A look up from her food, giving a smile to Zahara and a little nod. "Morning indeed Zahara. Though I don't fancy getting up dark and early." Figured they had woke up early because they were outside, because according to the iternary of the night before, they should of been worn out. Being an elf was indeed wonderful. At least these two were going to quit...she didn't think she could take the headache. And back to forcing down breakfast...eh she'd eat all of breakfast and just skip lunch...probably wouldn't be hungry anyway.
Sevilin merely rolled his eyes behind his bangs and lightly crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair. She could be that way if she wanted to. If she wanted to take two steps back then so be it. Let her go a mile backwards for all he cared. Damned woman who turned on him every other damned day. Sometimes he just wanted to shake her till she went limp. But he contained his anger for the moment, tapping his fingers on his arm. "No, we were just finishing for the day actually." A look to Zahara at Malik's question.
"She's...doing well. Though still learning some very important and vital lessons. Learning from her mistakes, as in any good education." Of course he noted that she was trying to pretend she was alright. Well...she shouldn't of pissed him off because now he wasn't going to be so nice to her. A point to the table, where that dried on runic circle was from her earlier doing. "Zahara, why don't you go ahead and clean that up..."

"Good."
All malik said on that, though finishing his meal and lightly dabbing his mouth a bit.
"Though, a little question. How are you feeling in the mornings, Zahara? I heard the other day you spent your morning throwing up. curious as to if that has cleared up or not. the quesyness."

Now why was he being mean? She turned from Arthur and glared at him. If looks could kill he would have burst into flame or been eaten by some flesh eating moss or something like that. He knew what it was like to feel the way she did and she slowly pushed herself to her feet then began to walk. It was slow going, her movements were jerky, and she hated Sevilin for putting her through this, hated him so much. She didn't have that agent on her either so she was forced to pull out her dagger and lean over the table and scratch it off. Her body was filled with the tingling feeling and every time she moved it hurt. Oh she hated Sevilin for this. She was going to get back at him, it was just a matter of time. It took her a good ten minutes but she finally scratchd all of the circle off the table, not caring if the wood got scratched or not and she brushed it off the table and onto the floor. At this point, she just dind't care. Slowly she made her way back to her seat and sank back down, watching every move he made. Her eyes cut to Malik at his question and she merely shrugged. "I'm not so foolish as to think you might actually be concerned about my wellbeing but in answer to your question, I'm fine. It was a bad reaction to a potion, nothing more." He knew becuase he had some reason to know, she knew that and wasn't about to give him anything worth using. a*****e.

And that was the point that she rolled her eyes. There he went again with the whole planning Zahara's pregnancy. Why did it seem that that was his focus these days? Piper called it work and he was back at it already. Then again she was used to this wasn't she? Well...at least he didn't have the damned sword. A little wrinkle of her nose as she continued to push through breakfast.
Sevilin of course didn't get any satisfaction out of her actually doing it. Nor her discomfort. Not that he cared if he did or didn't anyway. But yay here they were all playing family at the table again. Right...he had to stop running into these moments. Though his eyes turned to Malik on his questioing to Zahara and then back to her as she answered him. Was he going on about that again?

"Great. in that case, then you should be able to be working on that potioning in your spare time, since you are obviously well and not sick in any form. I know that self testing does things on occasion to the body, but since your fine I see no reason for you to postpone your research."
Hey, malik wasn't always trying to play the 'let's get Zahara pregnant game' actually, now that a child wasn't needed to bind Sevilin, he coudl care less if she was. save for humor value.

"You see no reason, I feel differently." And she did. For one thing she needed more ingredients and she needed to think and right now her mind was occupied elsewhere. She had to get used to these strings before she was ever going to be able to work on getting Piper pregnant. It was in her intentions to give Piper a child because that's what she wanted. Zahara had had this discussion with her for just that reason. Right now, she didn't care if she pissed Malik off or not. And as much as she'd love to keep Malik from getting what he wanted, it wasn't fair to snatch it from Piper as well.

Piper pushed a now empty plate slightly away from herself, setting her fork on it. Uh, there...he could be happy now, she ate it all. Not that that made her happy but that was life now wasn't it. She swore...that was the last time she was eating everything on her plate for him...when she wasn't pregnant. She had been substaining off of her own portions for years and she was just fine and held true to that. Hell, as humans said, if it wasn't broke then don't fix it. Worked for her. Though a look at Zahara...self testing...what happened to having other people do your dirty work for you? Especially when drow did things.
Sevilin gave them all a once over, as they were talking about some potion thing. One of the things that he had filtered out in his listenings...because hey, if she was feeding a potion of any sorts to the surface trash and bad things happened to her...well let's just say he wouldn't be heart broken about it. But he kept that to himself.

