Rune looked up at Tora "that would be a great idea" she said with a smiling looking at Shugatsu "please excuse my rudeness,my name is Rune from the Kazentanpopo okiya" She said smileing and bowing her head low. "i'm a new maiko as well"

Mizu smiled, refilling Shugatsu-sama's cup with hot tea. "Ne Shugatsu-sama, you write poetry and meditate, and you say that I know little of you. Could you enlighten me?" she asked shyly. "You are so different from the teahouse's usual clientele that I am admittedly quite interested..." The blush she had been forcing back appeared under her makeup, staining her cheeks with a rosy-pink hue. She hoped she wasn't being too forward; she glanced to her Onee-sama for reassurance.

Mizu sighed softly, filled with a bittersweet calm that caused her heart to ache. "It was beautiful Tora-chan," she told her friend softly, her voice conveying her enjoyment. Mother...I cannot help missing you...just like the words of the poem...

"Thank you Mizu-chan. I'm sorry it was so sad, but I wrote this when I left my mother and father. I write how I feel," Tora replied. She smiled sweetly at Mizu, remembering how she too missed her parents. Tora almost doubled over in pain at the fact Mizu could never see her's again.

Makoto smiled at all the poems that started to wander about the teahouse, she used to write poems back in the in her village but nothing since had inspired her that much to write anymore at least nothing she found to be good, but she did enjoy it very much.

"Thank you, Rune-chan," Tora replied. "I'm glad everyone is liking it. If you please, I'd like to recite a happier one to lighten up the mood." Tora waited in responce.

Mizu gave her friend a shy smile, though her eyes were suspiciously bright. "I know what you mean..." She poured them both more tea and took a sip of her own to calm her suddenly clamoring thoughts.

"Ah ne, Onee-sama, I heard the Pagoda was opened recently!" Mizu spoke up, remembering the rumors. "Ne, do you think we could go and see what it's like? I'm so curious...I've no idea what it must be like..."

"Okay," Tora said all giddy like.
"As I am engulfed by your kiss And feel your embrace For the first time I feel what real love is For the first time I know what it is to love
No longer needy No longer trying to impress anyone No longer feeling my pain inside
You take away all my cares You take away all my doubts
Along with you, family, and friends And above all, God I realize I have always been loved"
Tora smiled, it wasn't her best, but it was the most "un-sad" of the bunch.

Mizu smiled. "Ne Tora-chan, you have such a way with words, I envy you...my poetry is nothing so good..." she gave her friend's hand a small squeeze.

Tora gasped at the poem she'd just recited. Was it against a geisha to love? Her mother never told her anything about that. She new nothing of true love and so sheld that part of her heart up. Maybe that was why he poetry was so sad. She knew the love for family was different than love for friends, and vice-versa. She also knew the love for a man was way different. She glanced at her hands. "Maybe I shouldn't have recited that one," she thought.

"beautiful word choice Tora-chan,you really should turn one of your poems into a dance" Rune said giggling, her face blushed barely but was still noticeable. "please excuse" Rune said bowing her head. "I bet it would be as beautiful as your poem"
