(Yep you're forked and stuck in the mud)
Cosmo saw Chica in pain and went over and removed the fork out of her.
"Are you okay Chica?" Cosmo asked as she helped her up.

"Hardly." Chica said as she covered where the pitchfork pierced her with her hand. It seemed to almost burn from the mud getting into the wound alittle.

"well looks like that little chat is done over with" Ali said almost in a monotone voice. Richard looked over his shoulder to see Cosmo help Chica "everything alright?" he asked

Lazarus had been awakened a few days earlier to find the world he knew a different place, and he had been exploring since then. He wasn't sure where he was, but he had managed to end up on the edge of Station Square, watching the black Chao and several others have themselves a short brawl.
He watched, saying and doing nothing else, his wings wrapped around his shoulders like a cape. The wind was fairly brisk, and he had to use his talons to grip the ledge of the building. Green scales shifted slightly as he moved to keep them in view, and his purple slitted eyes narrowed as he watched the chao stab a skunk.
Lazarus frowned, having never seen a Chao attack anyone before, much less with a strange giant fork. He leaned down to get a closer look at some of the gathered people, and a particularly harsh gust of wind managed to slip under his wings, and threw him off the roof.
His gauntlets, which were tied to a small belt he wore, clanged together as his wings snapped open, putting him into a glide, headed toward the beach.

"Not really." Chica said, exposing the wound from the pitchfork. She grunted and sat down on the ground covering the wound again.

"What in the world we are fighting Dragons now come on!" Knuckles said as he flew up to meet the thing.

"You're not "fighting" any dragons, just attacking one!" Lazarus hissed slipping his hands into the cool metal of his gauntlets and putting them in front of himself in a defensive stance.

"A dragon?" Ali asked as she watched Knuckles run off. Richard was about to head over to Chica but looked at Ali first "Ali, you're gonna have to stay close to me" he said. Ali looked at her father and nodded. They then headed over to Chica and Richard checked to wound "we're gonna need to clean it once all this is over" he said
Amy looked over her should to see a Dragon and sweatdropped "oh wow" she said

 ((Hey now no makin fun of the scalie one XD )) Lazarus was slightly surprised when the red echidna didn't attack, and instead yelled a question. "What am I doing? I was watching you have your little bit of fun, when the wind blew me off the roof! he yelled back. He landed heavily in the sand, and kept his guard up. He didn't know what any of these people would do, and he wasn't interested in having to hurl one of them into a building.

"No, you didn't understand why are you here are you here for the emeralds or not are here to help them or us?" Knuckles said to him still ready for a fight if needed.

"Daddy" Ali said as she backed up a bit. "not now honey, i'm trying to figure out how to help Chica" Richard replied. Ali whimpered a little "i love dragons and all but seeing this one made me rethink it" she said

"Emeralds? Why would I need the emeralds? I was trying to learn more about this strange era I woke up in. Has anything..... Magical happened recently?" he asked, only putting his armored arms down just slightly. He backed up a bit more, not feeling comfortable being outnumbered like this.

"Knuckles, i thought we already thought that it was Eggman behind this" Amy said
"remember Amy, Dark Tikal may be behind all of this as well" Richard said as he looked at Amy. Ali shuddered a little, she still couldn't believe that she was the next generation and right now she was really tired after that battle with Dark Amy and this wasn't helping her
