She looked at him with an irritated expression still; now out of frustration. Was he really that dense? Or had she truly not explained things to him? "I was abandoned, left on the property of my master without note, without explanation, nothing. No one has ever come to look for me. Is it not true that ones own family should love them? If my family were to have loved me, they would not have abandoned me or they would have returned for me later! And if they did not love me, what did I do wrong? What could I, at such a young age, have possibly done to cause them to discard me? That is why I know love has given up on me." she said, her final sentence said in a very matter of fact way.

I was also abandoned but not outside a place where people might've found me, I was left to die. Even so I haven't given up on love, not even now when my family has been killed. It has nothing to do with gender or how strong or cold I am, it is just that I know that love can't be given up on.* Ali starred down at her, it wasn't words of pity but rather words in which she could reflect upon.*

Tilting her head, she almost began to wonder if this were to become a pissing contest of who was most neglected in their younger years. She smiled, though, with his final words. "I see .. I had forgotten. That is one detail of childhood that Reeve and I could connect on also. Though .. still you and I are different. I am of two minds on this subject and I do not understand why. Part of me is passionately telling me that there is still someone .. something .. present somewhere that is some form of love that I seek. A different part of me .. is saying that love exists but it is not necessary to live my life .. I can have a mate and raise offspring without love, it is the way it has always been, says this part also. I do not understand .. one part of me is so calculating, logical .. the other part of me is compassionate, loving for all who will allow it. There is no middle ground, it is always one extreme or the other .. it is tearing at my soul!" She rested her arms on the table, then her head in her hands. Simply pondering these things seemed to be causing her physical pain. Her hands slowly moved from holding her head to gripping it, trying to relax enough to not hurt.

She looked crestfallen. "Then we may have a dilemma .. but .. I refuse to think more of it now. For now .. I just .. need friends but not a lover." she replied, still looking to him as if he might have an answer as to whether or not this was normal.

In the raftors Yawgmoth rolled in his sleep, right onto his broken tail. The pain caused him to shoot away. Sitting up quickly that put even more pressure on his tail causing him to wince and roll quickly off of it. He was so glad he marked that b***h, she was going to be in for a living hell now that she was branded. To relieve the pain for the moment Yawgmoth's body degraded into liquid which slithered down a column and onto the floor before solidifying as himself once more. Yawgmoth grumbled and walked for the bar, careful to avoid how he walked in case his tail tried to sway in the wrong direction.

She nodded and smiled, looking positively relieved. "Thank you, Ali. I do not know where I would be this day had you not been here to talk. I am in your debt." she said, lowering her gaze respectfully in gratitude.

You owe me nothing Ziven, just rest and gather your strength * Ali smirked somewhat before he looked over at Yawg and his odd walking, kinda looked like he crapped his pants. not that he would say that out loud.*

Yawgmoth slithered behind the bar and grumbled listening to Aliator and Ziven. He reached below the bar and found the last bottle of red wine, popping the cork Yawgmoth chugged it down like he hadn't drank in forever. Ignoring completely every other living creature in the room Yawgmoth ducked into the kitchen vanishing from sight for a moment.

She smiled and bobbed her head. "As you wish. Though if you require anything, please do not hesitate to ask." She replied telepathically to Ali. Looking where Ali had, she saw Yawgmoth moving and moved her head slightly in acknowledgement of his presence but said nothing.
