And Kael probably would have been more interested in that quest when there was money in it. I guess that's not important since he's busy and would have been skeptical of how it sounds fantastical anyway- and because he'd suspect to get scammed out of any potential makings, if not just scammed in general, due to the suspicious nature of it all.
Then again. I guess chances are a greater number of the Gaians are concerned about fame than adding more money to their already inexhaustible hordes that they don't actually ever spend any of.
Paying hospital bills by doing repair jobs in the slums isn't quite the norm.

There's still money in the quest. And his suspicions would be
quickly put at ease. It's simply not the only reason that people would get involved.
