If it is really private, then would she be ok with you posting what she said to you? I don't know about you but if I had a private conversation with someone I wouldn't want them to just post parts of it for everyone to see... if it was just a normal conversation I probably wouldn't mind but something like the part you posted I would. I don't know if she'd actually mind or not, I'm just giving my opinion on it. I know that when I confessed my feelings for someone over a message I felt really embarrassed and if he posted what I said anywhere that I might see it then I'd be more embarrassed. And this happens to be a forum that she's also part of so I dunno... If you know she wouldn't mind then that's different, but I don't know so I guess it just sort of bothers me. sweatdrop

Like, I know I wouldn't mind if something like that happened, but you need to ask before posting something as personal as that.

That one night Generally you can't be clingy ina new relationship more often than not you'll just annoy/scared the other person away. I know this from personal experience.. i've been on both ends. Not just new relationships. One of my ex's did it nonstop for 6 months which is why I practically ran away from that relationship. So yeah, you weren't the only one who was uncomfortable seeing that. ~~ I get why someone wouldn't tell a significant other to knock it off though, you feel like a jerk. They're showering you with affection and you're rejecting it. If I hadn't had that experience with my ex, I wouldn't have been able to tell my current boyfriend to knock it off because I've been down that road and it sucked.

Though I did leave out bits I thought she might get angry if I showed to others cause they were more personal to her.

epic-writer42 Edit: Which I only mention infrequently from time to time. Actually, you mention it very frequently. I've noticed it a lot since I came back, and I haven't been back for that long.

Admittedly, Epic's behavior toward Icey made me a bit uncomfortable, too... D;
I'm absolutely crazy about my not-girlfriend, but I can afford to go a long time without talking to her. I understand that she's often very busy, and that she'll talk to me if she wants to. I still send her messages every now and then, but not too often. I guess it also helps that I don't really overreact. When she mentioned that one of her neighbors had asked her out, I didn't get jealous. And when she told me about how her classmate suddenly started kissing her neck while they were walking around campus, I didn't flip my s**t.
My s**t remained unflipped.
It just sat there on the skillet, and started to burn on one side.
I acknowledged the fact that the situation had upset her, and calmly talked her through it.
Anyway, Epic does have a point when he says that reception of such attention is subjective. Icey might find his behavior charming and endearing rather than off-putting, and we can't prove otherwise unless she signs in and clarifies for everyone.
