Ayla doubled back as the musky scent of the inn assaulted her senses once more. There was just something about the smell that made her tense up. Perhaps it was the combined notion of being in a strange place, and not really belonging there that threw her senses off guard.
She stretched and yawned, then trudged over to one of the corners to take a seat. Lifting her foot up to rest on her knee, she slid her boot off and gingerly rubbed her bruised calf. She adored her boots, but damn, wearing them for too long sure did take its toll.
She searched her surroundings, taking in the details of the damaged bar. There weren't many people around, and the few that were, she didn't recognize from the commotion earlier.

In a tucked away part of the room near the bar there was a very large archway that lead into a dank dark place, a place that seemed to swallow light as it were. The naked eye could not penetrate it's depths and yet it was clear there was something there. The echoing sounds of feet hitting a hard surface echoed up from that dark abysmal archway. Strands of fire red hair came into view followed by the large visage that was Yawgmoth. He wore much less this time having just come up from Crow's dungeon. Nothing but the loose fitting pants he was wearing earlier. No boots, no shirt, no other fancy kind of clothing. Stretching his arms behind his head the sickening crack of his shoulder blades popping into place rumbled through the air. Crimson eyes peered out from underneath the fire red hair and they scanned the room back and forth only to lay eyes upon Ayla once more. The tired sounding Yawgmoth finally spoke. "You're still here? Why? You sounded so disgusted earlier we figured youd've left by now. Mouthy and stubborn we see." the dark king said stifling a yawn that wanted to escape.

Ayla removed her other boot and placed it on the floor next to the other, then leaned back in her seat to scrutinize Yawgmoth. She crossed her legs, absently sliding her aching calf up and down her other leg in attempt to soothe the skin. "A girl's gotta eat," she shrugged at him, fiddling with the string just below her left shoulder. "You're not looking to get rid of me yet, are you, Yawgie?" Her inquiry was playful and sarcastic.
She took a moment to judge exactly how much trouble she would be in if she managed to truly piss him off. He was what, three times her size, and double her weight? Letting her eyes trail over his torso, Ayla felt a sudden chill run down her spine. <******** monster...

Yawgmoth's left eyebrow rose at her tone of the word 'yawgie' that made it quite obvious she was just doing it provoke him. Perhaps his tail demonstration wasn't enough of a demonstration to begin with to show her just what he was capable of. His size should be the least of her worries. But suddenly it hit him, like the sweet smell of honey. The stench of fear. Yawgmoth was very attune to such things and the chill that ran down her spine was quite clear to the trained eye. His somber tired expression turned grim as he finally smiled at her. His teeth exposed, this would further her theory of him being a monster for sure. Yawgmoth's two canines were enlarged and ended in sharp points, the rest of his smaller teeth ended in points as well. From look alone one would assume his teeth could rip off a large chunk of flesh if he were to bite and pull, scary to say the least. All of them glimmering white as the light bounced off of them. The evil grin and expression directed right at her.
"What did you say? Yawgie? We thought we corrected you little girl. We are Yawgmoth. Maybe one day in the far future when we add the term friend to your description, you can call us that. But for now we're telling you, it is Yawgmoth." He called out in a stern sounding voice to her as his grin faded and his lips once more hid the horrors of his mouth. "Now then, eat you say? What is it you have a taste for?" Yawgmoth asked purposely licking his lips over once eyeing her like a hungry animal, as if he'd meant to eat her.

Ayla's narrowed green eyes held his gaze defiantly. She inhaled deeply, the fear fading as soon as she exhaled. She had let her guard down, if even for a second. She forced a smile and rose to her feet. Bare feet touched the hardened wood as she moved across them in a fluid motion to halt just in front of Yawgmoth. Craning her neck, she stared up at him fearlessly.
The floorboards creaked lightly when she rose to her toes, attempting to close some of the vertical distance between the two of them. She stood there, still as a statue and studied his face for the longest time. Until her mouth fell open and lulled an answer to his last question. "Nuts," she whispered, eyes darting downwards momentarily, only to then catch his gaze once more and allow a taunting smirk to play at the corner of her lips.
Satisfied, Ayla dropped to her heels and quietly turned around to tip-toe over to the bar, not bothering to stay long enough to see his reaction.

Yawgmoth blinked for a moment and as she turned her back he burst into laughter. All that dramatic pause and staring one another down just to end in "nuts" made Yawgmoth laugh uncontrollably. He finally managed to calm himself and then wiped his eyes clear. "You're most unpredictable." He responded standing back up straight, tall and proud. "We're not sure they carry these, nuts. You can look for them on you're own. After all you're such a big tough girl, finding a snack shouldn't too much of a challenge now should it?" Yawgmoth taunted walking idly to a sofa and flopping down upon it, shifting so his tail hung over the side and swished back and forth upon the floor.

With her back turned against him, Ayla dismissed him with a wave of her hand. "Yes, yes, whatever." Stopping for a moment, she placed both hands on her hips and looked around. "The problem, dear Yawgie, is that I don't know my way around this place."

Yawgmoth's ears twitched for a moment, that squeal could only be one person. Yawgmoth quickly stepped quickly a few feet to the right so he would crash into the ground instead of landing on Yawgmoth. He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. "Hello to you too Vupi" he said in a somber tone.
Turning his attention back towards Ayla for the moment he spoke again, "The problem woman" He said refusing to address her by name until she addressed him properly. "is that you're not trying hard enough. It's just a bar with some cabinets underneath, poke around. Find things for yourself. We didn't think someone like you would need any help" he said taunting her again.

Ayla blinked as a blur of brown came crashing down on the spot Yawgie had just been occupying. She had to stifle a laugh, finding the situation very amusing. "Fan of yours?"
Shaking her head, Ayla reached over to hoist herself over the bar counter, disappearing behind it. Sounds of cabinets being rummaged through echoed around the room, until a head with ruffled hair sticking out in every direction possible poked up. "Found some nuts!" she exclaimed, holding up her prize. Grinning widely, she flipped herself over the counter again, then trekked across the room to flop onto the sofa.

Yawgmoth eyed Vupi and then returned to Ayla after she exclaimed her accomplishment of finding her snack. "Mmm you could say that." he replied sitting down on a barstool grumping over Vupi's appearance in the bar. This would be..interesting and very annoying.

Ayla grabbed a handful of nuts, and rose back to her feet. Still bare foot, she moved over to Vupi, who was now clinging to Yawgmoth's leg, and lowered herself to her haunches right next to him. Curiously, she stuffed her mouth full of snacks and poked the ball of fur lightly. "I think you're on your own, kid."

Yawgmoth shook his head. "You knew we were going to move." Yawgmoth said as his tail slid between his own leg and vupi's body in attempt at prying him off. "Now kindly get off Vupi." Yawgmoth grumped.
