i understand the...know about what's going on but not partaking in it....i don't partake anymore.
...in most of it...there is no real happiness. everything is for the moment...and sometimes...mostly selfish.

Meh. Disney's subliminal messages aren't exactly a threat to society. sweatdrop I'm a bit more worried about the obvious messages. 'Course, I live out in the boonies, so we don't get much crime. Except for drugs. A lot of the kids have nothing better to do than get stoned, so that's exactly what they do. -.-' Buncha morons, but they're a product of society.

I live in suburbia We're just as bad as any city unfortunately. Gah...for someone like me who never wants to drink, never wants to smoke, never wants to do drugs, and save myself for marriage, it's rather disconcerting to hear about all of this and to ahve people openly flaunt it in your face.

what are you talking about? Disney may be starting out small, but there is something much larger at work here my friend! lol, im just kidding. yea, we have a lot of problems out here where i live. lots of drugs, drinking, sex, you name it. i try to steer away from that kind of stuff and hang out with my friends doing stuff that WONT kill us...hehe

I'm in the same position as Maximillion....I live in the area between two large cities but it is practically the backwoods. I still hear about all that stuff people hear in the suburbs or the city though.

It's really not all that it's cracked up to be. I think I mioght like rural life better than suburbia, even if everything's five miles away.

For what it's worth, I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, randomly kill people, have promiscuous sex (HA! Who am I kidding? Throwing in the word 'promiscuous' as an ego cushion..), watch Disney movies, or worship dark and mysterious gods.

and i sold my soul to the devil in order for him to teach me to play the guitar real good... blaugh and i dont do any of tha other stuff either...i stopped drinking when my neighbor died by a drunk driver. talk about a wake up call...not that i was an alcaholic before.

There's a history of alcoholism in my family, and I certainly don't want to go down that road, so I'm not taking any chances. So yeah....And dude, the 40-year old men thing is just plain wrong...*shudder*
