Even Nova was blinded by the amount of light there. Vampires were made more for the night, anyway. It was just the Achyls who were naturally nocturnal, so their senses were made for it. And since the Kalika and Bryony were created by the Achyls, they did not have quite as strong of senses when it came to sight. The vampire giggled at what Mitsuki had said. "Your emotions of love, huh? Well, I'm sure it'll keep an Achyls away. But you know, Bryony vampires can be on the bad side too... It's not just the Achyls. And, I don't think a Kalika can because malice weakens them," he said thoughtfully. He stretched out along the couch and then put his head on Mitsuki's lap. "So, you think this light and your love will keep 'em away?" he asked.

Nova shut his eyes and liked the feeling of the other petting him. He looked at Mitsuki and mumbled something. "You're going to protect me? Uh, you're the human here. You're weaker than me physically. I just don't like fighting, so I don't show anything often," he said, trying to make himself feel better. Though, he did not want to make Mitsuki sad or anything. He hugged the human tightly and kissed him on the cheek. "But, we'll protect each other," he said happily and rubbed his cheek against Mitsuki's face.

((Can we go to the next day? OH!!! I have an idea once Mitsuki goes to sleep~!))

Nova nodded and looked outside as well. The vampire were probably hiding off to the side somewhere, keeping low. They would most likely attack during the night, so Nova was going to make sure his trance was not deep. His shut his eyes, slowly drifting into his vampire sleep, images flashing over his thoughts, dancing across the screen. To dream, one had to be in deep sleep, the sleep called REM sleep. So, Nova did not do as he wished to keep in his trace lightly. He wanted so badly to protect Mitsuki and prove to himself that he was not weak and that he was worthy of being with Mitsuki. He would show Mimi that he was good enough and that it would never be his fault for hurting his beloved human. "Mitsuki..." he mumbled quietly and shifted slightly.

Nova was sound asleep when intruders came in. They snuck up to the vampire and his human, careful not to wake them. The Kalika barely shifted, mumbling random things and making a rumble sound in his throat that was trying to mimic a purr. A vampire shook his head. It was strange to see a vampire like that, but not a Kalika. They were too soft. The vampire on the right and left nodded, looking at one another. The light did not seem to bother them, perhaps they were not Achyls like Nova had thought. One of them poked Nova in the shoulder, the lead one, timidly. He muttered something quietly into Nova's ear, hoping the sleeping vampire would hear and understand. The Kalika moved into a sitting position and woke up. "You guys aren't Achyls, huh?" he asked. They shook their heads. He saw deep green eyes and a pair of grey eyes like his own. Nova smiled. Two Bryony and one Kalika. He stood up and bowed to them. "Nice to meet you. What has brought you to my home?" he asked warmly. The Bryony on the left stood up straight and cleared his throat.

"I'm the current heir to the Bryony clan. I have not yet picked out a human yet, but my sister has," he said, pointing to the female Bryony to the right. They were the same age, probably twins. Nova nodded and looked at the Kalika. "Oh, and he has taken your place as heir. We were wondering if that was okay? He is the first Kalika out of the whole clan this generation to choose a female feeding bag," he said. Nova cringed at the term the Bryony had used. "Oh, sorry for not introducing ourselves. I'm Hunter, this is Sarika, my sister... And that's Levi." He bowed, along with the others, and Nova bowed in return. "We wanted to speak with you and your human. It would have been too dangerous on the streets, and we did not want to have you to try and strike us down in protection of your human. We needed to speak to both of you, but it seems he is tired. It can wait until he wakes," Hunter explained. Nova understood perfectly.

"Until morning," Nova said with a bow and sat back down on the couch with his human. "Make yourselves comfortable," he said and cuddled back with his human.

Nova shook Mitsuki a couple times and looked at him in the eyes. "Calm yourself," he said in a soft voice. He took the lamp from him and gently tapped him on the head with it. "They're not bad. These are the vampires who were following us. The heirs to Bryony and Kalika clans... Except the girl," he said and stood up, taking his human's hand in his own once he put the lamp where it was supposed to go. Hunter and Sariki stood up and bowed while Levi slowly got up and looked around. He was not much younger than Nova, but he was a lot more timid and shy. Though, Nova was only shy when he felt strange... Like when a lot of people were looking at him. Nova looked at Mitsuki and kissed him on the cheek. "They wanted to talk, but it can wait until morning when you got enough sleep," he told the human and looked at the others who were already laying down again. Nova went to the door and shut and locked it. "Sleep time!" he exclaimed happily.

Nova sniffled and watched Mitsuki walk off. Maya did say to have Mitsuki take a day off, right? Maybe he would be able to convince the human to stay and rest. He ran after Mitsuki and hugged him from behind and sniffled again. "No. You have to stay and rest. Look at your face!" he exclaimed and rubbed his face against the other's back. "Maya recommened you stay home from school and take care of yourself. Please? I don't want to see you all tired and mopey," he said quietly. The other vampires were sitting off to the side and watching, wondering why the human just did not rest like his body was begging.

Nova nodded happily and turned to the vampires. It seemed that they would not be speaking with the human and Nova, so they would have to just deal with the vampire himself. The Kalika walked over and began to speak with the others. The only thing spoken was if it was okay with the son of the leader of Kalika was fine with the position of heir being switched to the Levi vampire. Seeing as Nova's human was male, and he was unable to have children, then there was no other choice. Levi had a female in mind that he had been watching for awhile. So, their discussions were really pointless. What a waste of time. Nova then got news of what was happening. Seemed that Kuro, the heir of the Achyls, was found out by his father and taken into questioning. The other heirs had not heard from him in a day or two when they set up an hour everyday to speak. Would he have to become part of a rescue mission or something? He sighed and crossed his arms. "So, you guys go do your business. I'll think about things," Nova finally said. They all nodded and headed out to do their own thing. So much was going on. No wonder Mitsuki got no sleep. Vampires needed little to survive, but some liked the feeling of sleep, so they did it more often than a normal vampire. Nova shook his mind of the random thoughts and saw that the vampires had left as he locked the door back up and walked to Mitsuki's room and peeked inside. "All finished," he said.

Icarus shifted slightly when Armand moved his ganged from his face. He mumbled something and curled up closer to himself. As he slept, Isis jotted things down on paper. Details, what happened that, excluding Armand telling her that he was a vampire, and what she would get her brother for his birthday. Isis say quietly on Icarus' bed. Her hair fell from behind her ear.
Getting up, the girl walked over to the light switch, flipped it off, stood there momentarily as her eyes adjusted then returened to the bed and flipped the covers over. She sat down and swung her legs onto the bed, covered up and leaned back against the pillows that rested against the head bored.
"I wonder in Icarus has charcoal..."
Isis moved under the covers and fell asleep within a matter of seconds. She only had two thin blankets covering her.


Neruphial had most of the blood out of his shirt, he held it up and looked at it. "Hmm...this is going to take longer then I wanted it to." the vampire mumbled to himself as he put the meterial back under the runnibg water, he continued to clean the shirt. I need to claim her tomorrow or I'll be fighting off a good amount of vampires and I might not be able to go longer then one more day with out blood. He looked over at the couch where Amerlie was sleeping and sighed.
The vampire was going to have a hard time the whole night if another came and tried to get Amerlie so he wouldn't be amle to go into his trance like state and rest.
Neruphial finished washing his shirt in the kitchen sink, turned the faucet off and started to look for a place to hang his shirt to dry. The first door he opened was Amerlies room and he immediatly shut it after getting a good wift of the air freshener. Next door he tried was the bathroom, the room he was looking for since bathrooms normaly had racks to hang things upon.
"Here we are."