"Then do explain your reasons, Zahara. I'm curious to know what possibly has your attention. Or is there other reasons that I perhaps should know or can be of assistance with you overcoming so that you can get yourself back to potion work?"
Yes he was prodding a bit. he knew her well enough to know that she hadn't enjoyed scrapping that gel off, and her movements were slow, almsot exaggerated. So what was wrong, there were something malik's patience just didn't tolerate well.

Malik got another look, couldn't he just leave well enough alone? Why did he have to have a reason? Why couldn't he just shut up and go away, leave her in peace? "It is not my job to satisfy your curiosity Malik. Suffice to say that I'm not quite ready to continue work and when I am I shall." That was all there was to that after all. She had no desire to hear him right now, all she wanted to do was murder Sevilin, very slowly and very painfully. She was getting the urge to fidget again but she tamped it down, no need to let Malik on to what was going on.

He tapped his fingers on the table a moment before swiping a hand over it's surface. Any scratches that Zahara had left were gone and any books that had been on the table disappeared. He loved runic pockets indeed. That done he pushed away from the table and got up, giving a nod to those there. "Well if you'll excuse me, and since lessons are done, I'm going to go catch up on some of my own reasearch I've been doing." Thus a parting nod to them all, a slight glare at Zahara just because and he walked out of the dinning room and headed for the library, chittering being the only noise that told he was staying in the fortress for a bit longer.
Well...Sevilin was gone. She supposed that that made this whole moment better now didn't it? Not watching him at the end of the table and probably thinking of things to do to her if he ever caught her alone, and wasn't afraid of Malik's retaliation. "Malik don't antagonize her about it...it's not that important." Of course she was going to downplay the subject...she always did. Besides, it would take time one way or another, no need to rush it.

Arthur just kept on eating as the others talked about things, like Zahara being sick how her lessons are coming along and having her to get back to work. Although he wondered just why Malik was so curious as to why she was sick but he pushed it aside, not wanting to butt in since he felt like his opinion didn't matter yet; after all he has only been there a day. Pushing his plate away from his body he touched his stomach lightly and sighed, god he must of ate to fast. Slowly he took his katana off and placed it in his lap as he ran his hand down the scarbbard with a smile before looking back up at the others. Arthur had his worries about Malik and Sevilin, not just because they are drow but he just had a gut feeling, and no it wasn't because of how fast he ate his food. Piper was nice towards him and Zahara maybe in the middle. Slowly he placed one elbow on the table and used his hand to hold his head as he looked at them all. What an odd bunch, and he gave a slight nod to Sevilin as he left. Slowly his eyes turned to Zahara and he cleared his throat. "Well things are...interesting...and please just call me Arthur."

Malik narrowed his eyes at Zahara, full prepared to give her a retort or see if she was pregnant by doing some horrible nasty necromantic things to the child to be, like speed up it's growth so her stomach blew up like a ballon. turning his attention to Piper a moment, then shrugged lightly.
"I was not antagonizing. She lives here, an dher health, and her work is my concern. no free rides here. Sevilin earns his keep as our rune master and Zahara's teacher. Arthur's blade is mine to command. Zahara is a cleric and potions expert. thus I consider it my concern to know why she wasn't continuing her research."

Zahara could poke right back. "I wasn't aware my continued presence here came with conditions. If that's the case and I'm not working to your satisfaction, then by all means, Malik, throw me out." Sevilin's glare had her stiffening before her body relaxed and she turned to Arthur. "Yes things are rather interesting around here aren't they? You'll soon get used to the tense atmosphere and demands of the one who considers himself Lord and Master."

Piper propped her elbows on the table and put her face in her hands a moment, before a spike of self consciousness for Arthur being in the room, the aforementioned action possibly moving her hair in the wrong way to expose her ear, had her messing at her hair on the one side...should of grabbed her bandana. "Do we really have to have this fight today? By all means do tell me and I shall go occupy myself with fletching in a quiet place, or writing up invitations." No she wasn't going to have them ruin her good mood with thier bickering.
