Kamazuki Ishamaru There's a chance I'm going to be forced of the world of the Internet for a rather indefinate amount of time soon here. My brother in law says he's thinking of getting rid of it at home and putting it at the restaraunt, for a passworded computer which I won't have access to, unless I wan't to pay for it here. But, I can't afford to pay for the Internet as I don't make enough money to pay for that, rent, food, and what little other stuff I can get. So, if I suddenly poof away for a prolonged period of time, you know what happened to me, and I'd like to say goodbye in advance just incase. sweatdrop NOOOOOOOOOOO! gonk

Whos computer is it? Tell him to go invest in a real computer to use because if its being used in a store you dont need the full capacity of a regluar computer, all you need is a small computer with almost NO harddrive, you could probably run it on a damn gig of memory, or a friggen flash card, all it would be needed for is internet surfing! And evne that youd need to put passwords on and stuff or hes wasting money x_x thats dumb!

He's using his son's computer. Why? I dunno for sure. o.o
And it isn't really my fault this time, ID. D: The other times were, I'll admit, though. And I'm not completely sure if he is actually going to get rid of it at home at the moment, to be honest. I have the feeling he is, though and if so, bye for I don't know for how long. sweatdrop
I should be on and posting for a few days at least, but I just wanted to say bye in case I get cut off all of a sudden. emo

Tell him hes wasting what probably is a $600 cpmuter that is gonna break since PC's are not meant to be used like that, when he could simply rent an internet computer, which he wouldnt have to fix, debug, scan for virus' and is probabyl 200$ or more cheaper!

You should tell your brother, from a computer Major and person who plans on dealing with computers everyday, he is making a very BAD decision by using a personal PC for a computer that, in a resturante, the only purpose anyone would use a computer there for is the internet. He is putting himself in a dangerous position. I already mentioned the upkeep that would come out of HIS pocket, but the potential threats behind letting people use the computer like that are huge. Internet predators using your establishment to search for people, hackers and people who wanna send people viruses or steal information could do it EASY in a computer with a hard drive. All id need is a cd, a flash drive, or to email myself a file to download and steal everyones infromation or make YOU responsible for sending out a virus. Cause I certainly would use such a computer to let the blame fall on someone else if i planned on doing an illegally tracable activity.

Ill even say, as much as I hate them....Macs make good and cheap internet computers for a buisness. They are too confusing for anyone to get on it to do much of anything else OTHER then internet browsing, the security is basically built in and youll at least be in the cheap flashy realm.
