckton of defense and resistance to take all those hits and never pass out, and his special must be through the roof, since he pretty much always one-hit kills everything, sometimes even dozens of pokemons at once.

I went on my brother's game and renamed all his pokemons to other pokemon names.
He was pissed when he figured out Charizard was actually a Metapod. <3

Ash had the chance to upgrade Pikachu to a raichu, didn't he? It has to be at a certain level to do that, and that was way back in the first two seasons.

This logically means that Pikachu is now a Pokemon demigod, and why it stays with Ash is beyond me.

Has Pikachu's gender ever been confirmed? I heard from some places it was a girl.

I know there've been plenty of doujin that has Pikachu billed as a female, but the Pokemon types usually at least suggest a gender. All of the pikachus I've seen at least "look" male, especially when you get to Ash's lookalike.

Haha... your brother's a retard... there's a pic of what the pokemons generlaly looks like... it's kinda hard to tell the charizard icon from the metapod icon... XP

A) In the original games, only a couple of the pokemon had actual genders. After SIlver/Gold, they all had genders. As for the show, I believe Ashs Pikachu is male because they're asian and females are weak there, which is obviously not the case of Pikachu... XP
